People sense overall intention
That is inate to motivation
When starting out I looked for owners and managers that got it right and those that got it wrong
Always came down to intent
Those that got it right had their own well seasoned and developed style, they liked the good and hated the bad. Loads of common sense and they worked for a win win outcomes
Ineffective ones ran their businesses into the ground because it was all about how they felt, what they felt, what they wanted…
