Everyone is talking about what happens if Kyle is acquitted, but what happens if the jury convicts? Do the Patriotic, freedom loving Americans finally say enough is enough?
I only mention this because it looks like the defense is fucking this thing up. They've been terrible throughout.
They are rigging this to convict. It's all by design. They want Kyle to be an example to all Patriotic Americans who try to protect themselves against the communist insurgents, that this is what will happen if you do.
I think under normal circumstances, the jury wouldn't think of convicting. But when you factor in threats to them, they might use this as a convenient excuse to render a guilty verdict, just to save their own asses.
