Truckistan anon here. Have done poutine and lived to tell the tale. Went downtown Ottawa to check things out earlier today.

think downtown core still mainly navigable by car, but there are a few streets near Parliament that are closed off, some by police barricades

Ottawa cops were mainly subdued, too, as there is ZERO threat to law and order. unlike San Fran, Ottawa core is being taken care of by the truckers and protesters.

only 1 twit chick with dark ski goggles and mask to be seen as a counter-protester. she was generally ignored, probably too ugly to get a date (with a downtown full of truckers, that's rather telling)
