German euthanasia clinics refusing unvaccinated customers

Irony has been declared many times in this pandemic but now, from Covid-riddled Germany comes the final proof: you can't kill yourself now unless you've been vaccinated.

As European countries battle to limit the spread of the virus, Verein Sterbehilfe – the German Euthanasia Association – has issued a new directive, declaring it will now only help those who have been vaccinated or recovered from the disease. In a statement, the association said:

“Euthanasia and the preparatory examination of the voluntary responsibility of our members willing to die require human closeness. Human closeness, however, is a prerequisite and breeding ground for coronavirus transmission. As of today, the 2G rule applies in our association, supplemented by situation-related measures, such as quick tests before encounters in closed rooms.

'Close encounters in closed rooms'– what a fabulous German euphemism for assisted suicide. The term '2G' meanwhile refers to a system which only allows free movement for leisure activities for the geimpft oder genese— 'vaccinated or recovered.'

Why do people engage in such a collective delusion?

- induce loyalty conflicts, create situs where it impossible to choose (e.g., must choose between our health and our work).

- harm the other - this is seen as necessary- in the name of a delusional and unreachable ideal (eradication of virus) - becomes the sacrifice of some citizens (possible bc the individual is no longer seen as an individual)

- delusional hypochondria (Reiner: message must be driven home in a threatening way? calmness won't work?)

Mistrust is necessary - mistrust of all against all.

Answer - it's linked to plots of the paranoic individuals in power who (felling persecuted) persecute others.

Under TTL, many people are going to REGRESS - and do things they never would do during normal times (both because IT IS ALLOWED and bc they experience DEEP ANGUISH). You are right. Was also a mystery to people in the West. Why's Koestler's Darkness at Noon was a bestseller - explained how it worked (the psychological techniques of no sleep, isolation, etc). It was so realistic bc he got a real-life account from a friend who was imprisoned.
