Four days ago, the Federal Reserve released the names of the banks that had received $4.5 trillion in cumulative loans in the last quarter of 2019 under its emergency repo loan operations for a liquidity crisis that has yet to be credibly explained. Among the largest borrowers were JPMorgan Chase, Goldman Sachs and Citigroup, three of the Wall Street banks that were at the center of the subprime and derivatives crisis in 2008 that brought down the U.S. economy. That’s blockbuster news. But as of 7 a.m. this morning, not one major business media outlet has reported the details of the Fed’s big reveal.

On September 17, 2019, the Fed began making trillions of dollars a month in emergency repo loans to 24 trading houses on Wall Street. The Fed released on a daily basis the dollar amounts it was loaning, but withheld the names of the specific banks and how much they had borrowed. This made it impossible for the public to see which Wall Street firms were experiencing the most severe credit crisis.

It was the first time the Fed had intervened in the repo market since the 2008 financial crash – the worst financial crisis since the Great Depression. The COVID-19 crisis remained months away. The first reported case of COVID-19 in the U.S. was not reported by the CDC until January 20, 2020 and the World Health Organization did not declare a pandemic until March 11, 2020.

The dollar amounts of the Fed’s repo loans grew to staggering levels. On October 24, 2019, we reported the following:

”The New York Fed will now be lavishing up to $120 billion a day in cheap overnight loans to Wall Street securities trading firms, a daily increase of $45 billion from its previously announced $75 billion a day. In addition, it is increasing its 14-day term loans to Wall Street, a program which also came out of the blue in September, to $45 billion. Those term loans since September have been occurring twice a week, meaning another $90 billion a week will be offered, bringing the total weekly offering to an astounding $690 billion. It should be noted that if the same Wall Street firms are getting these loans continuously rolled over, they are effectively permanent loans. (That’s exactly what happened during the 2007-2010 Wall Street collapse: some teetering Wall Street casinos received, individually, $2 trillion in cumulative loans that were rolled over for two and one-half years – without the authorization or even awareness of Congress or the American people. One bank, Citigroup, received over $2.5 trillion in Fed loans, much of them at an interest rate below 1 percent, at a time when it was insolvent and couldn’t have obtained loans in the open market at even high double-digit interest rates.)”

Under the Dodd-Frank financial reform legislation of 2010, the Fed was legally required to release the names of the banks and the amounts they borrowed “on the last day of the eighth calendar quarter following the calendar quarter in which the covered transaction was conducted.” The New York Fed released the information for the third quarter of 2019 last Thursday, a day earlier than required. We reported on it the following day.

Those Fed revelations, that had been withheld from the American people for two years, should have made front page headlines in newspapers and on the digital front pages of every major business news outlet. Instead, there was a universal news blackout of the story at the largest business news outlets, including: Bloomberg News, the Wall Street Journal, the business section of the New York Times, the Financial Times, Dow Jones’ MarketWatch, and Reuters.

Could this critically important story have simply slipped by all of the dozens of investigative reporters and Fed watchers at these news outlets? Absolutely not. The Fed was required to release its repo loan data and names of the banks for the span of September 17 through September 30, 2019 at the end of the third quarter of this year. We reported on what that information revealed on October 13. Because we were similarly stunned by the news blackout on that Fed release, out of courtesy we sent our story to the reporters covering the Fed for the major news outlets. Our article alerted each of these reporters that a much larger data release from the Fed, for the full fourth quarter of 2019, would be released on or about December 31. The data was posted at the New York Fed sometime before 1:23 p.m. ET last Thursday.

A The most puzzling part of this news blackout is that the majority of the reporters who covered this Fed story at the time it was happening in 2019, are still employed at the same news outlets. We emailed a number of them and asked why they were not covering this important story. Silence prevailed. We then emailed the media relations contacts for the Wall Street Journal, the New York Times, the Financial Times and the Washington Post, inquiring as to why there was a news blackout on this story. Again, silence.

Next, we emailed a number of reporters who had covered this story in 2019 but were no longer employed at a major news outlet. We asked their opinion on what could explain this bizarre news blackout on such a major financial story. We received emails praising our reporting but advising that they “can’t comment.”

The phrase “can’t comment” as opposed to “don’t wish to comment” raised a major alarm bell. Wall Street megabanks are notorious for demanding that their staff sign non-disclosure agreements and non-disparagement agreements in order to get severance pay and other benefits when they are terminated. Are the newsrooms covering Wall Street megabanks now demanding similar gag orders from journalists? If they are, we’re looking at a form of corporate tyranny previously unseen in America.

Relatedly, two Chagoury associates – Joseph Arsan, 68, also of Paris, and Toufic Joseph Baaklini, 58, of Washington, D.C. – agreed to resolve allegations that they violated campaign contribution laws by assisting Chagoury in his illegal contributions.

Arsan agreed to pay $1.7 million in penalties

Baaklini admitted to giving $30,000 in cash provided by Chagoury to an individual at a restaurant in Los Angeles who, along with others, later made campaign contributions to the 2016 campaign of a U.S. congressman.

Baaklini also agreed to pay a $90,000 fine as part of his agreement and agreed to cooperate with the government’s investigation.

Just started doing some digging on the movie theatre weirdness (pic related) and I'm making a spreadsheet to get a better idea of whats going on and its already proving interdasting. So this is the listings from 01/06 to 01/27 on showtimes.com for one AMC theatre in my area. Other theatres I've looked at have shown similar strange listings but I haven't collected data from those for comparison (yet. Like I said I just started). So it doesn't show it here but on 01/06 there is a normal listing of 7-8 currently playing movies (A Journal for Jordan, Matrix 4, etc) 01/07 the weirdness starts. As others have already mentioned the only movie playing is 355 (a movie about clowns, go figure) so for five days (01/07-01/11) that is the only movie listed. WED 01/12 doesn't even show up in the list which I assume means that there are no movies playing at all that day (I've yet to check the theatres site to look for mentions of that location being closed on 01/12 but I will). Then on 01/13 the only movie playing is Scream, 355 is gone and still no other movies playing. From 01/13 to 01/18 the only movie listed is Scream (6 days total) then on WED 01/19 (another Wednesday you'll notice) there is again nothing, doesn't even show in the menu. Starting 01/20 Scream is gone and the only movie listed is something called Redeeming Love (haven't looked it up yet to see what it's about). Redeeming Love is then the only movie listed from 01/20 to 01/27 (7 days) and the 27th is the last day listed in the menu, you can't see anything past that. So to sum up: 5 days of 355 (01/07-01/11), 6 days of Scream (01/13-01/18), and 7 days of Redeeming Love (01/20-01/27). Plus two days of nothing (WED 01/12 and WED 01/19). Should be interesting to compare to other theatres and I will be digging on this for a while tonight. Just wanted to get what I already found on here in case anyone else wants to dig.

This time the numbers are 7 days of 355 (01/07-01/13) 8 days of Scream (01/13-01/20) and 8 days of Redeeming Love (01/20-01/27) with two days of overlap on the 13th and the 20th as opposed to the two closed days on the 12th and the 19th. Once again the listings stop on the 27th of January but this time they start back up on Feb 24 (02/24) and run until March 02 (03/03) once again with only one movie playing. Judge overseeing Wisconsin election fraud probe issues nearly 100 subpoenas to individuals involved in 2020 election

Wisconsin Special Counsel Michael Gableman is issuing 70 subpoenas to Wisconsin state employees and entities, mayoral staffers, IT departments, private companies, and special interest groups who were involved in the 2020 election.

Gableman’s latest move shows that Wisconsin’s election audit is far from complete, showing a far different story from that reported by the mainstream media.

As a former Wisconsin Supreme Court Justice, Michael Gableman was appointed by Speaker of the Wisconsin State Assembly Robin Vos to serve as special counsel in an investigation into the 2020 election in Wisconsin.

Gableman’s investigation is currently looking into the role that Facebook CEO Mark Zuckerberg played in the contested presidential election by donating massive amounts of money to the Center for Tech and Civic Life. It is also exploring the actions of the Wisconsin Election Commission as well as Wisconsin mayors and clerks. Not stopping there, Gableman’s investigation is also reviewing the integrity of voting systems, and various other issues in the 2020 election.

This comes after the Wisconsin election audit revealed a massive number of fraudulent votes were counted in the 2020 election by “active voters” registered for over 100 years and by inactive voters.

In Wisconsin, there are 119,283 "active voters" who have been registered for over 100 years!

While the mainstream media and Democrats have been quick to label Gableman’s special counsel as “partisan,” the evidence unveiled by the Wisconsin investigation points to legitimate reason for carefully examining what happened in the 2020 election.

President Donald Trump revealed he is watching this audit closely in a recent statement where he said, “All eyes are on Wisconsin as they begin their election audit,” The 45th president added, “Hopefully Republican Speaker Robin Vos has the integrity and strength Wisconsin needs to support Rep. Brandtjen’s efforts. Our Country is counting on it!”

Unlike most states, Wisconsin’s elections are not managed by the secretary of state. In Wisconsin, the Government Accountability Board manages the election in conjunction with almost 2,000 municipal clerks, over 70 county clerks, and multiple election inspectors. This means that the election audit in Wisconsin is not as cut-and-dried as those conducted in other states.

Gableman is now reportedly investigating many of these clerks, as well as mayors and staff members. The focus on the latest subpoenas is centered around the use of the CTCL’s money. Already, multiple reports have shown that Mark Zuckerberg’s CTCL contributions were disproportionately used to benefit Democrats. Gableman’s special counsel will continue to investigate these issues, despite Democrats calling for an end to the investigation.

According to a source at The Western Journal, the latest subpoenas Gableman sent out were all for the Wisconsin Election Commission, mayoral staffers, IT records, and other entities in the state of Wisconsin. However, Gableman’s commission has indicated that other subpoenas could be sent out in the future.

The outlet reports Gableman’s intention with his latest set of subpoenas is to “obtain records, depositions and more information on the election process and organizations that seem to have had a hand in the administration of elections.”

As the Wisconsin election audit continues into 2022, Americans eagerly await the results.
