All factories owned by the gov't - totally inefficient, mandatory pay, backlogged supply chain, etc bc the central planners had no idea what was really going on on any shop floor.
In the new communism it's simply the other way around - corporations own the whole government, and not just in one country but anywhere they do business. Yes, there are competitors so that's a little different, but how long will that last?
Their inefficiencies will mean grain rots in shipping containers offshore instead of in farms in the North. People still starve.
What's worse about this form of communism, however, is that we are pretending it isn't real so we have the voting charade, which causes cognitive dissonance and a sense of hopelessness.
