From all that the anons have seen of the very vocal and deranged Alec Baldwin, the below scene plays out right !!
right now i have not followed this, but it quickly appears that baldwin probably went on a drink and drugs bing and probably grabbed his gun thinking it was a prop and shot two people killing one. After the first shot why would you keep firing? Who would be able this ego manic what to do on set or anywhere?

Baldwin was off his tits on drugs and drink, probably picked up the wrong gun and started threatening the director of photography and the director and shot at them.
If he was in a scene, he would be point at the actors, if after the first shot was fired and the person looked like they were shot, any sane person would stop not keep firing.
