Anon dig on theaters from last bread

>>15305921 (last bread)

Just started doing some digging on the movie theatre weirdness (pic related) and I'm making a spreadsheet to get a better idea of whats going on and its already proving interdasting. So this is the listings from 01/06 to 01/27 on showtimes.com for one AMC theatre in my area. Other theatres I've looked at have shown similar strange listings but I haven't collected data from those for comparison (yet. Like I said I just started). So it doesn't show it here but on 01/06 there is a normal listing of 7-8 currently playing movies (A Journal for Jordan, Matrix 4, etc) 01/07 the weirdness starts. As others have already mentioned the only movie playing is 355 (a movie about clowns, go figure) so for five days (01/07-01/11) that is the only movie listed. WED 01/12 doesn't even show up in the list which I assume means that there are no movies playing at all that day (I've yet to check the theatres site to look for mentions of that location being closed on 01/12 but I will). Then on 01/13 the only movie playing is Scream, 355 is gone and still no other movies playing. From 01/13 to 01/18 the only movie listed is Scream (6 days total) then on WED 01/19 (another Wednesday you'll notice) there is again nothing, doesn't even show in the menu. Starting 01/20 Scream is gone and the only movie listed is something called Redeeming Love (haven't looked it up yet to see what it's about). Redeeming Love is then the only movie listed from 01/20 to 01/27 (7 days) and the 27th is the last day listed in the menu, you can't see anything past that. So to sum up: 5 days of 355 (01/07-01/11), 6 days of Scream (01/13-01/18), and 7 days of Redeeming Love (01/20-01/27). Plus two days of nothing (WED 01/12 and WED 01/19). Should be interesting to compare to other theatres and I will be digging on this for a while tonight. Just wanted to get what I already found on here in case anyone else wants to dig.

>The only movies playing atm are superhero, chick flicks, action adventure, pets and sports and not much of that is for a christian because of all the lgbt themes woven into all of peckerwood. So with that in mind, the '355' op is directly targeting movie goers or non movie goers? Is the '355' op from the Cabal or from the Q+ camp or from a 3rd Party(commercial/publicity?). Faster we knock this down the faster we can bolster or blow up the narrative as needed.

Very similar all through january except there are no "closed" days and there is one day of overlap where 355 and Scream both play then where Scream and Redeeming Love both play, then back to just one movie each time. This time the numbers are 7 days of 355 (01/07-01/13) 8 days of Scream (01/13-01/20) and 8 days of Redeeming Love (01/20-01/27) with two days of overlap on the 13th and the 20th as opposed to the two closed days on the 12th and the 19th. Once again the listings stop on the 27th of January but this time they start back up on Feb 24 (02/24) and run until March 02 (03/03) once again with only one movie playing. This time a movie called STUDIO 666. KEK.

Movie 1- International spy girls

Movie 2- Very blood/gore trailer remake of a classic

Movie 3- Wild west child sex slave love story

Movie 4- Quirky violent band movie

Clearly wake everyone up, and turns out Foo Fighters are Q team.

Posts misrepresent movie schedules to push Jan. 6 conspiracy

CLAIM: Only one film is scheduled to play at many major movie theaters nationwide from Jan. 7-8, and this may be related to a Jan. 6 news conference planned by former President Donald Trump.

AP’S ASSESSMENT: False. The lack of listings in movie theater schedules has nothing to do with any political actions or other conspiracies. The single film — called “The 355” — currently listed this weekend is the only new movie premiering for most theaters, meaning tickets are open for advance sale. However, other titles that previously premiered and are still airing in theaters will be scheduled over the next few days, as is standard practice among most theaters.

THE FACTS: Social media users are misrepresenting advance theater schedules for the second weekend in January to push a baseless theory that they could foreshadow an announcement by Trump on Jan. 6, the anniversary of the violent insurrection in the U.S. Capitol by his supporters.

The claims originated on the messaging app Telegram in the first days of January, and hinged on the fact that as of the posting date, only one film was listed as showing on Friday, Jan. 7, and Saturday, Jan. 8, across many major markets and theaters.

“Something odd is going on in theaters across the nation on Jan. 7 and Jan. 8,” a widely-shared post on Facebook, Telegram and Twitter stated, adding: “It appears that the only movie that is going to be showing Jan. 7 and Jan. 8, is ‘The 355.’ Check your local listings and see if that is the case in your area. Wonder if this has something to do with the press conference Pres. Trump has scheduled for Jan 6?”

However, the claims are based on a misunderstanding of how most movie theaters compile and publish their schedules.

A spokesperson for Cinemark Theaters, a major chain, told The Associated Press that its showtimes aren’t usually booked for the week until after internal meetings each Monday, leaving the schedule sometimes looking bare until Tuesday.

“You’ll see that on Tuesdays, a lot of showtimes will populate for the subsequent week,” the spokesperson said.

An exception is when theaters allow advance sales for a movie that is set to premiere on a specific date, the spokesperson said. Such is the case with “The 355.”

“For example, ‘The 355’ has its premiere this coming weekend which is why tickets are on sale for that film already on that date,” the spokesperson said.

“The 355,” starring Jessica Chastain, Lupita Nyong’o and Diane Kruger, is about a CIA agent who joins forces with a rival German agent when a top-secret weapon falls into the hands of a group of mercenaries, according to the film’s website.

Some social media users also asserted that the movie’s themes supported the false claim that its solo billing was a planned event with political implications.

But Ryan Noonan, public relations director for AMC Theaters, disputed that the scheduling was anything out of the ordinary, confirming Cinemark’s explanation that this weekend’s showtimes reflect normal operations.

“Our weekly movie showtime scheduling is standard operating procedure at AMC and has been in place for years,” Noonan wrote in an email to the AP. “As is always the case, the complete showtime schedules at all AMC locations for the week of Jan. 7-13 will fully populate by Wednesday morning – offering AMC moviegoers a wide variety of entertainment choices.”

Richard Grover, vice president of communications for Regal Cinemas, another leading theater company, also verified the information.

“This is normal practice and our theatres will have a full slate of movies this weekend,” Grover wrote, adding that “The 355” is the only new movie opening this week, but all of the carry over titles, such as the new “Spider-Man” and “Sing 2,” would be scheduled in the coming days.

Trump announced Dec. 21 that he planned to hold a news conference at his Mar-a-Lago club in Palm Beach, Florida, on Jan. 6, according to a statement in which he recirculated since-debunked claims about the 2020 election and the January 2020 riot.

January movies: Release schedule for January 2022 movies (and where to watch)

The year 2021 was an insane ride for films, from the closure of theaters to the reopening and the groundbreaking box office numbers at the end. With that being said, we put together a list of new January movies in theaters and streaming.

We know that January isn’t known for the best movies because it’s a dump-off month, but this year, things are different. The month of January 2022 sees some fantastic films coming our way. Of course, another thing to look out for in January is my coverage of the 2022 Sundance Film Festival. The festival sets the tone for some upcoming films that you may want to check out this year.

The more exciting news is that we are getting a new installment of the Scream franchise. Ghostface is back on the hunt and the entire OG team has returned to take him down, maybe once and for all. The whole marketing campaign has been wild as they have released a lot of stuff and talking about someone we already know is the killer, so that’s fun.

The month kicks off with the release of the Jessica Chastain-led action film The 355, Jared Leto oft-delayed Marvel film Morbius is dropping, and a movie about Sesame Street I’ve never heard of before is also coming.

Although the list is small, with details on where you can either go watch it on the big screen or stream it online. Let us know if we missed any big movies you are excited to watch.
