Aluminum cans have a varnish coating applied to the inside of the can during the process of completing the can after extrusion.
If the sprayer is even partially plugged, or if damage causes a scratch in the varnish, then whatever is in the can has direct contact with the aluminum.
Kinda like Russian roulette but uses aluminum instead of a gun.
If the drink tastes like metal, throw that puppy out.
