I have made my sparse living as an artist/crafter for the last 18 yrs, working outdoor markets, shows, festivals, etc.
The mask mandate and social distancing have ruined all that for me. Even outdoors, you are mandated to wear a mask in my state.
Christmas used to be my favorite time of the year. Not so much now.
Plus, my family has disowned me because I will not take the shot. No contact is allowed. Guess I'll save on gifts this year.

But selling from pictures doesn't work well for me. And shipping is too expensive for most things.
I want to sell/trade hands on, person to person.
If my internet holds out, I will be here!
Moving would wipe out all my saving. There there is a long waiting list for a uhaul that cost it's wait in gold here. I have equipment, supplies, stock I can't leave behind.
Plus I want to be close enough to my family in case they do need me. I still care even if they can't.
Trading will be a way of the future.
I have recently changed my view from "whether I want the item for trade or not" to "if I can trade it for something I do want"
But I love to send and receive real cards. It is a lost part of our culture that raises our spirits.
