Aimee Jones, 35, has been jailed for eight months at Teesside Crown Court today

She had admitted four counts of sexually touching a girl aged between 13 and 17

Court told Jones was in relationship with female which started when she was 15

 

A 'meek and mild' maths teacher was jailed today for a sexual affair with a 15-year-old girl behind the back of her social worker husband.

 

Aimee Jones, 35, first approached the girl when she was 15 years old and, in messages, told her that she had a sexual attraction to her.

 

This sparked a 15-month relationship that turned sexual when the girl turned 16.

 

Teesside Crown Court was told the pair had met for sexual trysts in Jones' car and in Hardwick Park, Sedgefield, County Durham.

 

Prosecutors said they held hands in the park and then touched each other sexually in Jones' car.

 

Covered by a blanket they stripped to the waist and kissed and touched each other, the court was told.

 

In order to avoid detection, Jones invented an adult female lover, who she said was a colleague at her school, to throw husband Philip off the scent.

 

Jones, head of science and maths at her school in Darlington, County Durham, urged colleagues to lie to Philip if asked and back up her story that she was cheating with a fictitious teaching assistant called Sarah Martin.

Holy Cow, Belarus just backed down. CNN has a reporter on the ground with the invaders from the middle east. Poland army brought out the water cannons today. The CNN got a blast of water himself. Firing water canons when the temp is near freezing and will go into the mid 20's tonight was enough for those thousands of invaders. Belarus took them a mile or more back and is giving them indoor sleeping, food and medical attention.

Now bosses at CERT UK say Lowry will be able to continue his work with charity

 

A charity director and failed UKIP candidate who admitted to paying a 16-year-old girl for sex has been allowed to continue in his public role.

 

Ken Lowry, 48, who is a director and trustee of the national CERT UK charity, and also runs his own company called Homeless Birmingham, admitted to a charge of 'paying for sex with a child' in December last year.

 

The court appearance came just weeks after the former soldier was nominated for a Lord Mayor's special recognition for helping those living on the streets during the pandemic.

 

However charity chiefs have revealed they are standing by Lowry, so he can 'continue the amazing good work that he's done in Birmingham'. Bosses at CERT UK say safeguarding measures have been put in place.

 

It comes as Lowry's victim, now 17, said she was 'vulnerable and mentally unstable' when she agreed to have sex with Lowry for Β£120.

 

She say the charity boss had sex with her while her own relative, who 'wanted the money to go to a party', sat and watched.

 

Lowry was later charged with an offence of 'having sex with a child' - which can carry a maximum five year sentence.

 

Though the girl was over the legal age of consent at the time, she was under the age of 18 - the legal age for sex work.

 

Lowry told a court he had met the girl on Craigslist - an online classified adverts website - after posting a request for sexual services and that he 'believed' his victim to be over the age of 18.

 

In February, Lowry, from Rubery, was sentenced to a two-year community order and 40 days rehabilitation order and was also ordered to serve a month's curfew.

 

His victim, now 17, has now spoken out because of what she sees as a 'lenient sentence'.

The CDC announced in July that there were 93,331 overdose deaths in the US in 2020.

 

Provisional data from CDC’s National Center for Health Statistics indicate that there were an estimated 93,331 drug overdose deaths in the United States during 2020, an increase of 29.4% from the 72,151 deaths predicted in 2019.

 

The data features an interactive web data visualization. The new data documents that estimated overdose deaths from opioids increased from 50,963 in 2019 to 69,710 in 2020. Overdose deaths from synthetic opioids (primarily fentanyl) and psychostimulants such as methamphetamine also increased in 2020 compared to 2019. Cocaine deaths also increased in 2020, as did deaths from natural and semi-synthetic opioids (such as prescription pain medication).

 

Also in 2020, for the tenth year in a row, there were no deaths due to global warming. ZERO. Not a single death. And yet this is what the media and Democrats want you to believe is the greatest existential threat facing the country.

My name is Chris Torres, and I'm MoveOn's political director. I'm responsible for planning and overseeing the work we do to win elections, and unfortunately, I'm writing to you today because I am really worried about what could happen across the country next year.

 

The first wave of new congressional maps have just been released, and they are more distorted, biased, and gerrymandered than any congressional maps since the passage of the Voting Rights Act in 1965, according to The New York Times. These first maps aloneβ€”all drawn by Republicansβ€”are likely to gain Republicans five seats in the House, enough to flip the majority in the chamber next year.

 

There is no sugarcoating that newsβ€”but we can still win, and I'll tell you why.

 

The GOP is so focused on manipulating their districts and passing racist voter suppression laws because they know that cheating is the only way they can win, and, more importantly, they know that if Democrats organize and show up, they don't stand a chance.

 

That's our challenge and our opportunity. If we can build the infrastructure to inspire and energize voters, we really can defy history and winβ€”just as we did in 2020.

 

But at this moment, MoveOn is facing a major problem: Grassroots donations from our members have dropped sharply, and we are facing a big budget shortfall this monthβ€”at the same time that I am working with my colleagues to make critical decisions about what our elections program will look like in 2022. If we can't close the gap, we will not have the resources to run the campaign we need in order to win.

It's not just MoveOn. Across the board, Republicans are far outpacing Democrats when it comes to fundraising in preparation for 2022.

 

Why is that? One big reason is that many major Republican donors who publicly announced in the wake of the January 6 attack that they would no longer donate to the GOP have quietly gone back on their word and are shoveling money into the coffers of the RNC, dark-money PACs, and directly to members of Congress who supported the white supremacist insurrection.

 

That is what the Republican Party has become: corrupt enough to support anything, even overthrowing our democracy, if it means they gain power.

 

I won't let them get away with it. And I know you won't either.

 

So I need your help, Anon. Even though MoveOn doesn't need to match GOP fundraising dollar for dollar (we've always been far too creative to let that stop us!), we can't afford to continue falling as far behind as we are today.

Homeland Security Secretary Alejandro Mayorkas on Tuesday claimed not to be familiar with one of the Democratic Party's favorite immigration talking points regarding children held in "cages" at the U.S. border with Mexico.

 

"How many children have been in the Biden cages in calendar year 2021?" Sen. Ted Cruz (R., Texas) asked Mayorkas during a Senate Judiciary Committee hearing.

 

"Senator, I respectfully disagree with your use of the term β€˜cages,'" Mayorkas responded.

 

Cruz was referencing the "kids in cages" talking point, which Democratic politicians relentlessly repeated during the Trump administration to describe the Obama-era practice of detaining immigrant children in cage-like structures while their parents were processed by the legal system. The practice has continued under President Joe Biden, despite his pledge to end it, as illegal immigration has surged to record levels on his watch.

 

"Fine, you can disagree with it," Cruz said. "I've been to the Biden cages, I've seen the Biden cages. How many children have you detained at the Donna [Texas] tent facility in the cages you built to hold kids? How many children have been in those cages?"

 

Mayorkas insisted that he not only disagreed with the term, he also didn't know what it meant. "I, respectfully, am not familiar with the term β€˜cages' and to what you are referring," he said.

School places professor on leave after controversial interview defending 'minor-attracted persons'

 

The Old Dominion professor wrote a book titled, 'A Long Dark Shadow: Minor-Attracted People and Their Pursuit of Dignity'

 

Old Dominion University announced it had put a professor on leave following comments attempting to normalize the phrase "minor-attracted persons."

 

"Old Dominion University has placed Dr. Allyn Walker on administrative leave, effective immediately, from their position as assistant professor of sociology and criminal justice," Amber Kennedy, a spokesperson for the university, said in a statement on Tuesday evening.

 

"Reactions to Dr. Walker’s research and book have led to concerns for their safety and that of the campus," Kennedy added. "Furthermore, the controversy over Dr. Walker’s research has disrupted the campus and community environment and is interfering with the institution’s mission of teaching and learning."

 

The university president also released a statement condemning child sexual abuse.

 

"I want to state in the strongest terms possible that child sexual abuse is morally wrong and has no place in our society," ODU President Brian O. Hemphill said. "This is a challenging time for our University, but I am confident that we will come together and move forward as a Monarch family."

 

The leave announcement followed an earlier statement in which the university said it does not "promote crimes against children."

 

"Following recent social media activity and direct outreach to the institution, it is important to share that Old Dominion, as a caring and inclusive community, does not endorse or promote crimes against children or any form of criminal activity," the Virginia university said.

 

"I want to be clear: child sexual abuse is an inexcusable crime. As an assistant professor of sociology and criminal justice, the goal of my research is to prevent crime. My work is informed by my past experience and advocacy as a social worker counseling victims. This whole thing is an interesting story. Been researching it a bit. A year ago we had that incident where a Russian satellite was 'maneuvering' close to one of our own. Reported by Space Force. On Nov. 11 the ISS had to maneuver to avoid some debris from a Chinese satellite that was blown up a few years back.

 

Just days later, probably Nov. 14, Kosmos1408 has been pretty much confirmed as shot down by Russian ground-launched ASAT. Kosmos was en ELINT satellite, supposedly dead. But it was in a semi-polar orbit not that much higher than ISS. Meaning the explosion debris field is at nearly right angles in its own orbit, making a pretty dangerous situation for the ISS passing through it every 93 minutes. The Russians obviously know this, and their own Roscom astronauts are on the ISS….so WTF?

 

In March a piece of Russian debris hit a Chinese satellite. It does not take much imagination to think we are not being told everything here. I'm imagining a kind of slow kinetic war overhead. For now, the targeting is being made to look accidental or circumstantial. This latest shoot down raises serious questions to me though.

It feels like a mad scramble by command after a perfectly planned clock-work op targeting a cherry turned into an epic Goatfuck, and they needed to hide everything until they could figure out how how bad it was, and how they needed to handle it. After Kyle cleaned house, and command gave the order to shut down the riot and send everyone home right after it (why did the shooting not invigorate the crowd to riot even worse?), I will bet there were upwards of a dozen seasoned, high ranking intel professionals gathered in a conference room somewhere shitting bricks, grabbing all the video they could, and trying to figure out how they would keep this epic Goatfuck from blowing stratospheric. I would not be surprised at one point one said, β€œWell, at least tell me this little shit killed a black guy, so we have something to work with!”

 

All of that fits together far better as coordinated intel activity, than it does as a random series of events, and odd coincidences, which left Kyle all alone, in the middle of the mob, under attack, with multiple aviation over him.

 

Also interesting – Police Bodycam video shows Gaige Grosskreutz get arrested for DUI some time after the shooting. No need to watch the whole thing as I will summarize. I saw the full video on 4CHan with body-video from two different cops, including the friend of Gaige getting cut loose after everything was over, and it was interesting. The cops were super cool to these guys when Gaige was stopped for not signaling, I almost think he could have walked with no ticket if he had been decent. If a cop stopped me for not using a turn signal, five minutes and I am out of there, ticket or not, and the cop and I will be cool after it. These guys make a big deal about being afraid the cops are about to shoot them, despite that clearly not being even a remote possibility. Then Gaige decides he will not say anything, and will just look ahead as the cop asks him questions. Then Gaige will not reach back to the seat behind him for his ID, which gets him pulled out of the car, at which point he breathes alcohol breath on the cop, and then refuses to do a sobriety test. SO then the cop needs to arrest him and get a blood draw. The friend fucks with the cops for a bit while waiting on the curb, accusing them of being afraid of him, and then leaves, saying β€œOink Oink!” After the encounter, one cops sounds confused, asking his buddy something like, β€œWhat the fuck is up with people these days?” So these cops were seeing that type of thing a lot. Suppose Cabal asked these cops to pull these guys over, as part of a psyop. Suppose the cops thought they were stopping a couple of potential problems to check them out for whoever Cabal intel was larping as, but the real purpose was for these two to act like dicks, and poison these cops against the civilian population, by making them feel under siege from a population which hates and fears them. These two do their thing, and then Cabal knocks down the DUI charge (as they did), so for Gaige, it is like it never happened. Meanwhile those cops feel like there is a decent segment of the population who views them as deranged madmen about to kill people wantonly, and just hates them generally. The 6th Circuit Court of Appeals has won the lottery to hear legal challenges to the Biden administration's vaccine rule that affects some 84 million workers.

The lottery was announced after multiple lawsuits against the administration were filed in several federal appeals courts. In a process resembling a Powerball drawing, a dozen ping pong balls, each representing one court, were placed into a wooden drum on Tuesday. The winning ball was drawn in Washington, D.C., by a selector from a judicial panel that oversees multidistrict litigation.

 

The Biden administration rule was formally issued on Nov. 5 by the Occupational Safety and Health Administration. It requires employers with 100 or more workers to ensure their workers are vaccinated against COVID-19 or undergo weekly testing starting Jan. 4.

 

Lawsuits were filed in all 12 regional circuit courts

Lawsuits challenging the rule came in quick succession. Within 10 days, 34 lawsuits were filed, covering all 12 regional circuit courts and giving each of those courts one entry into the lottery.

 

The 6th Circuit Court of Appeals, based in Cincinnati, Ohio, is known to lean conservative, with most of its judges appointed by Republican presidents. Six were appointed by President Donald Trump and five were appointed by President George W. Bush, while a total of five were appointed by Democratic Presidents Bill Clinton and Barack Obama.

 

It will now be up to the 6th Circuit to decide whether to lift the stay issued by the 5th Circuit. A three-judge panel temporarily blocked the OSHA rule one day after it took effect and reaffirmed that decision last Friday, calling the rule "a one-size-fits-all sledgehammer that makes hardly any attempt to account for differences in workplaces (and workers)."

 

"All else equal, a 28 year-old trucker spending the bulk of his workday in the solitude of his cab is simply less vulnerable to COVID-19 than a 62 year-old prison janitor," wrote Judge Kurt D. Engelhardt. "Likewise, a naturally immune unvaccinated worker is presumably at less risk than an unvaccinated worker who has never had the virus."

 

The OSHA rule does exempt workers whose jobs do not put them into contact with coworkers or customers, as well as those who work entirely outdoors.

 

Labor unions also sued, but they want more protections

While a majority of the lawsuits seek to overturn the OSHA rule, several labor unions went the other way. They sued saying the rule does not go far enough to protect workers from COVID-19. The rule does not apply to employers with fewer than 100 workers.

 

The union lawsuits were mostly filed in courts that either have a majority of judges appointed by Democratic presidents or are evenly split.

 

OSHA estimates rule could save thousands of lives

The Biden administration has repeatedly asserted that it has the authority to act in an emergency to protect workers facing "grave danger" on the job. Administration officials frequently cite the high death toll from COVID-19 β€” now topping 760,000 in the U.S. alone. OSHA estimates the rule could save some 6,500 lives and prevent 250,000 hospitalizations over a six-month period.

 

The White House is urging companies to prepare to comply with the rule's requirements, which include a Dec. 6 deadline for employers to identify which workers are vaccinated or not, and to enforce a mask mandate.

 

Even if the the 6th Circuit weighs in quickly, it's likely the decision will be appealed and the litigation could continue for some weeks and months.

 

Ultimately, the case could wind up in the Supreme Court.

The venom has long been used in traditional healing rituals but, with the popularity of LSD and ayahuasca among the rich and famous, β€œthe toad” is getting a lot of more attention.

 

Tyson discovered it four years ago. At the time, he was 100 pounds overweight, drinking and drugging. He was sluggish and unhappy. One of his friends suggested he try toad venom, and the athlete loved it.

 

β€œI did it as a dare,” Tyson recalled. β€œI was doing heavy drugs like cocaine, so why not? It’s another dimension. Before I did the toad, I was a wreck. The toughest opponent I ever faced was myself. I had low self-esteem. People with big egos often have low self-esteem. We use our ego to subsidize that. The toad strips the ego.”

 

He’s now tripped toad 53 times β€” sometimes three times in the same day. He said he lost 100 pounds in three months, started boxing again, and reconnected with his wife and children.

 

He’s also become an advocate for psychedelics, evangelizing all over the country.

 

β€œIt has made me more creative and helps me focus,” he said. β€œI’m more present as a businessman and entrepreneur.”

 

Tyson is so into the trippy toad that he has a whole nursery of the amphibians at his ranch in Desert Hot Springs in Southern California. Venom on demand, if you will.

 

β€œPeople see the difference [in me],” he said. β€œIt speaks for itself. If you knew me in 1989 you knew a different person. My mind isn’t sophisticated enough to fathom what happened, but life has improved. The toad’s whole purpose is to reach your highest potential. I look at the world differently. We’re all the same.Everything is love.”

 

Tyson is working on two brands of cannabis β€” including one called β€œUndefeated” β€” with a new team, including entrepreneur Adam Wilks and marijuana heavyweight Columbia Care Inc. His β€œToad” line will not include actual psychedelic venom, but the strain is inspired by his wild experiences with the toad.

 

But with cities like Denver, Detroit and Oakland starting to decriminalize mushrooms, Tyson hopes he will be able to sell the real toad venom soon.

 

To that end, he’s invested in Wesana Health, a biotech company that is using psilocybin as a treatment for traumatic brain injuries.

The defense filed a motion ahead of Monday’s closing arguments asking for a mistrial based on prosecutorial misconduct. The request will be moot if the jury β€” which began deliberations at 9:15 a.m. local time β€” acquits Rittenhouse of the five felony charges against him, so it appears the judge will not address the issue until after deliberations.

 

Eighteen jurors listened to the case, though only 12 have been tapped to reach a verdict. Before deliberations began, Rittenhouse on Tuesday pulled six numbers from an old-fashioned lottery tumbler that is original to the 100-year-old courtroom, and those six people were designated as alternates.

 

The deliberating panel includes seven women and five men. The jurors did not identify themselves by race, but the jury appears to be predominantly white.

 

The mistrial motion rehashes an issue that arose last week when the judge berated an assistant district attorney for ignoring a pretrial order that barred the jury from hearing certain evidence and for infringing on Rittenhouse’s right to remain silent upon his arrest. It also levels a new accusation at prosecutors, accusing them of not properly sharing a piece of video evidence.

 

There has been no mention of the defense motion in court since it was filed.

In its seven-page motion for a mistrial, the defense accused the prosecution of providing a drone recording at a lower-resolution than the one the state possesses and showed to the jury. The state has argued the drone recording, which was received after the trial had begun, is key to proving Rittenhouse provoked the shootings by first pointing his gun at a bystander.

 

Prosecutors say Rosenbaum chased Rittenhouse across a used car lot before the teen turned and shot him four times with an AR-15-style rifle.

 

β€œThe video footage has been at the center of this case,” the defense motion states. β€œThe failure to provide the same quality footage in this particular case is intentional and clearly prejudices the defendant.”

Joseph Rosenbaum β€” depressed, homeless and alone . . . had spent most of his adult life in prison for sexual conduct with children when he was 18 and struggled with bipolar disorder. That day, Aug. 25, Rosenbaum was discharged from a Milwaukee hospital following his second suicide attempt in as many months and dumped on the streets of Kenosha. . . .

Hours after he was released from the hospital, Rosenbaum stopped by a pharmacy in Kenosha to pick up medication for his bipolar disorder, only to discover that it had closed early because of the unrest.

He visited his fiancee, who was living in a cheap motel room, but she told him he couldn’t stay the night. She had pressed charges against him a month earlier after a fight in which he knocked her down and bloodied her mouth. If Rosenbaum violated his no-contact order, she warned, he could be sent back to jail. . . .

The weeks leading up to Rosenbaum’s death had been as chaotic as his life. Raised in Texas and Arizona, Rosenbaum met his father only twice and told his mother that he was molested by his alcoholic stepfather β€œon an almost daily basis,” according to court documents.

When he was 13 his mother was sent to prison for two years, and Rosenbaum was sent off to a group home, where he began using heroin and methamphetamine, according to court documents. By 18, he was in prison for sexual conduct with five preteen boys, the children of people who had taken him in after his mother told him to leave her house, according to a presentencing report. He spent most of the next 14 years behind bars.

Not long after he was released in 2016, he met a woman in Arizona and fathered a child, but the relationship didn’t last. When the woman fled to Kenosha, Rosenbaum chased her. . . .

[In December 2019] he and his new fiancee, whom he met in a Wisconsin hospital, were braving the winter in a tent they had pitched in an overgrown lot behind an abandoned department store. . . .

They spent their days at nearby fast-food restaurants where the staff sometimes gave them free meals. At night Rosenbaum, his fiancee and her cat huddled under piles of blankets. β€œWe lived off of each other’s body heat,” she said.

In the spring, the police confiscated their tent, so they slept for a while behind dumpsters in town. Eventually, the county’s social services department helped them get a room at a cut-rate motel . . .

Aside from one supervised visit, he never saw the child for whom he had moved to Kenosha. In June, he attempted suicide by overdosing on pills. A month later, his fiancee confronted him after finding pornography on his phone. Rosenbaum body-slammed her, according to police, who took him to jail and then released him.

One week later, Rosenbaum called a suicide crisis line. Police found him vomiting and having convulsions outside a McDonald’s. He spent a few days in the hospital followed by a few more days in jail for violating the no-contact order with his former girlfriend. Then he was sent for more treatment to the mental hospital in Milwaukee.

Two hours before he was killed, Rosenbaum left his fiancee’s motel room and caught a bus for downtown, where a second night of protests had erupted.
