The Christian religion (based on Judaism) literally worships the torture and execution of an innocent man to maintain the power of the Establishment.
Why do you believe there is a difference. Which came first? Jesus was a Jew, as were his apostles. The OT is the Jewish Tanakh. The NT was written by Rome, JeRome based on the writings of the Jew who became Roman Royalty, Flavius Josephus. Josephus crafted the the Jewish Messiah narratives into a victory narrative for the Roman Pagans. JeRome blended the pagan rituals with the Jewish fiction and created Catholicism. This standardized religion was used to cement the Emporer on the throne of the Empire and to suppress all rebellious practices. All current versions of christianity derive from the original Roman creation.

If you're supposed to render unto Caesar what is Caesar's, and render unto God what is God's, then why did the Jews have to bring Caesar's money into God's Temple to pay for their sins?
The whipping of the money changers was the Roman authorities blow against the power of the Jewish temples. The people were still expected to pay their "taxes" to the Emporer, but the Temples were competing with that power with their "sin taxes" aka sacrifices aka repentance.
