Switch parties wouldn't work too well either. He voted to impeach President Trump, so he'd be out in the first Republican primary. I think his political career will be over. Dems would primary and win, Republicans would primary and win.
Democrat who makes one solid principle stand. Good for him and his conscience. Doesn't earn Republican votes. If President Trump endorsed him would be his only shot, but he'd probably give a Complete and Total to any non-RINO challenger if he switched parties.
Go private sector. There'd be people there looking to reward his one good move. But he's toast as a politician.
