I had a dream that I was in an apartment building that had half floors that I didn't know about.
I was trying to find a friend that lived on the 7th floor. I couldn't find the apartment so I asked someone in the hallway about it. The person told me that my friend actually lived on floor 7 1/2, not floor 7. Floor 7 1/2 was 1/2 floor above floor 7. Elevator didn't go there, had to take the stairs, but the stairs were blocked off with pieces of plywood.

My cat woke me up early and I kicked it out of my bedroom and shut the door and fell back asleep. That is when I had the dream.
I woke up thinking about it. It was a very vivid dream.
