Hey anons was wondering if anyone can help me with something especially from a Dentistfag. About a month ago I got some dental fillings after about 10 years of avoiding the dentist and all I can taste in my mouth ever since is this powerful chemical taste that's way more noticeable in the morning or after long bouts of fasting.

Did I just chemically assassinate myself by unknowingly allowing my dentist to use cheap plastic filler from China or do my fillings need to be hardened more with that blue light gadget thingy they use?

Don't know who else to ask and I only really trust anons.

It's not metallic, tastes exactly like what the plastic filler smells and tastes like when the dentist initially puts it in. Almost like if I rinsed my mouth with melted plastic.

I only had fillings done for my rotting front teeth, I would have lost my teeth otherwise and had bad pain from years of dental neglect. So they have ceramic fillings then?

Fuck I hope I'm not poisoning the fuck out of myself now… I won't be able to afford getting these fillings removed and getting new ceramic ones for at least a year. Should have asked before going. Didn't think dentists were this retarded.

Wasn't a dead tooth, the enamels on my front teeth were rotting so the nerve was being exposed. I have no pain, just a chemical plastic-y taste in my mouth as I mentioned that hasn't gone away for a month. Just worried if something from the filler is leeching into my body that might disturb my endocrine system later on.

I had my mercury fillings removed a while back when I stumbled down that rabbit hole but never had this toxic taste in my mouth with the filler they used to replace it.

Anyways still learned a lot here so thanks for the advice on ceramic fillers and no root canals.

I forgot to mention I needed like 4 shots in total of anesthesia during the work and maybe that gunk is still leaving my system and that's what the taste is. Could be a covert way to vaccinate people too. Most dentists are probably getting their chemicals from China so who knows what's in them. This is why I avoided dentists in the first place, damn I guess low-key appeased in my own way…

Thanks for confirming I assassinated myself with that dentist visit. My teeth were insanely sensitive without the anesthesia. They say the smarter you are the more pain you feel because of the increase in nerve endings or something like that. :-)

I'm already taking a lot of supplements and do a lot of cardio to sweat things out. I'm being dramatic because I really hate using synthetic chemicals at the dentist and my deepest worries ended up happening I'm just upset with myself I didn't take care of my teeth when I took care of everything else.
