Smollett’s Defense Attorney Says He Will Appeal Guilty Verdict, Claims ‘Empire’ Actor is “100% Innocent”

A verdict was reached in the Jussie Smollett hate hoax trial on Thursday evening.

Smollett was found guilty on 5 charges of disorderly conduct – one count for each time he lied to police following the hoax ‘attack.’

Smollett was found not guilty on a 6th count of lying to a detective.

Defense attorney Nenye Uche said he will appeal the guilty verdict.

“Unfortunately we were facing an uphill battle where Jussie was already tried and convicted in the media and then we had to somehow get the jury to forget or unsee all the news stories that they had been hearing that were negative for the last three years,” Uche told reporters in front of the courthouse.

“We feel 100% confident that this case will be won on appeal,” he added claiming the jury’s split verdict was “inconsistent.”

The Gateway Pundit immediately pegged this ‘racist, homophobic’ attack against Smollett as a hate hoax in January 2019.

Smollett laughably claimed two ‘white men’ ambushed him at 2 am in 20 degree weather in downtown Chicago while screaming “This is MAGA country!”

The ‘Empire’ actor said the attackers poured bleach on him and put a noose around his neck while verbally abusing him with homophobic and racial slurs.

It turns out Jussie Smollett paid two Nigerian brothers over $3,000 to help him pull off the “MAGA Country” hate hoax crime.

In previously released footage, the Osundairo brothers are seen purchasing all of the supplies for the hate hoax such as red hats, rope and bleach.

Despite all of the evidence presented in the court proving Smollett recruited the Nigerians to help him with this hate hoax, the ‘Empire’ actor lied to the court for hours and claimed he was a victim of a real crime.

Abused Senate Staffer Talonya Adams Calls on Arizona Secretary Of State and Gubernatorial Candidate Katie Hobbs “RESIGN from Office – DROP OUT Of The Race For Governor”

Talonya Adams was recently awarded a $2.75 million by a jury after facing racial discrimination from Arizona Secretary of State Katie Hobbs.

Adams, a former Democratic staffer in the Arizona Senate, was fired by Katie Hobbs in 2015. A jury later ruled that Hobbs was guilty of racial and sexual discrimination, costing the state millions in damages.

She made it clear this morning, that Katie Hobbs’ awkward public apology issued on Wednesday, was not enough to repair the damage caused to her and her family.

On Thursday, Adams held an independent press conference to respond to Hobbs’ weak public apology.

She held her own press conference outside of the same courthouse where she represented herself against the Arizona Senate, and won.

Hobbs was the Democratic frontrunner for Governor of Arizona before this court ruling but things are starting to look different for her.

The Gateway Pundit reported on Hobbs’ forced apology to Adams after Adams was awarded $2.75 million in damages and Adams’ planned press release in response.

In Hobbs’ official printed response, she couldn’t even bother to write the correct name.

12 News’ Joe Dana said that this response “could help or hurt Hobbs” chances at the Democratic nomination for Governor, before the presser.

When Conradson told Adams what a great press conference she held at the end, Dana said “what the f*ck” out loud.

Liberal media outlets did their best to discredit Adams and lay cover for Katie Hobbs with their questions.

Israel Not Expected to Join ‘Bizarre’ U.S. Boycott of Winter Olympics in China

The comment by a senior Israeli official follows an announcement by the Biden administration that it will refrain from sending a political delegation to the games in Beijing in protest at China’s human rights record

Israel is not expected to join the U.S.-led diplomatic boycott of the Winter Olympics in China next year, a senior Israeli official told Haaretz on Tuesday. The official described the diplomatic boycott of the games as “bizarre” and added sarcastically that “Israel’s snow sledding team is already warming up on the sidelines.”

This week, the White House announced that no American government officials would attend the games in Beijing next year, including the opening and closing ceremonies, in protest at China’s human rights record.

The American boycott of the games, which will be taking place in February, does not include athletes on the U.S. team. It is more of a diplomatic snub that will not have an impact on the sporting events themselves. It's not clear if the U.S. has asked its close allies, including Israel, to take a similar step.

At 3:53 of the Thomas Renz video linked below, he reveals raw data from the Medicare servers, “CMS servers.” 18.1% of Americans are on Medicare, or 59.4 million people.

48,465 people over the age of 80 died within 14 days or their first or second dose. “This is raw data,” says Renz. “Raw. There’s no analysis.” He goes on the remind us of the insult-to-injury fact that the system rigged it such that if a person dies within 2 weeks of a a ‘vaccine,’ they are counted as unvaccinated.

More raw data: Of those patients given Remdesivir, 25.9 % died. More than a quarter. Of those, 46% died within 14 days of treatment. This is what Fauci considers a “life-saving treatment.”

Biden promises more ‘military capabilities’ on eastern NATO flank – official

Joe Biden has pledged “additional military capabilities” for NATO’s easternmost members, Lithuania’s presidential advisor has claimed after talks between the US president and regional leaders.

The US president held phone talks with the leaders of the Bucharest Nine group on Thursday. The organization brings together eastern European countries, including Poland, the Czech Republic, Slovakia, Estonia, Hungary, Latvia, Lithuania, Romania and Bulgaria.

During the talks, that lasted some 45 minutes, the US leader pledged “additional military capabilities” for the region’s NATO members, Asta Skaisgiryte, foreign policy adviser for Lithuania’s president, told reporters.

“He said additional reassurance elements are possible in these countries, and additional military capabilities,” the official said, adding that the US leader has not elaborated on a possible location or exact details on the additional NATO military buildup.

“No country was specifically named. However, it can be understood that it is in the eastern flank of NATO,” she stated.

The US president also briefed the Bucharest Nine leaders on his talks with Russian President Vladimir Putin, that largely revolved around Ukraine. Biden also assured the region’s leaders that he would never make any deals involving the eastern European countries behind their backs, according to Skaisgiryte.

The US president told the leaders that “nothing has been said about you without you,” the official added.

Washington, however, has not shed any light on the potential “additional military capabilities” for NATO’s eastern members so far. The White House released a brief readout of the talks, stating only that Biden underscored the US “commitment to Transatlantic security and our sacred commitment to NATO’s Article 5” during the meeting.

Personal details of up to 80,000 SA Government employees accessed in cyber attack

The South Australian government says the personal details of tens of thousands of employees, including potentially the Premier, have been accessed in a cyber-attack.

The government said the records of at least 38,000 employees, but potentially up to 80,000 workers, have been accessed in a cyber-attack on external payroll software provider Frontier Software.

The data includes names, dates of birth, tax file numbers, home addresses, bank account details, remuneration and superannuation contributions.

It said Frontier, which has provided payroll services to the government since 2001, was the victim of a "ransomware cyber attack" and the information was stolen and "published on the dark web".

Treasurer Rob Lucas said politicians, including Premier Steven Marshall, could be among those affected.

"The highest of the high to the lowest of the low and all of the rest of us in between are potentially impacted, with the exception of teachers and the Department for Education," he said.

The Department for Education does not use Frontier.

Mr Lucas said the theft was being investigated and staff have been offered support.

"This is obviously of great concern to the government," he said.

Mr Lucas said the government was first told on Wednesday evening that state government data had been accessed, but it was confirmed yesterday afternoon that the breach involved employees' personal information.

"We've acted expeditiously," he said.

"As soon as we've been able to get information together, provide accurate information to our employees, we've done so."

Paedophile priest Anthony Caruana sentenced to 15 years in prison for abusing 12 Chevalier College students

Paedophile priest Anthony William Peter Caruana has been sentenced to 15 years in prison for abusing schoolboys as young as 12.

Caruana, now 80, abused his position as teacher, bandmaster, rugby coach and dorm master in the 1980s

The court heard Capuana's lies and manipulation extended to the parents of his victims

Judge Tupman said his minimum 10-year jail term was likely to be "onerous"

The abuse occurred between 1982 and 1989 while the now 80-year-old was a teacher at Chevalier College, a boys' school at Burradoo in the NSW Southern Highlands.

In July, Caruana was convicted of 26 offences against 12 students, including 22 counts of indecent assault and four counts of sexual intercourse with a pupil.

In her sentencing remarks today, NSW District Court Judge Robyn Tupman said Caruana abused his position of authority to carry out his crimes.

"Each of the offences was committed in circumstances where the offender had a special duty to each of these young boys over and above that which every adult owes to every child," she said.

"Each of them involves a breach of trust towards these children."

"These boys were entrusted to the school and the care of teachers and priests like this offender, and he abused that trust by sexually assaulting them as he did."
