I understand why TP gets heat sometimes but they are wrong about TP being a liar or a shill. He's ex-FBI and a definite threat to McCabe and crew so in the beginning (only been in business a couple years) he was sometimes given faulty intel to purposely make him look bad. He said he and his team, (ex-NYPD/FBI guys) had to quickly figure out who was a reliable source and who was full of shit.
IMO he would be quoted more often and taken more seriously if he just told everyone who he is, but he has made it clear that threats are real, he has a family and has tried to stay anonymous for those reasons.
