However with terminal velocity of the 55 grain standard FMJ's you get better expansion, and better penetration at closer ranges due to velocity.
55gr FMJ will punch through steel plates at 100 yards and the 62gr M855 green tips will bounce off.
Or just save yourself the trouble and get a real battle rifle.
The green tips are also SHIT for accuracy because every steel core is slightly different inside each round, which creates instabilities while it's flying.
