You aren't wrong. But culture exists. Jewish culture is one of supremacists and segregation. When a society exists, it depends upon its members being invested in the common wealth of said society. All Jews are not self-identifying as segregated and supremacists in their chosen societies, but the nature of the culture means that practicing and self-identifying as Jewish separates one from the common wealth. In other words, no, it isn't "The Jews," but it IS Jews. Because anyone in your society that cares only for themselves at the expense of your society will be hated and driven out time and time again.
