For those who are unaware, there is a death match occurring between AMC and GME retail investors and multiple hedge funds, the primary offender being Citadel securities run by Ken Griffin. Citadel appears to have naked shorted multiple companies to an unknown degree but the SEC has confirmed GME at >100%. The fact that Biden's security detail head is going to head Citadel's security is far more than a coincidence. There is some expectation that the failure of Evergrande is the first visible domino that will result in a significant market correction or possibly the end of the world financial markets. It is that significant. Shorting a company >100% opens the door to infinite losses and Citadel has recently added measures to reduce the ability of investors to remove their money from their funds.
