Two weeks after Joe Rogan interviewed mRNA inventor Dr. Robert Malone on his Spotify podcast - which boasts 11 million viewers on average - an angry letter brigade of 270 doctors and scientists have written an open letter to Spotify to demand they censor Rogan and implement a Covid-19 "misinformation policy," so that people, even highly trained virologist-immunologists such as Malone, can't contradict 'the science.'

Getting down to their core argument:

In episode #1757, Rogan hosted Dr. Robert Malone, who was suspended from Twitter for spreading misinformation about COVID-19. Dr. Malone used the JRE platform to further promote numerous baseless claims, including several falsehoods about COVID-19 vaccines and an unfounded theory that societal leaders have “hypnotized” the public. Many of these statements have already been discredited.

The links go to an instagram slideshow and three MSM 'fact checks' - one of which doesn't even discuss Malone, and say his actions are not only "objectionable and offensive, but also medically and culturally dangerous."

And of course, just three of the signatories are immunologists, roughly 10% are nurses or nurse practitioners, and 33 are some type of 'assistant' (professor, nurse, lab, etc.). In short - hardly any of these people are qualified to refute Malone, which is probably why they link to 'fact checks' instead of compiling their own response on the merits of what Malone said.

Putin briefed on military options in Ukraine – Moscow

However, official insists it is still essential to try and pursue a diplomatic path rather than resort to violence

Russia’s top military experts have presented Russian President Vladimir Putin with possible plans of action in case tensions around Ukraine spiral into conflict, Moscow has disclosed as tensions flare between the two states.

Speaking as part of an interview on Thursday with media outlet RTVI, Deputy Foreign Minister Sergey Ryabkov said that “war specialists are constantly offering options to the president in the event that conditions deteriorate.”

The diplomat remarked that “this is a difficult subject,” and that it should be handled with care in the public space because it in itself is “a rocking of the situation.” He also said that it is vital to “give diplomacy a chance.”

Ryabkov also hinted that Russia could conduct naval exercises if the West continues to provoke Moscow, but said that there is no appetite to do so. When asked about whether the possibility of deploying the country’s military infrastructure to Venezuela or Cuba had been considered, the official replied that “I don't want to confirm anything, I won't rule anything out here either."

Putin Declares "Mission Accomplished" In Kazakhstan As Russian Troops Start Pullout

After earlier in the week announcing that its troop draw down from neighboring Kazakhstan will commence "within two days," the Russian government has confirmed Thursday that its forces have initiated an exit of some 2,000-3,000 peacekeeping forces from the country.

"A Russia-led military bloc began pulling its troops out of Kazakhstan on Thursday after a week-long deployment during the worst bout of unrest in the Central Asian nation's post-Soviet history," Reuters confirmed. Russia's defense ministry at the same time informed President Putin that all Russian soldiers are expected to be out by Jan.19. "They have to return home," Putin said during a meeting on the Kazakhstan crisis aired on national TV. "They’ve accomplished their task."

After dozens of security forces were reported killed and wounded, with hundreds of police injuries also reported, Kazakh President Kassym-Jomart Tokayev had dubbed efforts to reign in last week's raging protests and rioting which was triggered by a fuel price hike as "counter-terrorism".

The Kremlin too, backed this declaration, and the Russia-led bloc under the CSTO Collective Security Council voted to send in troops to assist Kazakh security forces.

Kazakh authorities have now said that key sensitive facilities that had been guarded by Russian forces are now being handed over on Thursday. CSTO Secretary General Stanislav Zas announced the formal end of the peacekeeping mission, which included Belarusian troops and small contingents of other regional allies, as follows:

"Today, thanks to the joint and coordinated actions of the CSTO peacekeepers, the armed forces and law enforcement officers of the Republic of Kazakhstan, the situation in the country has stabilized. During the operation, we gained invaluable experience of close cooperation between the peacekeeping contingents of the organization’s member states in countering terrorism and [counteracting] the destructive forces in the country."

The pullout and logistics are expected to take several days, and could be wrapped up before the Jan.19 target date.

Kazakh authorities have hailed the Russian forces as having helped locate and detain "bandits" and foreign militants who helped fuel last week's violence. While some sporadic protests have continued, the large cities, especially Almaty, began to be pacified days ago - but this after a number of central government buildings were burned and destroyed.

MP responds to Chinese ‘agent’ funding

Lawmaker Barry Gardiner says he’d made British security services aware of donations long ago and wasn’t involved in any wrongdoing

Labour MP Barry Gardiner has issued a statement noting that he did not engage in any illegal activity when he received funds from a woman named Christine Lee, who has since been accused by MI5 of being a Chinese “agent.”

Westminster has been rocked by an alleged spy scandal after MPs were notified by the House Speaker of an alert from intelligence agency MI5 about a suspected foreign agent attempting to interfere on behalf of the Chinese Communist Party.

The allegations center around Christine Lee, a Chinese woman who worked with British lawmakers and the all-party parliamentary group ‘Chinese in Britain,’ which has now been disbanded.

Speaker Lindsay Hoyle wrote to MPs after being contacted by MI5. In his letter, he stated that Lee had allegedly “engaged in political interference activities on behalf of the Chinese Communist Party, engaging with Members here at Parliament.”

According to British tabloid The Sun, Lee had links to Labour MP Barry Gardiner. In 17 years, Lee had reportedly donated over £675,000 to either Gardiner's office or to the Labour Party.

Responding to the reports of Lee's funding, Gardiner said in a statement on Wednesday that the security services had long been made aware of his association with Lee and that efforts were made to ensure that he personally did not benefit from her funding.

Gardiner said that these donations funded researchers in his office in the past and Lee had no role in either the appointment or management of those researchers. “She ceased funding any workers in my office in June 2020,” he added.

The MP also said that the British security services have assured him that “whilst they have definitively identified improper funding channelled through Christine Lee, this does not relate to any funding received by my office.”

Lee’s son had also been working as a diary manager for Gardiner and resigned from his position on Thursday morning, the MP said. “The Security Services have advised me that they have no intelligence that shows he was aware of, or complicit in, his mother’s illegal activity,” Gardiner added.

The MP said he was ready to cooperate with MI5 in any possible way.

Lee was also awarded a ‘Points of Light’ award for volunteering by then-Prime Minister Theresa May. In a letter to Lee, May praised her for “promoting engagement, understanding, and cooperation between the Chinese and British communities in the UK.”

On receiving the award, Lee said that the wellbeing of the British Chinese community in the UK would always be of great importance to her.

USA Today was lambasted this week for publishing an article framing pedophilia as "misunderstood." Swift backlash caused the publication to delete tweets promoting the article, which was originally titled "What the public keeps getting wrong about pedophilia," before being edited to "The complicated research behind pedophilia."

"Pedophilia is viewed as among the most horrifying social ills. But scientists who study the sexual disorder say it is also among the most misunderstood," the article begins.

"When most of the public thinks of pedophilia, they assume it's synonymous with child sexual abuse, a pervasive social problem that has exploded to crisis levels online," USA Today national correspondent Alia E. Dastagir wrote. "Researchers who study pedophilia say the term describes an attraction, not an action, and using it interchangeably with 'abuse' fuels misperceptions."

The article cites psychologist Anna Salter, who argues, "There are the people who are sexually attracted to children … (and then) there are some people who molest kids who are not pedophiles. They molest kids because of anger. They molest kids because they're scared of adult women. They molest kids to get revenge, but they don't actually have an age preference for prepubescent children."

The article quotes James Cantor – a clinical psychologist, sex researcher, and former editor-in-chief of Sexual Abuse: A Journal of Research and Treatment. In 2018, Cantor advocated for pedophilia to be labeled as a sexual preference and be included in the LGBTQ+ collective.

"Speaking as a gay men [sic], I believe we SHOULD include the P. To do otherwise is to betray the principles that give us our rights," Cantor wrote on Twitter.

Illinois judge slammed for reversing teen’s rape conviction

An Illinois judge is facing heat for reversing an 18-year-old man’s sexual assault conviction at the teen’s sentencing last week — saying the 148 days he spent in jail since his arrest was enough, reports said.

Adams County Judge Robert Adrian issued the stunning reversal last Monday after finding Drew Clinton guilty of one count of criminal sexual assault at an October bench trial, the Herald-Whig reported.

“Mr. Clinton has served almost five months in the county jail, 148 days,” Adrian said, according to a court transcript obtained by the newspaper.

“For what happened in this case, that is plenty of punishment. That would be a just sentence.”

Clinton was convicted of sexually assaulting a 16-year-old girl at a graduation party last May.

He had faced a mandatory minimum sentence of four years. Adrian’s decision came after Clinton’s attorneys filed two post-trial motions and the judge ruled prosecutors failed to prove their case, the newspaper reported.

Following Adrian’s ruling, the distraught victim went public with her story — recounting the sexual assault to reporters and detailing her emotional reaction when she learned Adrian was set free.

“It’s worse now than it was [before], because not only does she not have her justice, but now she feels like she spoke up for nothing, and you know that hurts,” the father told the newspaper.

“Now she wishes she wouldn’t have even said anything.”

Biden Demands Big Tech Censor Those Who Question Regime's COVID Narrative

In his latest gaffe-filled appearance before cameras, Joe Biden urged big tech companies to act against anyone who spreads COVID-19 “misinformation or disinformation” and demanded that they work with his administration to do this.

Before calling on big tech to enforce the White House’s strict ideological conformity on COVID-19, Biden blamed the state of the pandemic on vaccine resisters.

“Unfortunately while our military’s stepping up, as they always do, there are others sitting on the sidelines, and worse standing in the way,” said Biden.

“If you haven’t gotten vaccinated, do it. Personal choice impacts us all.”

He then transitioned to his “special appeal” to big tech companies and legacy media outlets: Repeat what I say, and stop those who disagree.

“I make a special appeal to social media companies and media outlets,” Biden began. “Please deal with the misinformation and disinformation that’s on your shows, it has to stop.”

After belittling the unvaccinated and devaluing personal choice, Biden then declared that only following his orders would end the COVID-19 pandemic.

“COVID-19 is one of the most formidable enemies our country has ever faced, and we’ve got to work together, not against each other,” he concluded.

Biden did not acknowledge that tech companies have long cooperated with the federal government on COVID-19.

Twitter recently announced a fact checking partnership to enforce ideological rigidity, YouTube will ban users who reference COVID-19 facts not approved by the World Health Organization, and we now know that Facebook, now Meta, personally reached out to Anthony Fauci to offer help in advancing the White House’s narratives.

More recently, tech companies have offered Biden’s White House the additional favor of banning one of the Democrats’ most vocal political opponents, Rep. Marjorie Taylor Greene.

Greene’s personal Twitter account and Facebook page were both purged, leading to an exodus to alt tech platforms including Gab and Telegram.

Apparently none of this is enough for Joe Biden.

MI5 Claims Chinese ‘Spy’ Successfully Managed to Infiltrate UK Parliament

The British security agency MI5 has claimed that a ‘spy’ for Communist China has managed to infiltrate the UK parliament.

A spy for Communist China has managed to infiltrate the UK parliament, according to claims made by domestic intelligence agency MI5.

As reported by the group, Christine Ching Kui Lee, who has reportedly been active in parliamentary circles, engaged in “the facilitation of financial donations to political parties, parliamentarians, aspiring parliamentarians and individuals seeking political office in the UK” in “covert co-ordination” with a department of the Chinese Communist Party.

“Lee has publicly stated that her activities are to represent the UK Chinese community and increase diversity,” read MI5’s “Security Service Interference Alert”, according to The Telegraph. “However the aforementioned activity has been undertaken in covert co-ordination with the UFWD, with funding provided by foreign nationals located in China and Hong Kong.”

The UFWD — or United Front Work Department — is responsible for carrying out influence operations for China in order to “co-opt and neutralize sources of potential opposition to the policies and authority of its ruling Chinese Communist Party”, according to the U.S. China Economic and Security Review Commission.

“We judge that the UFWD is seeking to covertly interfere in UK politics through establishing links with established and aspiring parliamentarians across the political spectrum,” the MI5 alert also stated. “The UFWD seeks to cultivate relationships with influential figures in order to ensure the UK political landscape is favourable to the CCP’s agenda and to challenge those that raise concerns about CCP activity, such as human rights.”

“Lee has been engaged in the facilitation of financial donations to political parties, parliamentarians, aspiring parliamentarians and individuals seeking political office in the UK, including facilitating donations to political entities on behalf of foreign nationals,” the alert continued.

The Telegraph also reports that Lee is listed as a donor to Labour MP and former Shadow Secretary of State for International Trade, Barry Gardiner.

A Document on the official website of the UK parliament lists “Christine Lee & Co” as a donor to the MP, with giving amounting to nearly £60,000 over two years.

According to a report by The Guardian, alerts like the one issued by the MI5 in relation to Lee are exceedingly rare, with no alert having ever been released before in relation to China, and only one ever in relation to Russia.

Speaking on the issue, UK Home Secretary Priti Patel said that while she knew people would be “deeply concerned” over the report, she said that there are “strong structures the United Kingdom has in place to identify foreign interference or any potential threats to our democracy”.

“Where necessary, proportionate action is always taken to mitigate these threats, thanks to our world-leading intelligence and security agencies,” Sky News reports Patel as saying.

Principal Raped Teen Girl, Planned Parenthood Aborted Her Baby and Sent Her Back to Him

A former middle school principal was arrested last week in Indiana on two felony counts of Child Seduction for an illegal sexual relationship he had with a minor girl, who he took to a Chicago Planned Parenthood for a secret abortion.

According to a probable cause affidavit (see below) circulated recently by several news agencies, the victim had just turned 16 when Peter Allen Downey, then 45, began a physical relationship with her in 2008. She became impregnated by him later that year. On September 2, 2008, Downy drove the victim from the Fort Wayne, Indiana area where they both lived to the Planned Parenthood abortion facility located at 1200 N. LaSalle Dr. in Chicago, Illinois, where she obtained an abortion at about six weeks into her pregnancy.

The victim had kept paperwork and an ultrasound photo she had received from Planned Parenthood Police say that paperwork listed Downey’s true name and a phone number that his ex-wife confirmed was the number of land line to a home they once shared in Fort Wayne.

Even though the abortion was done on an out-of-state minor accompanied by a suspicious 45-year-old man who was not related to her, there is no evidence that Planned Parenthood ever reported suspected underage sexual abuse. In fact, the illegal relationship continued past the victim’s eighteenth birthday in May 2009 – eight months after her abortion. The relationship finally ended in 2013.

“Does Planned Parenthood cover up sexual crimes against minors? Yes, they do, and this latest arrest is proof of that. Downey trusted Planned Parenthood to keep his dirty little secret, and they did so by killing his baby and destroying evidence of his abuse,” said Operation Rescue President Troy Newman. “Planned Parenthood had to know that there was something suspicious about the teen’s relationship with Downey, but instead of alerting authorities, they gave the girl an abortion then handed her back to her abuser. This enabled him to continue to victimize her. Planned Parenthood should face legal consequences for that.”

It is likely that Tonya Reaves, who died from abortion complications, had her fatal abortion there.

CNN Producer Hit With New Lawsuit Over Alleged Sex Trafficking of 9-Year-Old 'Jane Doe'

A $15 million civil lawsuit has been filed against former CNN producer John Griffin, who is already facing federal charges of child trafficking.

“For several years prior to 2020, the defendant solicited young girls, including the minor plaintiff, for the purpose of knowingly persuading, inducing, enticing and coercing them to engage in sexual activity, sexual exploitation, and/or sexual trafficking,” the lawsuit, filed last week in Bridgeport, Connecticut, alleges, according to Fox News, which posted a copy of the lawsuit online as well as a claim to restrain Griffin’s assets for up to $15 million.

Griffin, who formerly produced Chris Cuomo’s show on CNN, faces one charge of child trafficking along with two counts of attempted trafficking.

The lawsuit’s goal is to ensure no matter what happens to the criminal charges, Griffin has to pay, according to the lawyer who filed the suit.

“We are seeking to restrain his assets so he doesn’t have the financial wherewithal to abuse another child,” attorney Joel Faxon said, according to Connecticut Insider.

Faxon said the lawsuit involves the same 9-year-old child who was mentioned in the indictments against Griffin.

That child, who was a resident of Nevada, was allegedly brought to Vermont by her adopted mother and participated in sexual activities that later resulted in the indictment against Griffin.

The lawsuit claims the child suffered emotional and other damage as a result of her interaction with Griffin.

The adopted mother faces charges in Nevada, leading the child to be sent to live with a custodian in Connecticut.

Griffin is accused of inviting multiple women to Vermont to participate in the “sexual training” of their children.

The lawsuit says Griffin is alleged to have told those he tried to recruit that they could help him see that a “minor child” was “trained properly.”

The suit said Griffin is also alleged to have said that “when handled properly, a woman is a woman regardless of her age.”

The evidence against Griffin in the federal indictment against him includes drone video of a “completely naked 9-year-old girl” shown with Griffin, according to court filings.

“When confronted with this video during an interview by FBI agents, Griffin’s first response was merely to suggest he was not looking at the naked girl, despite that she was standing so close to him to be touching,” according to a memo issued to support detaining Griffin.

Griffin is currently being held in Vermont without bail.

CNN fired Griffin in December after the charges against him were made public.

A Highlands County, Florida, father and husband, working in Japan for a U.S. Department of Defense subcontractor, tried to consummate his monthslong online relationship with a 13-year-old girl by flying her to Northern Japan to have sex.

Whether or not Garrett Pako, 29, was conversing with an actual 13-year-old isn’t clearly stated by the Fort Pierce federal court paperwork. But Pako thought he was and he pleaded guilty to attempted coercion or enticement of a minor to engage in sexual activity. Pako received the minimum 10-year sentence.

A court filing by Pako says the resident of Highlands County’s Venus area had been honorably discharged from the U.S. Air Force in 2018 after serving six years. During his time in the Air Force, he met and married his wife, with whom he has two kids, a 5-year-old and 3-year-old.

The wife and children lived in Japan, where, the indictment says, Pako was working in Shariki, Japan, at the Shariki Communications Site as a Chenega Security security guard.

Court documents and the U.S. Department of Justice say Pako met a girl he believed to be 13 on a dating app while traveling in Okinawa. From Feb. 13, 2020, through June 9, 2020, the man who also goes by “Kinky Bear” and “K. King” sent Hentai (pornography with anime content) cartoons of toddlers to the girl and a video of himself masturbating.

Cost for Afghan Refugees at Bases Reaches $688 Million, Pentagon Says

The military's total cost for housing tens of thousands of Afghan refugees at U.S. bases has already topped $688 million, according to the Defense Department.

The most recent figure accounts for refugee villages set up at eight bases from August through mid-December, the department told Military.com on Wednesday. The cost is certain to rise as about 19,500 Afghans remain on installations awaiting permanent resettlement.

More than 76,000 refugees arrived in the U.S. as part of Operation Allies Welcome when Kabul fell to the Taliban and the military ended its 20-year campaign in war-torn Afghanistan. Many of the refugees worked with U.S. forces, and the U.S. military undertook one of the largest airlifts in history to bring them to safety.

The cost is a drop in the bucket compared to this year's $741 billion budget for defense. Congress has already passed $13.3 billion in funding for the resettlement effort, which supports the Pentagon as well as the Department of Homeland Security, State Department, and Department of Health and Human Services.

But the military services are also dealing with an oncoming budget crisis. Congress has yet to agree on spending legislation for the current fiscal year, which began in September, and may punt on funding the entire rest of the year after a series of stopgap measures divided Democrats and Republicans.

The budget stalemate must be worked out by next month, when the current short-term funding expires.

The cost has also riled some Republicans in Congress. Sen. James Lankford, R-Okla., opposed the approved funding, saying it was more than the entire budget of his home state, which has over 4 million residents.

Afghans remain at five U.S. bases. The number reported by DHS at Joint Base McGuire-Dix-Lakehurst, New Jersey, is 9,700; Fort McCoy, Wisconsin, 4,400; Fort Pickett, Virginia, 2,700; Camp Atterbury, Indiana, 1,100; and Holloman Air Force Base, New Mexico, 1,600.

Meanwhile, three bases have wrapped up missions housing the Afghan men, women and children. Marine Corps Base Quantico in Virginia housed and helped resettle 3,755 Afghans.

The Marine base created housing at an old officer candidate school and built tent facilities, provided three daily meals, internet services and educational classes. The effort was managed by 924 DoD personnel, according to an inspector general report.

The total cost for Quantico was $188 million, the IG found. The DoD watchdog is conducting a series of audits on the resettlement program.

As sexual abuse cases hit ultra-Orthodox community, some vow to be silent no longer

Insular community struggling to deal with several high profile cases of prominent people being accused of abuse, with counselors seeing a rise in the number willing to speak out

AFP — After Israel’s ultra-Orthodox Jewish community was shaken by sexual abuse allegations against several of its leading figures in recent months, a call has begun to reverberate throughout the deeply devout and introverted society.

“Lo Tishtok” — Hebrew for “You shall not be silent” — is a phrase gaining momentum among ultra-Orthodox Jews, or Haredim, who are being forced to reckon with claims of serious crimes, including sexual abuse of children, against several of their cultural icons.

In December, prominent children’s author and rabbi Chaim Walder killed himself after the Haaretz newspaper published a story accusing him of sexually assaulting nearly two dozen people, including children — allegations he had denied.

Haaretz had in March reported that Yehuda Meshi-Zahav, founder of the Zaka emergency response organization and winner of the Israel Prize — the country’s highest public honor — had sexually assaulted boys, girls and women.

Meshi-Zahav, who denounced the claims as “lies”, also tried to hang himself in April before new allegations of sexual misconduct surfaced on Channel 12.

An Israeli police spokesperson told AFP that there was an open investigation into the allegations against Meshi-Zahav, but police offered no comment on the status of a criminal probe against Walder at the time of his death.

Avigayil Heilbronn, who founded the “Lo Tishtok” organization that aims to support Haredi sexual abuse victims, said the ultra-Orthodox community has been rattled.

The allegations against Walder marked an “extraordinary blow”, said the 33-year-old divorced mother of two, who describes herself as modern Orthodox.

NCAA RELEASES UPDATED COVID-19 GUIDANCE FOR WINTER SPORTS, NATURAL IMMUNITY NOW ACCEPTED FOR ATHLETES

The NCAA has released updated guidance for winter sports competing during the COVID-19 pandemic. The 2022 Winter Training and Competition document follows recent updates by the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention, including recommendations for quarantine and isolation. The updated guidance addresses broad considerations that differentiate COVID-19 management in Tier 1 individuals based on vaccination and other immunity considerations.

For purposes of the winter guidelines, the NCAA COVID-19 Medical Advisory Group has developed a definition of “fully vaccinated” that considers both vaccination status and other immunity factors that may impact risks for Tier 1 individuals, including student-athletes and coaches. Those considered fully vaccinated include people:

Within two months of having completed the primary series of the Johnson & Johnson vaccine (one dose).

Within five months of having completed the primary series of the mRNA Pfizer vaccine, or within six months of having completed the primary series of the mRNA Moderna vaccine (two doses for both).

Who have received a booster vaccine if they are beyond two months of the Johnson & Johnson vaccine or beyond five or six months of the mRNA Pfizer or Moderna vaccine, respectively.

A person who has had a documented COVID-19 infection in the past 90 days is considered the equivalent of “fully vaccinated.”

COVID-19 management considerations suggest five days of quarantine after a positive test with isolation ending after five days if there are no symptoms or symptoms are resolving. Considerations also include masking around others for five additional days. Participation in athletic activities without a mask during days six through 10 can be considered following a negative PCR/NAAT test or antigen test.

The updated guidance also extends to close contacts. Those who are not fully vaccinated should quarantine at home for five days with no participation in athletic activities, followed by masking for five additional days. Participation in athletic activities without a mask can be considered during days six through 10 following a negative PCR/NAAT test or antigen test.

Close contacts who are considered fully vaccinated or who have had a recent infection do not need to quarantine but should wear a mask around others socially for 10 days when not actively training/competing. Athletic activities are permitted without a mask. Individuals should test on day five, if possible, and test if symptomatic.

“The omicron variant has presented another surge of cases across the country,” NCAA Chief Medical Officer Brian Hainline said. “This guidance was designed to align with the latest public health directives. Given how the pandemic continues to evolve, it’s important that staff on member campuses continue to work with their local and state health officials on protocols most suitable for their locations.”

The guidelines are for Tier 1 individuals and include other recommendations that carry over from the fall for testing and other athletic and nonathletic activities. As previously defined, Tier 1 individuals are those with the highest exposure (for example, student-athletes, coaches, athletic trainers, physical therapists, medical staff, equipment staff and officials).

The NCAA guidance was developed in consultation with the NCAA COVID-19 Medical Advisory Group, American Medical Society for Sports Medicine Working Group and Autonomy 5 Medical Advisory Group and takes into consideration available recommendations from the CDC. It is intended to be consistent with guidance published by the federal government and its health agencies and to reflect the relevant scientific and medical information available at the time of print. The guidance remains subject to revision as available data continues to emerge and evolve.

NSO's Pegasus spyware found on phones of dozens of journalists in El Salvador - report

Targets included journalists at El Faro, GatoEncerrado, La Prensa Gráfica, Revista Digital Disruptiva, Diario El Mundo, El Diario de Hoy, and two independent journalists.

Israeli cyber company NSO’s Pegasus technology was allegedly used to spy on 35 journalists and civil society workers in El Salvador, according to a new report by The Citizen Lab and Access Now.

The organizations said that they discovered 35 phones that had been infected with the spyware between July 2020 and November 2021. The groups said that they shared a sample of forensic data with Amnesty International’s Security Lab which independently confirmed the findings.

Targets included journalists at El Faro, GatoEncerrado, La Prensa Gráfica, Revista Digital Disruptiva, Diario El Mundo, El Diario de Hoy, and two independent journalists. Civil society targets included Fundación DTJ, Cristosal, and another NGO.

Alleged FBI infiltrator Epps tells House panel no ties any law enforcement agency on Jan 6, report

Epps has been accused of being FBI plant by a group that believes the Capitol riot was planned by feds

Ray Epps, accused by some of being part of an FBI operation to stage the Jan. 6 Capitol riot, has told the special House committee investigating the incident that he has no ties to the agency or other branches of law enforcement.

"Mr. Epps informed us that he was not employed by, working with, or acting at the direction of any law enforcement agency on January 5th or 6th or at any other time, and that he has never been an informant for the FBI or any other law enforcement agency," a committee aide said Tuesday after Epps was interviewed by panel members.

On Tuesday, Republican Sens. Ted Cruz, of Texas, and Tom Cotton, of Arkansas, made reference to and asked about Epps during the questioning of FBI official Jill Sanborn on Capitol Hill.

Sanborn repeatedly refused to comment on Epps and did not respond to claims from Cruz that the FBI could have incited the events of Jan. 6, 2021.

Epps, the FBI and the Justice Department have spoken publicly out about the accusations.

Theories about Epps' role stem from a number of places, including his addition to, then mystery removal from the FBI's "most wanted" list following the riot, as well as several videos of him on Jan. 5 appearing to encourage a crowd to go into the Capitol the following day.
