Made a mistake there. A Gold:Silver ratio of 1:17 would mean Gold=$100,000/oz, (17x silver) so 10 troy ounces for $1mm, not 17.

If history has told me the purpose of/how this movie works, then yeah, I wouldn't expect the outcome we want, especially not with that judge, and being offered the promotion by Joe Biden that she (I guess) is. Getting the result we think we want out of those combined circumstances would seem to defeat the purpose of the awakening this movie seems to generally be tasked with achieving. I know GOD WINS, I know Good has already triumphed over evil and has yet to visually play out, but I don't see how all of a sudden the court system is going to work in this case and we all live happily ever after, thinking "Alas, the system DOES WORK after all." I don't know HOW this is all going to go, but I just don't see it going THAT way. But maybe. The "system worked" in the Kyle Rittenhouse case, I guess… to whatever extent any of that was organic or real.
