The deadly payload is able to jump the blood/brain barrier. Now their brains are being eaten up by their own (failing) immune systems, like in chronic wasting disease. They were stupid in the first place, or they would never have rushed down and begged a stranger to inject them with deadly poisons. Now they are getting stupider by the day. They should have taken even kindergarten level measures to find out about the jab first, but were too lazy. And many of them already were beyond help anyway, from group formation psychosis.
