THIS anon grew up in PA were there were NO earthquakes. we did the duck under the desk bit as part of regular air-raid drills. OBVIOUSLY it would be pointless at ground zero, but from 20-100 miles away, the primary initial damage would be from the hypersonic shockwaves. getting under the desk was to offer protection in case the ceiling/roof fell in. all you other young tards making fun of what we did based on your IDIOTIC assumptions of what the rationale was only expose your own stupidity and arrogance.
