Indeed. She stared with James Whitmore in "The Next Voice You Hear…" (1950). In the film, God comes on the radio all over the world at the exact same time, and does so for a week. There is a "40 days" rainstorm in it and she freaks the hell out. Couldn't find a clip of that, but here's another. I have always said that if I ever got money, I would want to re-make this movie to update it to include the internet. The change in the world over the week is very interesting.
It's really a provocative story. Interesting to watch the characters struggle with the voice. Has some funny parts too. Worth the watch if you can find it. imo
I know what you mean. It used to be available on YT until a few years ago. Looks like you can buy/rent it on YT. If you do manage to see it, you will love Nancy freaking out during the storm. And she's also supposed to drop the baby any day, and it looks like they put an orange on her belly. kek! Lots of good little stories in it. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=_z9PSBAW_kY
Coinky dink, in the beginning of the movie, the voice is heard by two people flying an airplane at the same time, one in French and one in English. I would REALLY like to see it updated to include the net. I think it is being suppressed because who wants to think about God talking to you , and what He might say? People might change their ways, and we can't have thaaaat, now can we?
We heard you the first 25 times.
>They are so desperate in their discouragement attempts
For sure. Watching over the years, they think this is something new. This anon is keking right along with you.
> I wonder what could be coming this week that has them so rattled…
hardly
