A good reminder to parents.. if your child needs shots (don’t agree w shots but anyway), make sure you insist on being in the room and check and doublecheck the syringes contents. Do this for any medication they’re putting in their body.

 

Along that note, do the same with any loved one of family member. Be their adcovate. Do a basic search on pharm dosage shorthand and make sure it’s all correct.. (the difference between bid and tid could kill someone, as well as a .01 and 0.10). Mistakes and negligence are very, very common.

Agree, but I’m talking any kind of injection, even a local anesthetic. They want to put someone in your kid, you need to make sure it is what it should be. I even make the dentist show me the Novocain.
