  • BOARD REPORTS. Caught up with them & recent anon ban appeals. Unbanned all anons banned "for no reason."

  • BVs REMOVED. Board logs showed that only one BV has been active in the last five weeks and all he did was ban for no reason. Don't think I have to explain why removed.

  • NEW BV's. All active participants on this board for years. Responsible anons who have proven their worth many times over.

Dr. Fauci knew about HCQ in 2005 โ€“ nobody needed to die

 

Dr. Anthony Fauci, whose โ€œexpertโ€ advice to President Trump has resulted in the complete shutdown of the greatest economic engine in world historyhas known since 2005 that chloroquine is an effective inhibitor of coronaviruses.

 

How did he know this? Because of research done by the National Institutes of Health, of which he is the director. In connection with the SARS outbreak - caused by a coronavirus dubbed SARS- CoV - the NIH researched chloroquine and concluded that it was effective at stopping the SARS coronavirus in its tracks. The COVID-19 bug is likewise a coronavirus, labeled SARS-CoV-2. While not exactly the same virus as SARS-CoV-1, it is genetically related to it, and shares 79% of its genome, as the name SARS-CoV-2 implies. They both use the same host cell receptor, which is what viruses use to gain entry to the cell and infect the victim.

 

The Virology Journal - the official publication of Dr. Fauciโ€™s National Institutes of Health - published what is now a blockbuster article on August 22, 2005, under the heading - get ready for this - โ€œChloroquine is a potent inhibitor of SARS coronavirus infection and spread.โ€ (Emphasis mine throughout.) Write the researchers, โ€œWe reportโ€ฆthat chloroquine has strong antiviral effects on SARS-CoV infection of primate cells. These inhibitory effects are observed when the cells are treated with the drug either before or after exposure to the virus, suggesting both prophylactic and therapeutic advantage.โ€

 

This means, of course, that Dr. Fauci has known for 15 years that chloroquine and itโ€™s even milder derivative hydroxychloroquine (HCQ) will not only treat a current case of coronavirus (โ€œtherapeuticโ€) but prevent future cases (โ€œprophylacticโ€). So HCQ functions as both a cure and a vaccine. In other words, itโ€™s a wonder drug for coronavirus. Said Dr. Fauciโ€™s NIH in 2005, โ€œconcentrations of 10 ฮผM completely abolished SARS-CoV infection.โ€ Fauciโ€™s researchers add, โ€œchloroquine can effectively reduce the establishment of infection and spread of SARS-CoV.โ€

 

"The highly-publicized VA studyโ€ฆ.HCQ was administered without azithromycin and zinc, which form the cocktail that makes it supremely effective.

On March 23, Dr. Vladimir Zelenko reported that he had treated around 500 coronavirus patients with HCQ and had seen an astonishing 100% success rate. Thatโ€™s not the โ€œanecdotalโ€ evidence Dr. Fauci sneers at, but actual results with real patients in clinical settings.

MI5 warns Chinese government 'agent' has been 'active' in UK parliament, MPs told

MI5 has warned that a Chinese government agent has been working in parliament "to subvert the processes", MPs have been told.

 

A letter was sent to MPs by Speaker Sir Lindsay Hoyle who said MI5 warned him a woman called Christine Lee has been "engaged in political interference activities on behalf of the Chinese Communist Party, engaging with members here at parliament".

 

MI5 sent out an "interference alert" warning Ms Lee has "facilitated financial donations to serving and aspiring parliamentarians on behalf of foreign nationals based in Hong Kong and Chinaโ€ฆdone covertly to mask the origins of the payments".

 

Labour frontbencher and former minister Barry Gardiner has been named as an MP who accepted large donations from the Chinese woman, and he confirmed her son was working for him but resigned today.

 

The security service said Ms Lee, a lawyer, has been involved with MPs and hopeful MPs as well as members of the now-disbanded all-party parliamentary group, Chinese in Britain.

 

In the alert, it said: "Lee has acted covertly in coordination with the United Front Work Department of the Chinese Communist Party (UFWD) and is judged to be involved in political interference activities in the UK."

 

Sir Lindsay told MPs if they have been approached by Ms Lee they should contact parliament's director of security.

 

Ms Lee has been pictured over the years with former Labour leader Jeremy Corbyn, talking to David Cameron in 2015 and was given a prize by Theresa May for "promoting engagement, understanding and cooperation between the Chinese community and wider UK society".

 

The law firm she runs claims to be the "first and only" UK-Chinese law firm authorised by the Chinese Ministry of Justice as a foreign law firm to operate in China.

 

The MPs' register of interests shows Ms Lee has made more than ยฃ700,000 in donations to parliamentarians, much of that to Mr Gardiner.

 

He told Sky News he has been liaising with MI5 "for a number of years" about Ms Lee "and they have always known, and been made fully aware by me, of her engagement with my office and the donations she made to fund researchers in my office".

 

Mr Gardiner added: "Steps were taken to ensure she had no role in either the appointment or management of those researchers.

 

"They are also aware that I have not benefitted personally from those donations in any way. She ceased funding any workers in my office in June 2020."

 

He said MI5 has assured him funding Ms Lee provided to him was not through "improper" means.

 

Mr Gardiner added that her son had been working for him as a diary manager but he resigned earlier on Thursday and MI5 said they "have no intelligence that shows he was aware of, or complicit in, his mother's illegal activity".

 

The MP's register of interests also shows current Lib Dem leader Ed Davey received a ยฃ5,000 donation from Ms Lee in 2013.

 

China-sanctioned Tory raises concerns over safety of activists

 

Leading Tory Iain Duncan Smith, who is among several MPs China has placed sanctions on for speaking up against its treatment of the Uyghurs, told Sky News Ms Lee should be made to leave the UK and said he was concerned for people he is helping flee the Chinese regime.

 

He said: "I think this is clearly a form of spying, I hear they're not going to be kicked out.

 

"Why in heaven's name is such an agent allowed in the country?"

 

Mr Duncan Smith said his offices may have been targeted for information of people he was helping escape China.

 

"I don't want to be the source of information about them that goes back to the Chinese government for them to be arrested or their families to be abused. This is a serious, serious issue and has massive repercussions."

 

Home Secretary Priti Patel said she knew people will be "deeply concerned" about a Chinese agent targeting MPs but said this was only identified because of the "strong structures the United Kingdom has in place to identify foreign interference or any potential threats to our democracy".

 

She added: "Proportionate action is always taken to mitigate these threats, thanks to our world-leading intelligence and security agencies".

Getting down to their core argument:

 

In episode #1757, Rogan hosted Dr. Robert Malone, who was suspended from Twitter for spreading misinformation about COVID-19. Dr. Malone used the JRE platform to further promote numerous baseless claims, including several falsehoods about COVID-19 vaccines and an unfounded theory that societal leaders have โ€œhypnotizedโ€ the public. Many of these statements have already been discredited.

 

The links go to an instagram slideshow and three MSM 'fact checks' - one of which doesn't even discuss Malone, and say his actions are not only "objectionable and offensive, but also medically and culturally dangerous."

 

And of course, just three of the signatories are immunologists, roughly 10% are nurses or nurse practitioners, and 33 are some type of 'assistant' (professor, nurse, lab, etc.). In short - hardly any of these people are qualified to refute Malone, which is probably why they link to 'fact checks' instead of compiling their own response on the merits of what Malone said.

Putin Declares "Mission Accomplished" In Kazakhstan As Russian Troops Start Pullout

 

After earlier in the week announcing that its troop draw down from neighboring Kazakhstan will commence "within two days," the Russian government has confirmed Thursday that its forces have initiated an exit of some 2,000-3,000 peacekeeping forces from the country.

 

"A Russia-led military bloc began pulling its troops out of Kazakhstan on Thursday after a week-long deployment during the worst bout of unrest in the Central Asian nation's post-Soviet history," Reuters confirmed. Russia's defense ministry at the same time informed President Putin that all Russian soldiers are expected to be out by Jan.19. "They have to return home," Putin said during a meeting on the Kazakhstan crisis aired on national TV. "Theyโ€™ve accomplished their task."

 

After dozens of security forces were reported killed and wounded, with hundreds of police injuries also reported, Kazakh President Kassym-Jomart Tokayev had dubbed efforts to reign in last week's raging protests and rioting which was triggered by a fuel price hike as "counter-terrorism".

 

The Kremlin too, backed this declaration, and the Russia-led bloc under the CSTO Collective Security Council voted to send in troops to assist Kazakh security forces.

 

Kazakh authorities have now said that key sensitive facilities that had been guarded by Russian forces are now being handed over on Thursday. CSTO Secretary General Stanislav Zas announced the formal end of the peacekeeping mission, which included Belarusian troops and small contingents of other regional allies, as follows:

 

"Today, thanks to the joint and coordinated actions of the CSTO peacekeepers, the armed forces and law enforcement officers of the Republic of Kazakhstan, the situation in the country has stabilized. During the operation, we gained invaluable experience of close cooperation between the peacekeeping contingents of the organizationโ€™s member states in countering terrorism and [counteracting] the destructive forces in the country."

 

The pullout and logistics are expected to take several days, and could be wrapped up before the Jan.19 target date.

 

Kazakh authorities have hailed the Russian forces as having helped locate and detain "bandits" and foreign militants who helped fuel last week's violence. While some sporadic protests have continued, the large cities, especially Almaty, began to be pacified days ago - but this after a number of central government buildings were burned and destroyed.

Labour MP Barry Gardiner has issued a statement noting that he did not engage in any illegal activity when he received funds from a woman named Christine Lee, who has since been accused by MI5 of being a Chinese โ€œagent.โ€

 

Westminster has been rocked by an alleged spy scandal after MPs were notified by the House Speaker of an alert from intelligence agency MI5 about a suspected foreign agent attempting to interfere on behalf of the Chinese Communist Party.

 

The allegations center around Christine Lee, a Chinese woman who worked with British lawmakers and the all-party parliamentary group โ€˜Chinese in Britain,โ€™ which has now been disbanded.

 

Speaker Lindsay Hoyle wrote to MPs after being contacted by MI5. In his letter, he stated that Lee had allegedly โ€œengaged in political interference activities on behalf of the Chinese Communist Party, engaging with Members here at Parliament.โ€

 

According to British tabloid The Sun, Lee had links to Labour MP Barry Gardiner. In 17 years, Lee had reportedly donated over ยฃ675,000 to either Gardiner's office or to the Labour Party.

 

Responding to the reports of Lee's funding, Gardiner said in a statement on Wednesday that the security services had long been made aware of his association with Lee and that efforts were made to ensure that he personally did not benefit from her funding.

 

Gardiner said that these donations funded researchers in his office in the past and Lee had no role in either the appointment or management of those researchers. โ€œShe ceased funding any workers in my office in June 2020,โ€ he added.

 

The MP also said that the British security services have assured him that โ€œwhilst they have definitively identified improper funding channelled through Christine Lee, this does not relate to any funding received by my office.โ€

 

Leeโ€™s son had also been working as a diary manager for Gardiner and resigned from his position on Thursday morning, the MP said. โ€œThe Security Services have advised me that they have no intelligence that shows he was aware of, or complicit in, his motherโ€™s illegal activity,โ€ Gardiner added.

 

The MP said he was ready to cooperate with MI5 in any possible way.

 

Lee was also awarded a โ€˜Points of Lightโ€™ award for volunteering by then-Prime Minister Theresa May. In a letter to Lee, May praised her for โ€œpromoting engagement, understanding, and cooperation between the Chinese and British communities in the UK.โ€

 

On receiving the award, Lee said that the wellbeing of the British Chinese community in the UK would always be of great importance to her.

Swift backlash caused the publication to delete tweets promoting the article, which was originally titled "What the public keeps getting wrong about pedophilia," before being edited to "The complicated research behind pedophilia."

 

"Pedophilia is viewed as among the most horrifying social ills. But scientists who study the sexual disorder say it is also among the most misunderstood," the article begins.

 

"When most of the public thinks of pedophilia, they assume it's synonymous with child sexual abuse, a pervasive social problem that has exploded to crisis levels online," USA Today national correspondent Alia E. Dastagir wrote. "Researchers who study pedophilia say the term describes an attraction, not an action, and using it interchangeably with 'abuse' fuels misperceptions."

 

The article cites psychologist Anna Salter, who argues, "There are the people who are sexually attracted to children โ€ฆ (and then) there are some people who molest kids who are not pedophiles. They molest kids because of anger. They molest kids because they're scared of adult women. They molest kids to get revenge, but they don't actually have an age preference for prepubescent children."

 

The article quotes James Cantor โ€“ a clinical psychologist, sex researcher, and former editor-in-chief of Sexual Abuse: A Journal of Research and Treatment. In 2018, Cantor advocated for pedophilia to be labeled as a sexual preference and be included in the LGBTQ+ collective.

A timeline of the trip describes how Clinton met with the โ€œdelegation in the presence chamber of the State Councilโ€ on October 21st, 2009.

 

The delegation later met with Obama-era Deputy Secretary of Defense William Lynn and then-Vice Chairman of the Joint Chiefs of Staff General James Cartwright.

 

CAIFCโ€™s report on the visit also reveals that among the bodies funding the exchange were China-United States Exchange Foundation (CUSEF) and the U.S.-based establishment think tank, Center for Strategic and International Studies. CUSEF, however, is a Chinese Communist Party-funded propaganda initiative chaired by Tung Chee Hwa, the vice-chairman of CCP advisory body the Chinese Peopleโ€™s Political Consultative Conference and a former head of Hong Kong.

 

The foundation is a registered Chinese foreign agent that often targets American universities with offers to fund policy research, high-level dialogues, and exchange programs. While U.S. government officials were willing to accept their donations, many schools, including the University of Texas at Austin, have divested from CUSEF in light of these compromising ties.

 

The CAIFC delegationโ€™s visit to the U.S. was not the only time Clinton family had interacted with the group, however.

 

According to Politico, a CAIFC-sponsored business aviation event was one of many โ€œred flags from [the] State [Department] for proposals for paid speechesโ€ from Chinese Communist Party-linked groups for former President Bill Clinton. Reportedly, the State Department blocked Bill Clinton from participating in the speech, which was declined on the basis of alleged scheduling conflicts.

 

This unearthed connection follows The National Pulse linking an Obama-era Central Intelligence Agency (CIA) board member and Brookings Institute Fellow to CAIFC, as Michael Oโ€™Hanlon visited the think tank in 2012.

Illinois judge slammed for reversing teenโ€™s rape conviction

 

An Illinois judge is facing heat for reversing an 18-year-old manโ€™s sexual assault conviction at the teenโ€™s sentencing last week โ€” saying the 148 days he spent in jail since his arrest was enough, reports said.

 

Adams County Judge Robert Adrian issued the stunning reversal last Monday after finding Drew Clinton guilty of one count of criminal sexual assault at an October bench trial, the Herald-Whig reported.

 

โ€œMr. Clinton has served almost five months in the county jail, 148 days,โ€ Adrian said, according to a court transcript obtained by the newspaper.

 

โ€œFor what happened in this case, that is plenty of punishment. That would be a just sentence.โ€

 

Clinton was convicted of sexually assaulting a 16-year-old girl at a graduation party last May.

 

He had faced a mandatory minimum sentence of four years. Adrianโ€™s decision came after Clintonโ€™s attorneys filed two post-trial motions and the judge ruled prosecutors failed to prove their case, the newspaper reported.

 

Following Adrianโ€™s ruling, the distraught victim went public with her story โ€” recounting the sexual assault to reporters and detailing her emotional reaction when she learned Adrian was set free.

In his latest gaffe-filled appearance before cameras, Joe Biden urged big tech companies to act against anyone who spreads COVID-19 โ€œmisinformation or disinformationโ€ and demanded that they work with his administration to do this.

 

Before calling on big tech to enforce the White Houseโ€™s strict ideological conformity on COVID-19, Biden blamed the state of the pandemic on vaccine resisters.

 

โ€œUnfortunately while our militaryโ€™s stepping up, as they always do, there are others sitting on the sidelines, and worse standing in the way,โ€ said Biden.

After belittling the unvaccinated and devaluing personal choice, Biden then declared that only following his orders would end the COVID-19 pandemic.

 

โ€œCOVID-19 is one of the most formidable enemies our country has ever faced, and weโ€™ve got to work together, not against each other,โ€ he concluded.

 

Biden did not acknowledge that tech companies have long cooperated with the federal government on COVID-19.

 

Twitter recently announced a fact checking partnership to enforce ideological rigidity, YouTube will ban users who reference COVID-19 facts not approved by the World Health Organization, and we now know that Facebook, now Meta, personally reached out to Anthony Fauci to offer help in advancing the White Houseโ€™s narratives.

 

More recently, tech companies have offered Bidenโ€™s White House the additional favor of banning one of the Democratsโ€™ most vocal political opponents, Rep. Marjorie Taylor Greene.

 

Greeneโ€™s personal Twitter account and Facebook page were both purged, leading to an exodus to alt tech platforms including Gab and Telegram.

 

Apparently none of this is enough for Joe Biden.

โ€œWe judge that the UFWD is seeking to covertly interfere in UK politics through establishing links with established and aspiring parliamentarians across the political spectrum,โ€ the MI5 alert also stated. โ€œThe UFWD seeks to cultivate relationships with influential figures in order to ensure the UK political landscape is favourable to the CCPโ€™s agenda and to challenge those that raise concerns about CCP activity, such as human rights.โ€

 

โ€œLee has been engaged in the facilitation of financial donations to political parties, parliamentarians, aspiring parliamentarians and individuals seeking political office in the UK, including facilitating donations to political entities on behalf of foreign nationals,โ€ the alert continued.

 

The Telegraph also reports that Lee is listed as a donor to Labour MP and former Shadow Secretary of State for International Trade, Barry Gardiner.

 

A Document on the official website of the UK parliament lists โ€œChristine Lee & Coโ€ as a donor to the MP, with giving amounting to nearly ยฃ60,000 over two years.

 

According to a report by The Guardian, alerts like the one issued by the MI5 in relation to Lee are exceedingly rare, with no alert having ever been released before in relation to China, and only one ever in relation to Russia.

 

Speaking on the issue, UK Home Secretary Priti Patel said that while she knew people would be โ€œdeeply concernedโ€ over the report, she said that there are โ€œstrong structures the United Kingdom has in place to identify foreign interference or any potential threats to our democracyโ€.

 

โ€œWhere necessary, proportionate action is always taken to mitigate these threats, thanks to our world-leading intelligence and security agencies,โ€ Sky News reports Patel as saying.

SCJ Sotomayor Unvaccinated

 

As most know, the Supreme Court is currently entertaining arguments as to whether the criminal Biden Administrationโ€™s Covid-19 vaccination mandates are lawful and constitutional. Conservative Justices have either withheld an opinion or said that both Section 564 of the Food, Drug, and Cosmetic Act and the Constitution of the United States prohibit a government body from compelling a citizen to undergo medical treatment. Covid-19 vaccinations are analogous to medical care, SCJ Brett Kavanaugh has said. On the other hand, the Courtโ€™s liberal quartet has preached the opposite, saying that the Biden administration has a duty and responsibility to protect American lives through vigorously enforced mandates.

 

The most vociferous proponent of mandates is Sonia Sotomayor, an Obama appointee who last week falsely claimed that 100,000 American children are currently hospitalized with Covid-19. Her claim was so outrageously specious that even her MSM and CDC allies were quick to refute it.

 

But it is not the first time Sotomayor misused her platform. Whereas a SCJโ€™s function is to unbiasedly interpret the law, Sotomayor often subverts it by infusing a noxious mixture of opinion and attitude into her judicial rulings. Prior to receiving ethics complaints, she promoted social justice reform and medical mandates on her now vacuous Twitter account.

 

Worse, sheโ€™s the worst kind of hypocrite.

 

Unlike her colleagues, Sotomayor, who has said sheโ€™s been vaccinated and boosted, is not hearing arguments in the courtroom. Rather, she cowers in her office and, double masked, broadcasts her pudgy face over ZOOM into the courtroom. She has said she does this for fear of catching Covid.

 

The truth, at least according to former law clerks and unpaid interns of Sotomayorโ€™s, is that Sotomayor is unvaccinated and could justifiably be called an anti-vaxxer.

 

Penny Sampson is a 24-year-old law student who was accepted into the Supreme Court internship program in Spring of 2021, just before it began a moratorium due to the Plandemic. Her responsibilities at the Office of the Clerk included responding to case-related inquiries from attorneys and litigants, both in-person and on the telephone, and assisting the full-time Clerkโ€™s Office employees with a wide variety of tasks, including the processing and maintenance of Court filings and records. The internship also put her in sporadic contact with Sotomayor.

She said she was looking out for me, and we parted ways. Intuition and speculation, of course, prove nothing, and we included Ms. Sampsonโ€™s story only because it supports the contention of a law clerk whose testimony supplies a more concrete view of Sotomayorโ€™s stance on vaccinations.

 

Between 2020-2021, Mark Cull, an alias, was one of eight law clerks that had worked under Sotomayor during that period. He asked to remain anonymous fearing that speaking openly might derail potential employment opportunities.

 

In February 2021, Mr. Cull overheard a telephone conversation between Sotomayor and the Evil One, Barack Hussein Obama. Although Mr. Cull did not hear Obamaโ€™s voice, he is certain it was him because Sotomayor kept addressing the caller as โ€œMr. Presidentโ€ and at the conclusion of the call said, โ€œGive my best to Michelle.โ€

 

โ€œJustice Sotomayor was on the phone 20 minutes or so. At one point, she got silent a moment, then said โ€˜Yes, Iโ€™ve been warned already. Iโ€™m not taking the vaccine, and neither is my family, and, yes, Iโ€™ll be extremely judicious who I advise.โ€™ I was at my desk in the vestibule outside her office, and she probably paid me no mind because Iโ€™d had earbuds in my ears with the music off. It was clear to me that something had to be wrong with the vaccine. Thatโ€™s why Iโ€™m still unvaccinated,โ€ Mr. Cull said.

 

In closing, itโ€™s painfully apparent that Sotomayor, like most devious Democrats, has a public and private face. On one side, sheโ€™s advocating that every American citizen get vaccinated; on the other, sheโ€™s not only avoiding getting vaccinated herself but also advising her colleagues and family to follow her lead.

A former middle school principal was arrested last week in Indiana on two felony counts of Child Seduction for an illegal sexual relationship he had with a minor girl, who he took to a Chicago Planned Parenthood for a secret abortion.

 

According to a probable cause affidavit (see below) circulated recently by several news agencies, the victim had just turned 16 when Peter Allen Downey, then 45, began a physical relationship with her in 2008. She became impregnated by him later that year. On September 2, 2008, Downy drove the victim from the Fort Wayne, Indiana area where they both lived to the Planned Parenthood abortion facility located at 1200 N. LaSalle Dr. in Chicago, Illinois, where she obtained an abortion at about six weeks into her pregnancy.

 

The victim had kept paperwork and an ultrasound photo she had received from Planned Parenthood Police say that paperwork listed Downeyโ€™s true name and a phone number that his ex-wife confirmed was the number of land line to a home they once shared in Fort Wayne.

 

Even though the abortion was done on an out-of-state minor accompanied by a suspicious 45-year-old man who was not related to her, there is no evidence that Planned Parenthood ever reported suspected underage sexual abuse. CNN Producer Hit With New Lawsuit Over Alleged Sex Trafficking of 9-Year-Old 'Jane Doe'

 

A $15 million civil lawsuit has been filed against former CNN producer John Griffin, who is already facing federal charges of child trafficking.

 

โ€œFor several years prior to 2020, the defendant solicited young girls, including the minor plaintiff, for the purpose of knowingly persuading, inducing, enticing and coercing them to engage in sexual activity, sexual exploitation, and/or sexual trafficking,โ€ the lawsuit, filed last week in Bridgeport, Connecticut, alleges, according to Fox News, which posted a copy of the lawsuit online as well as a claim to restrain Griffinโ€™s assets for up to $15 million.

 

Griffin, who formerly produced Chris Cuomoโ€™s show on CNN, faces one charge of child trafficking along with two counts of attempted trafficking.

 

The lawsuitโ€™s goal is to ensure no matter what happens to the criminal charges, Griffin has to pay, according to the lawyer who filed the suit.

 

โ€œWe are seeking to restrain his assets so he doesnโ€™t have the financial wherewithal to abuse another child,โ€ attorney Joel Faxon said, according to Connecticut Insider.

 

Faxon said the lawsuit involves the same 9-year-old child who was mentioned in the indictments against Griffin.

 

That child, who was a resident of Nevada, was allegedly brought to Vermont by her adopted mother and participated in sexual activities that later resulted in the indictment against Griffin.

 

The lawsuit claims the child suffered emotional and other damage as a result of her interaction with Griffin.

 

The adopted mother faces charges in Nevada, leading the child to be sent to live with a custodian in Connecticut.

 

Griffin is accused of inviting multiple women to Vermont to participate in the โ€œsexual trainingโ€ of their children.

 

The lawsuit says Griffin is alleged to have told those he tried to recruit that they could help him see that a โ€œminor childโ€ was โ€œtrained properly.โ€

 

The suit said Griffin is also alleged to have said that โ€œwhen handled properly, a woman is a woman regardless of her age.โ€

 

The evidence against Griffin in the federal indictment against him includes drone video of a โ€œcompletely naked 9-year-old girlโ€ shown with Griffin, according to court filings.

 

โ€œWhen confronted with this video during an interview by FBI agents, Griffinโ€™s first response was merely to suggest he was not looking at the naked girl, despite that she was standing so close to him to be touching,โ€ according to a memo issued to support detaining Griffin.

 

Griffin is currently being held in Vermont without bail.

 

CNN fired Griffin in December after the charges against him were made public.

US Air Force vet defense contractor in Japan sought sex with a 13-year-old, gets 10 years in prison

 

A Highlands County, Florida, father and husband, working in Japan for a U.S. Department of Defense subcontractor, tried to consummate his monthslong online relationship with a 13-year-old girl by flying her to Northern Japan to have sex.

 

Whether or not Garrett Pako, 29, was conversing with an actual 13-year-old isnโ€™t clearly stated by the Fort Pierce federal court paperwork. But Pako thought he was and he pleaded guilty to attempted coercion or enticement of a minor to engage in sexual activity. Pako received the minimum 10-year sentence.

 

A court filing by Pako says the resident of Highlands Countyโ€™s Venus area had been honorably discharged from the U.S. Air Force in 2018 after serving six years. During his time in the Air Force, he met and married his wife, with whom he has two kids, a 5-year-old and 3-year-old.

 

The wife and children lived in Japan, where, the indictment says, Pako was working in Shariki, Japan, at the Shariki Communications Site as a Chenega Security security guard.

 

Court documents and the U.S. Department of Justice say Pako met a girl he believed to be 13 on a dating app while traveling in Okinawa. From Feb. 13, 2020, through June 9, 2020, the man who also goes by โ€œKinky Bearโ€ and โ€œK. Kingโ€ sent Hentai (pornography with anime content) cartoons of toddlers to the girl and a video of himself masturbating.

Cost for Afghan Refugees at Bases Reaches $688 Million, Pentagon Says

 

The military's total cost for housing tens of thousands of Afghan refugees at U.S. bases has already topped $688 million, according to the Defense Department.

 

The most recent figure accounts for refugee villages set up at eight bases from August through mid-December, the department told Military.com on Wednesday. The cost is certain to rise as about 19,500 Afghans remain on installations awaiting permanent resettlement.

 

More than 76,000 refugees arrived in the U.S. as part of Operation Allies Welcome when Kabul fell to the Taliban and the military ended its 20-year campaign in war-torn Afghanistan. Many of the refugees worked with U.S. forces, and the U.S. military undertook one of the largest airlifts in history to bring them to safety.

 

The cost is a drop in the bucket compared to this year's $741 billion budget for defense. Congress has already passed $13.3 billion in funding for the resettlement effort, which supports the Pentagon as well as the Department of Homeland Security, State Department, and Department of Health and Human Services.

 

But the military services are also dealing with an oncoming budget crisis. Congress has yet to agree on spending legislation for the current fiscal year, which began in September, and may punt on funding the entire rest of the year after a series of stopgap measures divided Democrats and Republicans.

 

The budget stalemate must be worked out by next month, when the current short-term funding expires.

 

The cost has also riled some Republicans in Congress. Sen. James Lankford, R-Okla., opposed the approved funding, saying it was more than the entire budget of his home state, which has over 4 million residents.

 

Afghans remain at five U.S. bases. The number reported by DHS at Joint Base McGuire-Dix-Lakehurst, New Jersey, is 9,700; Fort McCoy, Wisconsin, 4,400; Fort Pickett, Virginia, 2,700; Camp Atterbury, Indiana, 1,100; and Holloman Air Force Base, New Mexico, 1,600.

 

Meanwhile, three bases have wrapped up missions housing the Afghan men, women and children. Marine Corps Base Quantico in Virginia housed and helped resettle 3,755 Afghans.

 

The Marine base created housing at an old officer candidate school and built tent facilities, provided three daily meals, internet services and educational classes. The effort was managed by 924 DoD personnel, according to an inspector general report.

 

The total cost for Quantico was $188 million, the IG found. The DoD watchdog is conducting a series of audits on the resettlement program.

NCAA RELEASES UPDATED COVID-19 GUIDANCE FOR WINTER SPORTS, NATURAL IMMUNITY NOW ACCEPTED FOR ATHLETES

 

The NCAA has released updated guidance for winter sports competing during the COVID-19 pandemic. The 2022 Winter Training and Competition document follows recent updates by the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention, including recommendations for quarantine and isolation. The updated guidance addresses broad considerations that differentiate COVID-19 management in Tier 1 individuals based on vaccination and other immunity considerations.

 

For purposes of the winter guidelines, the NCAA COVID-19 Medical Advisory Group has developed a definition of โ€œfully vaccinatedโ€ that considers both vaccination status and other immunity factors that may impact risks for Tier 1 individuals, including student-athletes and coaches. Those considered fully vaccinated include people:

 

Within two months of having completed the primary series of the Johnson & Johnson vaccine (one dose).

Within five months of having completed the primary series of the mRNA Pfizer vaccine, or within six months of having completed the primary series of the mRNA Moderna vaccine (two doses for both).

Who have received a booster vaccine if they are beyond two months of the Johnson & Johnson vaccine or beyond five or six months of the mRNA Pfizer or Moderna vaccine, respectively.

 

A person who has had a documented COVID-19 infection in the past 90 days is considered the equivalent of โ€œfully vaccinated.โ€

 

COVID-19 management considerations suggest five days of quarantine after a positive test with isolation ending after five days if there are no symptoms or symptoms are resolving. Considerations also include masking around others for five additional days. Participation in athletic activities without a mask during days six through 10 can be considered following a negative PCR/NAAT test or antigen test.

 

The updated guidance also extends to close contacts. Those who are not fully vaccinated should quarantine at home for five days with no participation in athletic activities, followed by masking for five additional days. Participation in athletic activities without a mask can be considered during days six through 10 following a negative PCR/NAAT test or antigen test.

 

Close contacts who are considered fully vaccinated or who have had a recent infection do not need to quarantine but should wear a mask around others socially for 10 days when not actively training/competing. Athletic activities are permitted without a mask. Individuals should test on day five, if possible, and test if symptomatic.

 

โ€œThe omicron variant has presented another surge of cases across the country,โ€ NCAA Chief Medical Officer Brian Hainline said. โ€œThis guidance was designed to align with the latest public health directives. Given how the pandemic continues to evolve, itโ€™s important that staff on member campuses continue to work with their local and state health officials on protocols most suitable for their locations.โ€

 

The guidelines are for Tier 1 individuals and include other recommendations that carry over from the fall for testing and other athletic and nonathletic activities. As previously defined, Tier 1 individuals are those with the highest exposure (for example, student-athletes, coaches, athletic trainers, physical therapists, medical staff, equipment staff and officials).

Israeli cyber company NSOโ€™s Pegasus technology was allegedly used to spy on 35 journalists and civil society workers in El Salvador, according to a new report by The Citizen Lab and Access Now.

The organizations said that they discovered 35 phones that had been infected with the spyware between July 2020 and November 2021. The groups said that they shared a sample of forensic data with Amnesty Internationalโ€™s Security Lab which independently confirmed the findings.

Ray Epps, accused by some of being part of an FBI operation to stage the Jan. 6 Capitol riot, has told the special House committee investigating the incident that he has no ties to the agency or other branches of law enforcement.

 

"Mr. Epps informed us that he was not employed by, working with, or acting at the direction of any law enforcement agency on January 5th or 6th or at any other time, and that he has never been an informant for the FBI or any other law enforcement agency," a committee aide said Tuesday after Epps was interviewed by panel members.

 

On Tuesday, Republican Sens. Ted Cruz, of Texas, and Tom Cotton, of Arkansas, made reference to and asked about Epps during the questioning of FBI official Jill Sanborn on Capitol Hill.

 

Sanborn repeatedly refused to comment on Epps and did not respond to claims from Cruz that the FBI could have incited the events of Jan. 6, 2021.

 

Epps, the FBI and the Justice Department have spoken publicly out about the accusations.

 

Theories about Epps' role stem from a number of places, including his addition to, then mystery removal from the FBI's "most wanted" list following the riot, as well as several videos of him on Jan. 5 appearing to encourage a crowd to go into the Capitol the following day.
