There certainly was a huge element of that involved for sure.

But, he never was an accurate passer even in college at Florida it was his running ability that was what made him exceptional.

So, kinda like Kaepernick, there was legit plausible deniability they could point to.

Yes, indirectly.

The usual mouthpieces (think Adam Schefter et al) at the time were always running "internal whispers" about how his teammates were always annoyed by his overt religiosity.

Which then became a running storyline that followed Tebow throughout his short NFL career.

Many such cases of how the NFL powers that be use MSM narratives to run people they don't like out of the game.

Antonio Brown (now a WR for TB) is the most recent example.

Think he (+ 4 kinda nobodies) are the only ones they know used fake vaxx cards?

An even better 2021 example:

John Gruden.

All those Washington Football Team emails and he was the only one that the PC police found violating the rules of decorum?

In a sport filled with High-T big egos that like to run their mouths?

The rumors are all over the place, but basically comes down to 2 main themes:

  • Gruden made an enemy out of Commissioner Roger Goodell with past criticisms

  • The NFL never skips a chance to screw over the Raiders

Gruden is suing them, but they'll prolly settle out of court meaning the public will never know the real story.
