You used the word "sauce" and so I will assume you pride yourself in being able to dig for the truth. Your mission, a simple one, really, is to find the seminal, peer-reviewed, published scientific paper that claims to have isolated a particular THING (viral entity) from a sick animal showing symptoms of rabies and placing that isolated & purified THING into a healthy animal who then developed symptoms of rabies.

At best you will only find experiments that did not reproduce rabies by exposure to, or injection with, a biological microbe. All they ever show are the deaths of living monkey kidney cells (vero cells) in a petri dish and blaming those deaths on a THING they have failed to isolate & purify all on its own.
If someone in a crowd shoots & kills someone else, do you arrest & convict the whole crowd? Or do you separate the exact shooter from the rest of the crowd? If you don't separate the shooter from the crowd, how do you know you have the right person?
If you a have a petri dish containing monkey kidney cells, bovine serum, antibiotics, and bodily fluid from a sick creature there's alot of different DNA and genetic strands in that stew lots of particles and wiggly-squiggly THINGS, how do you know which one is the "virus", the culprit, unless you isolate it?
The virologists CHANGED THE DEFINITION OF ISOLATION to simply mean cytopathic effects (deaths of cells in petri dish). Their definition no longer means "to separate from all other things/stuff".

Rabies does not exist. No parasite causes rabies.
Find the paper that claims it proved rabies was caused by a parasite. Compare the claim to Koch's Postulates.
No healthy animal was given a parasite that caused it to express symptoms of rabies. Killing some vero cells in a petri cell dish RNA experiment does not prove a virus or parasite that causes rabies has been found.
