Vaccinations for children under 12 started last week in much of Europe. The French authorities said on Wednesday that they were making all children 5 to 11 eligible, and a vaccine advisory committee in Britain recommended inoculating children that age who are in certain risk groups.

Recent data from France suggests that unvaccinated children are helping drive the accelerating spread of the virus there. The incidence of infection among children aged 6 to 10 is now twice that for the population as a whole, according to a study published last week by the French health authorities. A similar pattern was seen in Italy, where schoolchildren and young adults account for the majority of recent cases, experts there said.

“Vaccination of children is a necessity,” Prime Minister Jean Castex of France said last month. “It was my 11-year-old daughter who gave me the virus a few weeks ago.”

Massive explosion at ExxonMobil refinery near Houston leaves several injured

Authorities in Texas are saying that a "major industrial accident" occurred in or near an ExxonMobil refinery in Baytown, near Houston on Thursday morning. At least four people are known to be injured at present, and no deaths have yet been reported.

According to KHOU-TV in Houston, the explosion occurred in a part of the refinery that is used for processing gasoline. The explosion caused a massive fire that was witnessed and recorded by local TV news crews and social media users.

‘Home Alone’ star charged with domestic assault for alleged attack on girlfriend

The actor who played Buzz in “Home Alone” has been charged with punching and strangling his girlfriend — allegedly warning her that she’d “die” after she gave away his autograph for free, according to reports.

Devin Ratray, 44, was arrested Wednesday in Oklahoma on a warrant for two charges of domestic assault and battery over the alleged attack while buzzed earlier this month, records show.

He “turned himself in and was processed” before being released on $25,000 bond, cops told Fox News.

The attack allegedly happened earlier this month when the actor — best known for playing Macauley Culkin’s mean older brother in the Christmas classics — was in Oklahoma City on Dec. 8 as a guest at a Pop Christmas Con event.

He downed a bottle of wine and several shots at Mickey Mantle’s Steakhouse, then at least 10 shots at a Coyote Ugly bar, according to an affidavit obtained by KFOR.

He then flipped when two fans approached him in the bar to get his autograph — and his girlfriend gave them two signed autograph cards without asking for money, the affidavit said.

The girlfriend — who was not identified in the reports — left him in the bar and went back to their room in the Hyatt Place Oklahoma City, according to the affidavit.

When he later joined her in the room, he pushed her onto the bed — then held one hand over her mouth while the other pressed down on her throat, the affidavit said.

“This is how you die,” Ratray said as he choked her, according to the police report obtained by KFOR.

That Saudi’s name is Prince Alwaleed Bin Talal Bin Abdulaziz Alsaud,” said Bell in a statement released to the media this morning. “Prince Alwaleed owns more of Twitter than Jack Dorsey.”

“And now the Saudis — along with the rest of the totalitarian Silicon Valley liberals at Twitter — are meddling in America’s elections.”

Bell suggested that double standards, sexism, and rampant racism against blacks are all characteristics that Twitter could have learned from its royal investors.

Twitter did not respond in time for publication when asked for information regarding Bell’s post, nor did they explain why they banned the U.S. House candidate – seemingly in contradiction of their own policies – nor why the ban was made permanent instead of temporary.

Bell, who despite his Twitter ban is in a highly competitive primary contest with establishment-backed Republican Jen Kiggans, is also calling for Twitter to be investigated for election interference, something he has promised to personally champion if elected.

Israeli Companies to be Indicted for Illegally Exporting Cruise Missiles to China: Report

Ten Israelis and three Israeli companies are set to be indicted for illegally exporting cruise missiles to China, according to reports.

The financial department of Israel’s state prosecutor’s office gave notice to the suspects that they would be indicted on serious security offenses after it was found that they exported cruise missiles to China without a permit, The Times of Israel reported.

Israeli drone entrepreneur Ephraim Menashe, founder of the Solar Sky company which manufactures cruise missiles, is accused of brokering a deal with China.

Menashe allegedly hired Tzvika and Ziv Naveh, the owners of a drone company called Innocon, among other unnamed suspects who are accused of producing cruise missiles and their relevant parts. Innocon, established in 2001, develops UAVs for intelligence purposes.

The deal was allegedly mediated by Zion Gazit and Uri Shachar, the owners of a security consulting company, which specializes in consulting between Israeli tech companies and foreign investors.

“The suspects were investigated as part of a large-scale security case in which it was suspected that they manufactured, brokered, and exported cruise missiles for military use, without a permit,” prosecutors said.

The dozens of cruise missiles were exported illegally to China and Menashe received millions of dollars in payment, which he subsequently hid from prosecutors as part of his connections with a foreign company, prosecutors allege, according to The Jerusalem Post.

Menashe and the other suspects “manufactured dozens of cruise missiles and carried out different tests in Israeli territory, endangering people’s lives,” prosecutors said.

The suspects are expected to face charges, including security offenses, weapons offenses, violating the Defense Export Control Law and the Anti Money Laundering Law, among others, and will be summoned to a pre-indictment hearing.

The cruise missiles were not used by the Chinese military, the Post reported, noting that the case is being probed by the Unit of International Crime Investigations in Lahav 433 organization of the Israel Police.

According to WION, Beijing has not commented on the transaction with Israel for cruise missiles.

Menashe was previously investigated in 2006 for attempting to export drones to China without a permit, and the technology involved in the cruise missiles adopt a more advanced version of the technology used in those drones, according to The Times of Israel.

American computer chip maker Intel issued an apology in Chinese text on Thursday for a previous statement in which it urged its Chinese suppliers to not source products from Xinjiang, a region where human rights experts say nearly every manufactured product is guaranteed to have been made by slaves.

The U.S. Congress recently passed the Uyghur Forced Labor Prevention Act – which would become law if President Joe Biden signs it – that would ban imports into America from the Xinjiang region unless a company can provide hard evidence that those products were not made by slaves. While Uyghur groups have welcomed the move, China began shipping its Uyghur slaves nationwide at least since early 2020, suggesting that genocide-fueled slavery is powering an untold number of factories outside the region.

Xinjiang, a western region locals call East Turkistan, is the homeland of the Uyghur ethnic people, who are majority Muslim and have little culturally in common with the dominant Han ethnic group of eastern China. Human rights experts and two successive U.S. governments have concluded that the Chinese Communist Party’s campaign of internment of Uyghurs at concentration camps, family separations, forced sterilizations and abortions, and mass enslavement constitutes genocide.

Intel company officers have also agreed on the record that China is guilty of genocide. Intel apologized on Thursday for seemingly appearing to oppose the genocide.

“We apologize for the trouble caused to our respected Chinese customers, partners and the public,” a statement published in written Chinese text read on Thursday. “Intel is committed to becoming a trusted technology partner and accelerating joint development with China.”

Intel claimed that its statement urging suppliers to avoid East Turkistan caused “many questions and concerns among our cherished Chinese partners, and we deeply regret it.”

The initial statement caused what the Chinese government propaganda newspaper Global Times called a “tsunami of anger” at Intel on Weibo, a Chinese government-controlled social media site. The outlet cited Chinese “netizens,” social media users whose opinions align with the Communist Party, as the source of the alleged anger and warned that China could respond to the statement by elbowing Intel out of its lucrative businesses in the country.

In addition to unnamed “netizens,” Chinese pop star Wang Junkai, a corporate “brand ambassador” for Intel in China, cut ties with the company on Wednesday in defense of the Uyghur genocide.

“In a late-night statement on its Weibo official account, the studio of pop singer Wang Junkai, the brand ambassador for Intel Core, announced Wang’s termination of all partnerships with Intel, effective immediately,” the Global Times reported. “The burgeoning anger has the country’s internet population figuring out ways to rectify wrongdoings, with Wang, the brand ambassador for Intel Core – the chipmaker’s premium CPU series for PCs and laptops – in late May under pressure to ‘unfriend’ Intel.”

The Chinese propaganda newspaper quoted an anonymous alleged “fan” of Wang’s applauding him for being a good “role model” and standing “with the national interest” against condemnations of genocide.

Intel has deep ties to the Chinese government. Intel computer chips are at the core of a widespread surveillance system in East Turkistan used to monitor Uyghur people and repress those that either lack sufficient communist fervor or appear loyal to their Islamic faith or ethnic culture. Intel is also part of the Olympic Partner Program, the most expensive corporate sponsorship available, funding the 2022 Beijing Winter Olympics. Human rights activists and athletes have called for boycotting the Beijing Olympics to protest the ongoing genocide – calls Intel has ignored.

Former President Donald Trump pushed back on Candace Owens after she implied that the coronavirus vaccines are not effective in protecting people against COVID-19.

In an interview with Owens, Trump touted the vaccines’ safety and effectiveness in addition to the fact that they were created in less than a year as he simultaneously disapproved of government vaccination and mask mandates.

“The vaccine is one of the greatest achievements of mankind,” Trump said, adding that without them the pandemic could have reflected the astronomically high death toll of the 1918 Spanish flu. “I came up with three vaccines, all are very, very good … in less than nine months.”

Owens, however, replied that more Americans have died of COVID-19 in 2021 than in 2020, even though the vaccines, which have repeatedly proven to be safe and effective in protecting against hospitalization and death, are widely available.

Trump quickly responded, saying that the higher death toll in 2021 was not due to the vaccine’s alleged ineffectiveness, but just the opposite.

“The vaccine worked, but some people aren’t taking it,” Trump said. “The ones that get very sick and go to the hospital are the ones who don’t take the vaccine,” he continued, adding that receiving the vaccine should be a choice for all to make.

“If you take the vaccine, you’re protected,” Trump said. “The results of the vaccine are very good. And if you do get it, it’s a very minor form. People aren’t dying when they take the vaccine.”

Mr Blair suggested the unvaccinated should not be targeted in a “heavy-handed way” but said that the government should “go after them” in order to “persuade” them to get the vaccine.

The “idiot” comment comes a day after the ‘Tony Blair Institute For Global Change’ published a report saying the UK government should begin preparations for a fourth vaccine, despite Britain being in the middle of the third jab rollout, and the government reporting on the 16th of December that less than half of the population have had the first booster.

Protests as Poland Moves to Restrict Foreign Ownership of Local Media

Following the passing of a law that would restrict foreign ownership of media organisations by the Polish parliament, some Poles gathered to demand President Andrzej Duda veto the bill.

The protests took place in various parts of the country, with a few thousand estimated to have gathered outside of the Polish presidential palace to demand that President Duda veto the bill, which was passed on Friday.

The bill, which bans foreign majority ownership of Polish media companies, primarily affects the television channel TVN24, which is owned by the U.S.-based company Discovery.

Rafal Trzaskowski, Mayor of Warsaw and former rival to Duda for the presidency, spoke at one of the protests on Sunday, alleging “This is not just about one channel. In a moment [there will be] censorship of the Internet, an attempt to extinguish all independent sources of information — but we will not allow that to happen,” according to Reuters.

Broadcaster TVN also released a statement calling on President Duda to veto the legislation, saying: “The attack on media freedom has far-reaching consequences for the future of Polish.”

The broadcaster went on to claim that the move was destroying relations between Poland and the United States.

“We cannot allow this to happen! We need strong, trust-based cooperation with international partners,” they asserted.

TVN24 has also seen support from other media companies and claims to have received 1.5 million signatures for a petition calling on President Duda to use his presidential veto.

The Polish president has so far not committed to passing or vetoing the bill and stated that he would make a decision when he receives the bill.

The new bill has the potential to spark yet another conflict between Poland and the European Union, as the European Commission said on Monday that it was concerned over the issue.

“We are following the latest developments with concern,” a Commission spokesman said during a press conference in Brussels.

“The vote that took place on Friday puts further pressure on the media sector on Poland… It may lead to limitation of media freedom in Poland where the media landscape already suffers under growing politicization,” the spokesman added.

Russia-linked news organisations have been denied broadcasting licences in multiple EU member-states without such expressions of concern, however.

US Judge Rejects Michael Flynn’s Request to Block 6 January Panel’s Subpoenas

A US House select committee is investigating whether former US President Donald Trump and his allies had any role in the storming of the Capitol on 6 January. Back then, legislators had convened to certify the results of the 2020 presidential election, which Trump and his allies claimed was "stolen" by the Democrats.

Former US National Security Adviser Michael Flynn has lost his bid in court to block a subpoena for his phone records and demands to testify in front of the House panel probing the storming of the Capitol. The lieutenant general filed the lawsuit on Tuesday, a day after he was scheduled to appear before the committee.

Flynn requested a temporary restraining order, saying the subpoena of his telephone records had "raised significant Constitutional and practical concerns". He also argued that it violated the First Amendment, which among other things protects freedom of speech, as well as his Fifth Amendment right against self-incrimination.

"The subpoena demands records of General Flynn’s communications about the 2020 election, and seeks to identify the basis for his beliefs and the persons with whom he associated, in addition to contacts with government officials. It thus constitutes a frontal assault on his 1st Amendment rights to freedom of speech, association, and petition. Without intervention by this Court, General Flynn faces the harm of being irreparably and illegally coerced to produce information and testimony in violation of the law and his constitutional rights", Flynn’s lawsuit read.

The former national security adviser also claimed that the 6 January committee is not legally constituted, because it does not have members appointed by House Minority Leader Kevin McCarthy, whose picks were barred by speaker of the House of Representatives Nancy Pelosi.

District Judge Mary Scriven rejected Flynn’s request, saying the former government official did not set forth "specific facts in an affidavit or a verified complaint clearly showing that immediate and irreparable injury, loss, or damage will result to him" if the subpoena is not blocked. The judge also noted that Michael Flynn’s lawyers did not follow the correct process in filing the request by failing to notify the House panel of the lawsuit or explaining why they did not do so.

On 6 January, members of Congress convened to certify the results of the 2020 presidential election, which former President Donald Trump lost to Joe Biden. However, the Republican refused to concede defeat and claimed that his opponent won because the Democrats had stolen the election. The businessman-turned-politician and his allies charged that voting machines were manipulated to affect the results of the vote, with some officials alleging that foreign nations were involved in the plot.

The ex-president and his supporters also filed over 50 lawsuits in several states demanding recounts of the ballots. Most of them were withdrawn or dismissed due to lack of evidence.

On 6 January, Donald Trump held the so-called "Stop the Steal" rally that was attended by thousands of his supporters. Addressing the crowd, the Republican reiterated claims about the election being stolen. Trump also called on his supporters to "march" on Congress.

"You are the people that built this nation. You have to get your people to fight", the president told his supporters.

A group of demonstrators numbering in the hundreds then headed to the Capitol and stormed the building as legislators were certifying the results of the vote. One police officer and four protesters died and more than a hundred law enforcement officers were injured when the demonstrators forced their way into the building.

Since the incident, questions have been raised as to whether the actions of Donald Trump and his allies played a role in the tragic events.

Disney, Walmart, Other Corporate Giants Named Most 'Woke' Organizations of 2021

It is a sign of the times that multiple bedrock corporations in American society, including Major League Baseball and Disney, have made it to a pro-tolerance organization’s “Worst of the Woke” list for 2021.

Other icons of modern life enumerated among the “Top 10 Most Hypocritical Institutions of the Year” included Walmart, Facebook and Twitter, according to the New Tolerance Campaign’s list.

The New Tolerance Campaign describes itself on its website as “a watchdog organization mobilizing Americans to confront intolerance double-standards by establishment institutions, civil rights groups, universities, and socially-conscious brands. NTC action campaigns empower ordinary Americans to hold accountable self-proclaimed arbiters of tolerance when they betray their own stated values.”

Although woke wackiness seemed to be a never-ending feature of 2021, New Tolerance Campaign president Gregory T. Angelo told Fox News that those making its worst-of-woke list were all “engaging in double-standards and rank hypocrisy.”

“Despite supply-chain issues throughout the year, there were two things that were available in abundance in 2021: ‘woke’ institutions seeking to outdo one another to prove how supportive they were of ‘diversity, equity, and inclusion,’ and hypocrisy from those same institutions in applying their stated values consistently,” Angelo said.

Major League Baseball made the list for taking its All-Star game out of Georgia to appease critics of Georgia’s voting laws, which actually provided more early voting days than Colorado, the state to which the game was moved.

“At the same time, MLB struck a deal to stream their games in China despite ongoing genocide and human rights abuses in the country,” the group noted.

The group’s explanation of why Disney made the list says it all.

“When it comes to wokeness, the media mega-company was firing on all cylinders in 2021. First, it terminated Mandalorian star Gina Carano for an Instagram post comparing the treatment of conservatives to the Jews during the Holocaust — but her costar Pedro Pascal got off scot-free making the same analogy comparing supporters of President [Donald] Trump to Nazis.

“Disney proudly showcases a ‘Diversity and Inclusion Commitment’ on its website, yet the company chose to film parts of Mulan in Xinjiang, a region notorious for religious persecution, even going so far as to thank Chinese Communist Party (CCP) entities responsible for human rights abuses in the movie’s credits,” the group said.

In writing about Facebook and Twitter, the group said that it was “impossible to say which of the social media behemoths is more hypocritical, so we’re calling this a tie,” adding, “If it wasn’t for double-standards, Facebook and Twitter wouldn’t have any at all.”

The group highlights former President Trump’s expulsion from Twitter while noting Twitter was “a-OK with CNN contributor Adeel Raja’s drumbeat of anti-Semitic tweets, including one stating, ‘The world today needs a Hitler.'”

Noting that “indoctrination isn’t just found on college campuses anymore,” the group put Walmart on the list for its prejudice-drenched critical race theory indoctrination given to all executives and recommended for most workers, coming at the same time there was no racial diversity on its executive team. CVS made the list for a similar reason — putting hourly workers through a presentation scolding white workers for having “privilege.”

The investment firm BlackRock was chided for proclaiming it would support “environmental sustainability” and “socially conscious” American companies while investing in China, which has no interest in either concept.

Others making the list included Emerson College for labeling standing up to China anti-Asian prejudice; the American Civil Liberties Union for remaining silent while free speech in America erodes; Amazon and the Southern Law Poverty Center for teaming up to bar anyone but the far left from getting access to the AmazonSmile giving portal; and the endless number of elites who preached one set of COVID-19 rules for everyone else and did what they pleased.

But the group did find one gem in the landfill of woke America and called the Women’s Tennis Association its “Champion of Tolerance” for standing up to China after it forced Chinese tennis star Peng Shuai to all but disappear after making a sexual assault allegation against a former Communist Party official.

Former U.S. sailor sentenced for selling stolen special ops gear to China

A former U.S. Navy sailor was sentenced to 30 months’ confinement and a $20,000 fine Tuesday for conspiring with her husband to illegally export “sensitive military equipment” to China for their own profit, the U.S. Justice Department announced.

Former Logistics Specialist 1st Class Ye Sang “Ivy” Wang, 37, was assigned to Naval Special Warfare Command and admitted to using her official position to buy military gear that her husband then sold to online buyers in China, according to the department.

She pleaded guilty in July and received an other-than-honorable discharge from the Navy in September, according to court records.

Her husband, Shaohua “Eric” Wang, 38, ran an online store selling pilfered gear to customers in China, according to court records.

In one instance, those records show that Shaohua Wang sold a ballistic helmet belonging to SEAL Team 5 to a Chinese customer in November 2018, netting him about $2,300 in the process.

One item Ye Sang Wang purchased in March 2018 using her military email and mailing address identifies U.S. personnel in the field and was subject to federal export controls.

Wang was deployed to Iraq at the time and told her command the package she ordered to her San Diego-based command was for her husband’s camping trip, according to the department.

Later in 2018, she returned home and gave the device to her husband, but law enforcement had secretly disabled it beforehand.

Wang told the Naval Criminal Investigative Service that her husband had sent her an Excel spreadsheet of military gear for her to purchase for buyers in China, according to the department.

Her husband couldn’t buy the gear with his personal email address, so he repeatedly pestered his wife to do so.

“She grew so annoyed at his repeated requests that, after purchasing equipment for him through March 2018, she gave him her password to her military email address and told him to buy the export-controlled military equipment posing as her after she deployed,” the Justice Department said.

Shaohua Wang’s scheme began in September 2016, according to court records.

Those records indicate that Ye Sang Wang kept providing military equipment to her husband through December 2018, even though she knew she was under investigation since at least October 2018, court records state.

“Ms. Wang betrayed her oath to the U.S. Navy and ultimately threatened the operational readiness and safety of our nation’s military by attempting to acquire and illegally export sensitive military equipment to China,” Special Agent in Charge Joshua Flowers, of the NCIS Southwest Field Office, said in a statement.

Shaohua Wang pleaded guilty in September 2019 to selling export-controlled U.S. military equipment through his online business and admitted to enlisting his wife to use her Navy position to further the scheme, according to the department.

Herd immunity without prosecution for refusal to be vaccinated — Putin on COVID

The President stressed that Russia needed herd immunity of about 80%

MOSCOW, December 23. /TASS/. The level of herd immunity against coronavirus may achieve 80% in Russia by the second quarter of 2022, Russian President Vladimir Putin said at his annual year-end press conference on Thursday.

No "prosecution measures" should be imposed for the refusal to receive the vaccine, as "action force is always equal to reaction force," the president said emphasizing that it is necessary to patiently explain why immunization is essential and to encourage people to receive the vaccine. The president is convinced that the politicians who oppose vaccination are merely trying to earn "cheap points on the nation’s health."

"Why do we have high mortality rates? The level of vaccination and herd immunity is low - 59.4%," he said. "This is the answer."

15-year-old charged with multiple counts of rape, sexual assault of minors

Prosecutors allege Tel Aviv teen ‘developed a pattern of sexual aggression against minors’ and ‘treated them like objects’

A 15-year-old student at an elite high school in Tel Aviv was indicted on charges of rape and sexual assault against multiple fellow minors on Thursday, in a case that has shocked the nation.

The charges against the teenager include five counts of rape of a minor, four counts of indecent assault of a minor and one charge of attempted rape. The charges are based on the student’s alleged crimes against six minor females who are aged 15 and younger.

The suspect, who cannot be named in the media due to his age, claims everything that happened was consensual.

Prosecutors dispute that characterization, and offered a sharply worded rebuke at the Juvenile District Court in Tel Aviv.

“The defendant harmed the souls of the minors, trampled on their will and their dignity, and treated them as objects,” said prosecutor Pnina Levy. The teenager “developed a pattern of sexual aggression against minors, and his serial harm poses an exceptional danger for someone of his age.”

The indictment alleges that the suspect carried out the attacks “against the will of the minors, without the student bothering to clarify their consent and at times despite their opposition.”

The student’s remand was extended for another week, at least until through next Thursday.

Victims were said to have come from three schools, although none of the incidents happened on campus. At least one of the victims is reportedly from the suspect’s school.

FDA Used Incomplete Data To Justify Deregulation of Chemical Abortion Pills, Studies Show

Agency relies on data submitted by drug's distributors

The Food and Drug Administration relied on incomplete data to reach its determination that it is safe to deregulate chemical abortion pills, according to medical studies.

FDA officials brushed aside concerns that women who obtain chemical abortion pills without an in-person doctor visit might put their health at risk. The agency did so by pointing to its Adverse Event Reporting System, which catalogues deaths and other side effects from abortion drugs like mifepristone. That government database, however, fails to encompass the actual number of serious medical incidents—the FDA does not require emergency rooms to report adverse effects from the drug. Medical studies show that thousands of women annually end up in emergency rooms after taking mifepristone. None of their cases are guaranteed to show up in government data.

The reporting system relies on data submitted by the makers of chemical abortion pills, who in turn gather data from doctors who prescribe the drugs. And a new study published this week shows the FDA reports a fraction of the data it is required to collect. Three board-certified OB-GYNs found that adverse effects reported by Planned Parenthood did not show up in the FDA database. In 2009 and 2010, for example, Planned Parenthood reported 1,530 adverse events in women who received mifepristone. The doctors found the FDA database for that time period only showed 664 complications.

Experts say the result makes chemical abortion pills seem far safer than they actually are. Dr. James Studnicki, a former medical school professor at Johns Hopkins University and the University of North Carolina, said the real number of adverse effects dwarfs the FDA's estimate. But he says the agency shows no sign it cares whether its data are accurate.

"If you don't want to find something, then don't look for it and pretend you're looking," Studnicki told the Washington Free Beacon.

Efforts to deregulate chemical abortion pills gained traction this year as states across the country passed the most abortion restrictions in a single year since the monumental Roe v. Wade decision. Over 70 Democrats cosponsored legislation in August that called for widespread access to chemical abortion pills. Plan C, a website that details how to purchase black-market chemical abortion pills online, said it had a significant increase in traffic in Texas after the state enacted its six-week abortion ban.

Mifepristone is sold under the brand name Mifeprex by Danco Laboratories. Until 2016, the FDA required Danco to report all adverse events, including ongoing pregnancies and hemorrhages, to the database. That year, the FDA changed the requirement to exclude deaths.

An FDA spokeswoman told the Free Beacon that the agency "does not comment on specific studies" but "continues to closely monitor the postmarketing safety data on mifepristone." Neither Planned Parenthood nor Danco responded to a request for comment.

Libya, Elections Postponed. Tripoli Still Under Military Siege

The commission is attempting to postpone the elections until January 24th. But thirty days is absolutely insufficient time to restore the conditions for a democratic and free vote. On the other hand, it was Imad Al-Sayeh himself, president of Hnec, who dissolved the work of the electoral commission. With a letter to the Commission’s Directorate-General, he ordered to “dissolve the electoral committees of the HNEC ‘s offices in the country, ending their work and submitting their reports for the year 2021”. In reality it is not possible to predict a concrete date.

For international diplomacy it is an unprecedented defeat. A defeat announced just a month ago by the sudden resignation of Jan Kubis, the United Nations special envoy to Libya. Kubis had resigned as after world leaders, including German Chancellor Angela Merkel, Italian Prime Minister Mario Draghi, and U.S. Vice President Kamala Harris pressed the Libyans to proceed with “free, fair, inclusive and credible presidential and parliamentary elections” on Dec. 24. Kubis knew it would be impossible to hold the elections.

Someone should have informed US President Joe Biden of the debacle. While international diplomacy tries to recompose the pieces of the Libyan disaster, good old Joe has found nothing better to do, than to send a letter to Libyan President Al Manfi, certainly one of the major culprits of the current institutional collapse of the North African country. In his statement, Biden has congratulated all Libyans on the anniversary of Libya’s Independence Day, which falls on December 24. The day of missed election. If we didn’t know Joe well, it would just seem like a sick prank.

The word goes back to politics and the military forces sharing control of Libya. For the electoral commission of the Libyan parliament, chaired by Al-Hadi Al-Saghi, it is necessary to define a new road map for the electoral process. Al Saghi, in the note sent to the president of parliament Aguila Saleh asks “the end of the Government of National Unity’s (GNU) mandate as a caretaker government”. The parliament, therefore, is asking for a new government to be stopped to take the place of Ahmed Dbeibah (head of government) and Al Manfi (prime minister).

Dbeibah and Al Manfi are the men who have led Libya since the end of the Geneva Forum, when their candidacy for the highest positions in the country prevailed over the ticket formed by Aguila Saleh and Fatih Bashaga, former interior minister. Al Manfi tries to maintain his role and for this reason, he continues to meet Libyan and international political leaders. After meeting the Egyptian President Al Sisi in Cairo, as soon as he returned to Tripoli he organized a meeting with Stephanie Williams, the US diplomat who heads the Unsmil mission. Thus, while the fate of the head of the Dbeibah government is sealed (his mandate ends with the date of December 24), Al Manfi could remain at the presidency of the country. Legally, it is up to the head of the Presidential Council, Mohammed el-Menfi, to continue to govern Libya after 24 December. The Libyan president is the only one with a mandate that allows him to issue decrees and appoint interim ministers in the absence of the premier.

UK Gov. cancelled Contract for only Vaccine Candidate that targets the entire Covid-19 Virus in September

The UK Government may have had 100 million doses of the solution to preventing the spread of Omicron in the United Kingdom, but it cancelled that contract in September.

The current vaccines available in the United Kingdom only target the S protein (Spike) of the alleged Covid-19 virus, and have been manufactured using computer models of the alleged spike of the original variant of the SARS-CoV-2 virus.

It is for this reason why authorities have whipped up so much fear over the emergence of Omicron, as the variant allegedly has several mutations to the spike protein.

Currently only the AstraZeneca, Pfizer, and Moderna jabs are available for emergency use in the UK, and whilst the AstraZeneca vaccine differs slightly from the Pfizer and Moderna jabs they still all only produce an immune response against the spike protein of the Covid-19 virus.

The Pfizer and Moderna jabs are both mRNA injections. They are a gene therapy that has never before been authorised for use in humans, and they work by instructing human cells to produce millions of copies of the Spike proteins of the Covid-19 virus.

Theoretically the body then produces an immune response against the Spike proteins alone which means the body has antibodies it can use if it ever encounters the same Spike proteins again.

True Dog Crime? Dogs on Death Row for a Crime They Didn't Commit, Say Heartbroken Owners

When my sister, attorney at law Stephanie Kimbrell, told me about her new case, I knew this was a story that deserves wider attention. As an attorney, Kimbrell often comes across strange or interesting cases, but this one was the first that involved the death penalty. Two beloved pet dogs, two-year-old Odin and six-year-old Lucy Lowman, have been condemned to die for a crime the owners say they did not commit in Anne Arundel County, Maryland.

In January of 2021, Odin and Lucy were accused of killing a neighbor’s cat, Big Boy. There was one alleged eyewitness who said he saw this event and identified the dogs. But the eyewitness changed his account and never showed up to testify. Even so, the dogs were incarcerated in the Anne Arundel County Care and Control facility and condemned to death on third-party hearsay statements.

Sixty-seven-year-old Nola Lowman and her son William Dillon, the dogs’ loving owners, have fought for almost a year to save the lives of the dogs, even hiring a legal team to file an appeal.

Odin and Lucy have been locked up in separate cages since last January without the loving interaction of their owners. “They don’t let me pet them or touch them,” Lowman told PJ Media. “I accidentally touched the bars when I went to see them and the guard yelled, ‘NO TOUCHING THE BARS’ at me like we were in prison.” The owners are also barred from taking photographs or videos of the dogs. Lowman couldn’t return after that experience. “I couldn’t take it,” she said. “The dogs don’t understand why I can’t touch them or give them treats. They just bark and cry. It’s hell.”

Since their incarceration in January of 2020, the dogs have not been allowed outside at all. Condemned dogs are forced to relieve themselves where they sleep and are never allowed to go outside for exercise or a walk at the county facility.

Wendy Cozzone of Cheryl’s Rescue Ranch said she is hopeful that the county can resolve this in a more reasonable way. “I’ve worked with the county for at least fifteen years and have seen positive changes over the last ten. There must be some mistake here,” she said. “No one wants to see innocent animals punished for a crime they didn’t commit.”

Lowman’s lawyers believe that the county used totally unreliable testimony and refused to see all the relevant evidence, which includes a trail-cam photograph of a hungry-looking coyote in the neighborhood.

Since Odin and Lucy have been locked up on death row, four other cats have turned up dead in the same neighborhood. Dillon testified about the rash of cat killings at the hearing before the board of appeals. “Neighbors have all reported that cats are being killed. There’s a serial cat killer on the loose and my dogs are taking the rap for it,” Dillon told PJ Media. “Odin was just a puppy when this supposedly took place.” Several witness statements presented at trial informed the board of appeals that Odin and Lucy are gentle animals that never showed any aggression toward farm animals, children, and other pets–including cats.
