According to the Bible, specifically Paul, we should all defer to Biden and bow down to Klaus Schwab, because they were put in place by God.

Romans 13:1-7

New King James Version

Submit to Government

13 Let every soul be subject to the governing authorities. For there is no authority except from God, and the authorities that exist are appointed by God. 2 Therefore whoever resists the authority resists the ordinance of God, and those who resist will [a]bring judgment on themselves. 3 For rulers are not a terror to good works, but to evil. Do you want to be unafraid of the authority? Do what is good, and you will have praise from the same. 4 For he is God’s minister to you for good. But if you do evil, be afraid; for he does not bear the sword in vain; for he is God’s minister, an avenger to execute wrath on him who practices evil. 5 Therefore you must be subject, not only because of wrath but also for conscience’ sake. 6 For because of this you also pay taxes, for they are God’s ministers attending continually to this very thing. 7 Render therefore to all their due: taxes to whom taxes are due, customs to whom customs, fear to whom fear, honor to whom honor.

I'm not that dumb. It seems to me that Paul is not casting a definition of "rulers", defining them as "doers of good". He is making an ontologically bound statement about earthly rulers, saying that by dint of the fact that they are earthly rulers, God appointed them. Refer to Romans. 13:2.

>If the word isnt in you, you arent in Him. Depart from me ye who work iniquity.

Common kneejerk response.

I read the New Testament in koine Greek. I have objections. Romans 13:1-7 has never been adequately defended, and it all hinges on v.2.

Romans 13:7.2

"For there is no authority except from God, and the authorities that exist are appointed by God."

That is very clear language, and it is not taken out of context. Can you admit that maybe Paul was talking to a certain group of people that don't include us in this time of tribulation? Can you at least admit that?

Would you expect a villager in Myanmar, who sees the injustice that his government inflicts, and who encounters this passage in the Bible, to be on top of all these cross-references?

>Even the most wicked, godless governments act as a deterrent to crime. Do what is good . . . have praise. Peaceful, law-abiding citizens need not fear the authorities. Few governments will harm those who obey their laws. In fact, governments usually commend such people.

This is beyond shockingly ignorant and naive.

>Shills against the bible have come out in force since the Synchronized prayer. OVER THE TARGET

It's not only Biblefags who participate in your prayer offensive. And Christians are not the only good people on this planet.
