Arizona State Rep. Mark Finchem Challenges House Speaker to Public Debate On Decertification: “Here’s My Cards. I’m Waiting To See Yours.”

 

Arizona Speaker of the House Rusty Bowers is expected to stonewall State Representative Mark Finchem’s historic resolution to reclaim Arizona’s fraudulent 2020 electors.

 

The Gateway Pundit reported that Mark Finchem introduced HCR 2033, a resolution to set aside and decertify three 2020 county elections and reclaim Arizona’s 2020 Presidential electors using the State Legislature’s plenary powers, granted by the Constitution.

 

peaker Rusty Bowers later told reporters that this resolution was “obviously unconstitutional and profoundly unwise” and indicated that he would not allow this bill to receive fair consideration.

 

When speaking to TGP correspondent Jordan Conradson, Finchem challenged Rusty Bowers and his attorneys to a public debate on the constitutionality of HCR 2033.

 

Finchem: The purpose of this body is to hear bills, to deliberate on proposals, to examine public policy. Frankly, I was shocked at the statement by the Speaker of the House. That tells me that he has every intention of blocking the passage, or at least even the consideration of ACR 2033. And if people want to read the evidence that is contained in the nine pages of this document, it is damning evidence. And anyone who denies that the evidence exists, they’re willfully disregarding the evidence that’s been turned over to the Arizona Attorney General’s Office. The document itself is an indictment of sloppy process and criminal behavior. Many of the things that are noted in there are crimes in the Arizona Elections Procedure Manual. Okay, so if we’re a nation of laws, and we live under the rule of law, that means that when you have things that happen in an election that make that election irredeemably compromised and with the jurisprudence that is listed on the last two pages of the resolution, items 12 and 13 detail the authority under the US Constitution. And there’s jurisprudence that goes all the way back to the late 1800s. That talks about the plenary authority of the legislature to step in, when a crime has been committed, and it affects an election. So for the Speaker of the House to say, “well, it’s unconstitutional?” I’m happy to put my constitutional scholars and lawyers up against whoever is advising him. And frankly, I think it would be great for us to have a public debate so that the people know what’s really going on instead of having it behind the doors of the legislature. This is not going away. And until this is fully examined, and the people are fully satisfied, they are going to believe that justice has been denied. And I suppose that’s one of the reasons that I’ve been elevated to some sort of champion for the people who believe that justice is denied. Now, was that the intention of this? No. But that seems to have been how it’s always played out. Now. What’s the next step? There will be members who are probably going to receive a lot of pressure and a lot of encouragement from their constituents. There may be people that come alongside and say, “Look, we really want this to come to the floor and we want to have the opportunity to vote on it.” Beyond that, we’ll just let this thing sit for a little while and let people contemplate their next move.

when mayor Dilkens asks for "assistance in Law enforcement" and the Canadian Military has already told Trudeau to pound salt……what kind of "help" could Mayor Dilkens be talking about that he is asking for? CIA/RCMP?

There is no "help" for Dilkens to obtain…..and the police chief is standing down.

The truckers need to rethink the severity their situation. If they all sign that paper, and the jail cells do not fill up, then the government absolutely will win the war, and they will do it by sheer attrition. The real winning strategy, which I have not yet seen being discussed, is to overwhelm the government's capacity to process detainees.

Portray a variety of role playing scenarios

Memorize critical data contained in each role

 

Be prepared for each role so as to portray assigned role(s) with no reliance to the role script (off book)

 

Ability to follow directions, be on time and keep within the assigned bounds of the training exercise's scope

 

Take direction, adjustments, and notes and quickly implement those changes moving forward

 

Convey information and data in response to students’ correct and proper interview skills, questioning and/or elicitation techniques, while simultaneously completing Government provided Student Evaluation Sheets, in accordance with Government provided references, procedures and forms

 

Realistically, accurately and convincingly portray your role

Oklahoma Attorney General John O'Connor says his office does not plan to discipline doctors for prescribing certain medications, including ivermectin and hydroxychloroquine, to treat COVID-19.

While approved ivermectin to treat animals and people for some parasites, lice and skin issues, the U.S. Food and Drug Administration hasn't approved it for COVID-19. O'Connor said in a news release that his office finds no legal basis for a state medical licensure board to discipline a licensed physician for prescribing a drug for the off-label purpose of treating a patient with COVID-19.

 

The Oklahoma attorney general said he stands behind doctors who believe ivermectin is in their patients' best interest.

"I stand behind doctors who believe it is in their patients’ best interests to receive ivermectin and hydroxychloroquine," O’Connor said in a statement. "Our health care professionals should have every tool available to combat COVID-19. Public safety demands this. Physicians who prescribe medications and follow the law should not fear disciplinary action for prescribing such drugs."

The news release adds that O'Connor's office neither condones nor condemns a specific course of treatment for COVID-19.

Inmates are suing an Arkansas jail and its doctor for unknowingly treating them with ivermectin for COVID-19 despite health warnings.

Due to a significant backlash from the public and U.S. lawmakers, the Internal Revenue Service (IRS) will no longer require taxpayers to send a "video selfie" to verify their identity, in order to access online services.

 

The IRS was set to implement the plan this summer.

 

It would have required taxpayers creating new online IRS accounts and/or obtaining tax transcripts online to verify their identity with a "video selfie," which would then be sent to a third party vendor, ID.me, to carry out the verification process.

 

The IRS system raised significant data privacy and security concerns among privacy advocates and citizens, considering the sensitivity of both the facial recognition and the taxpayer information it was designed to secure.

 

Lawmakers from both parties objected to the plan. That includes Sen. Ron Wyden (D-Oregon), chairman of the Senate Finance Committee who tweeted on Jan. 20 that he was "very disturbed that Americans may have to submit to a facial recognition system."

 

Wyden called on the IRS to stop the practice saying, "The IRS does not use facial recognition for tax filing or to receive a refund, and the agency should not require facial recognition for any of the other important services it provides taxpayers. I have long argued that Americans should not have to sacrifice their privacy for security,” he said.

 

Sen. Roger Wicker (R-Mississippi), the head Republican on the Senate Committee on Commerce, Science, and Transportation, is another lawmaker who recently wrote IRS commissioner Chuck Rettig, questioning the new policy.

 

It was Sen. Bill Huizenga (R-Michigan) who authored a bill in early February to ban the IRS from using facial recognition software on taxpayers.

 

"It shouldn't be legal," Huizenga told Fox Business in an interview announcing the bill.

 

"Every page we turned on it, it was like red flag going up after red flag," Huizenga said of the facial ID plans.

 

"I just don't trust them with this information in that one, I don't think they're going to be able to keep it secure and two, I don't trust them with what they will then do with the information."

 

IRS Commissioner Chuck Rettig responded in a statement saying:

 

“Everyone should feel comfortable with how their personal information is secured, and we are quickly pursuing short-term options that do not involve facial recognition.”

Ottawa City Councilman: Freedom Convoy Protesters Are ‘Well-Known Radicals,’ ‘Miscreants’

 

Matthew Luloff, an Ottawa City Councilman, told American taxpayer-funded NPR that the “Freedom Convoy” protests against coronavirus-related mandates in the city were fueled by “miscreants” embracing “hate symbols,” which defies on-the-ground reports showing peaceful demonstrations attracting people of all ages.

 

Luloff said the protest had “morphed into something much uglier” than what eyewitness reports had proven, without offering concrete evidence.

 

“When you say ugly, describe that to me,” an NPR host for Morning Edition asked Luloff.

 

“So some of the most well-known radicals in this country have now descended upon the capital,” Luloff said, failing to name any.

 

“Some of them are calling for violence. Some of them are threatening individual politicians. There have been, you know, threats against life and limb. And it’s incredibly discouraging. We’ve seen some hate symbols. We’ve seen flyers distributed that are acutely anti-Semitic,” he said.

Luloff blamed Trudeau’s intransigence on the issue — he has steadfastly refused to meet the protesters or address their concerns in any way — on the United States:

 

The prime minister has aligned our vaccination policy with the United States so that cross-border truckers are required to be vaccinated. The United States is our largest trading partner, and it is important that on policy matters like this that we are aligned to ensure the proper flow of goods. Canadian YouTuber David Freiheit, who operates under the name Viva Frei, told Breitbart News on Tuesday in Ottawa, ON, that the “legacy media” and “politicians” are “outright lying” about the Freedom Convoy in Canada’s capital city.

 

Freiheit has done hour-long livestreams from Ottawa across recent days, documenting events at and around Parliament Hill in the city’s downtown core.

 

“The first thing you need to know is that … the legacy media of Canada is outright lying,” Freiheit said when asked what distant observers should know about the ongoing demonstration in Ottawa. “The politicians are outright lying. They’re banking on the fact that a majority of the people are getting their news from the same outlets that they pay to lie.”

 

Those consuming and trusting “legacy news media,” he warned, end up believing false characterizations of the protest.

 

He remarked, “If you believe what you were told, you would not feel safe walking here, and you would think that something is going on here that is not going on here.”

 

The demonstrations include “people crying with joy,” he shared, while others “are crying from tragedy that they’ve gone through the last two years.”

 

The Freedom Convoy renewed many Canadians’ sense of patriotism, Freiheit held.

 

“People are saying that their face muscles hurt from smiling so much, and that they haven’t smiled so much in two years, that they haven’t been this proud to be Canadian in two years, and that they haven’t felt this level of patriotism in two years,” he stated.

 

Frei echoed sentiments shared by other demonstration supporters framing the event as defined by “love.”

 

He concluded, “When they talk about a summer of love, this would be a winter of love. [It is] nothing but people walking around, hugging, playing hockey, eating outside. This is nothing but the most peaceful, peace-loving, law-abiding people you’ve ever seen. They’re shoveling the sidewalks. They’re cleaning up their garbage. Photos indicate North Korea may be preparing military parade

SEOUL, South Korea (AP) — Satellite photos show hundreds of people in formation at a training ground in North Korea’s capital in a possible sign the country is preparing for a military parade amid heightened animosities over its recent missile tests.

 

The 38 North website, which specializes in North Korea studies, said Wednesday the Feb. 5 imagery taken on the Mirim airfield in Pyongyang — where rehearsals for past military parades occurred — likely signals a forthcoming parade.

 

North Korea often marks important anniversaries with parades and other displays, and the website noted several upcoming occasions, such as next week’s 80th birthday of Kim Jong Il, the late father of current leader Kim Jong Un, and April’s 110th birthday of Kim Il Sung, the late grandfather of Kim Jong Un.

 

The three Kims, who have been ruling North Korea successively since its foundation in 1948, are the subject of a strong personality cult among its 25 million people. The birthdays of the two late Kims are the country’s most important holidays, and its powerful Politburo recently decided to celebrate their upcoming birth anniversaries “with splendor” and make them as “the great festivals of victory and glory to shine long in the annals of the country.”

Pentagon advisor calls for more diversity in US military

 

Senior advisor to US Defense Secretary argues that the push to get more minorities into the US military has nothing to do with “culture wars”

 

Bishop Garrison, a senior advisor to US Secretary of Defense Lloyd Austin, pledged his support for more “diversity, equity, and inclusion” in the US military on Wednesday. He insisted the policy has nothing to do with ideology or a “culture war,” arguing that the approach would make the US military “more lethal” instead.

 

In a speech to the Center for a New American Security, Garrison said the military needed to do more to attract minority soldiers, who currently comprise roughly 41% of the US armed forces.

 

“We have to find out ways of getting to a broader talent pool and broader interest groups in order to bring those highly qualified, talented individuals in,” Garrison declared, claiming that a large percent of minorities “tend to get out” of the military before advancing to higher positions.

 

“We need to take a very data-driven approach to get a better understanding as to what's actually happening here. What is the problem? And how can we address it?” he added.

 

Garrison said he wanted “as many leaders and members of the total force as possible” to view diversity efforts “as a force multiplier.”

 

“[Garrison] wants them to see the program as a way to make the U.S. military more successful in achieving critical missions and in making forces more lethal,” the Pentagon said in a statement.

 

The senior advisor insisted that the military’s diversity efforts were not “diversity for diversity’s sake” and were “not just something that has to be done because of some type of cultural ideology or culture wars that are going on.”

 

“That's not the case at all,” stressed Garrison.

 

Garrison’s speech was criticized by conservatives, arguing that priorities of the US President Joe Biden administration with regards to the military have been misplaced.

Iran unveils new missile with reported region-wide range

 

TEHRAN, Iran (AP) — Iran unveiled a new missile on Wednesday with a reported range that would allow it to reach both U.S. bases in the region and targets inside its archfoe Israel.

 

State TV reported that the missile uses solid fuel and has a range of 1,450 kilometers (900 miles). It is called the Khaibar-buster, a reference to a Jewish castle overrun by Muslim warriors in the early days of Islam.

 

The report said the missile has high accuracy, is manufactured completely domestically, and can defeat missile shield systems. The information has not been independently verified.

 

Israel’s closest point to Iran is some 1,000 kilometers (620 miles) away. Iran has missiles that can travel up to 2,000 kilometers (1,250 miles).

 

The report comes as negotiations continue in Vienna to revive Tehran’s tattered nuclear deal with world powers. Iran, which has long said it does not seek nuclear weapons, insists its missile program is only a deterrent.

 

Meanwhile, U.S. President Joe Biden on Wednesday spoke with King Salman of Saudi Arabia. The White House said Biden briefed the Saudi leader on the multilateral talks aimed at getting Iran to return to compliance. Former President Donald Trump withdrew the U.S. from the deal in 2018.

 

White House press secretary Jen Psaki said on Wednesday a deal is “in sight” but warned that “if it’s not reached in the coming weeks Iran’s nuclear advances will make it impossible” for the U.S. to return to the deal.

 

Earlier in January Iran tested an engine for a solid-fuel rocket designed to launch satellites. Satellite carriers usually use liquid fuel but solid-fuel rockets can be adapted for mobile launchers that can be driven anywhere on a major road or rail system. Pure solid-fuel rockets are mostly associated with ballistic missiles systems.

PORTLAND — The Oregon Health Authority is reminding people to wear face masks while smoking crack at Thanksgiving celebrations. They are giving away free face masks with holes cut out in a major public health measure to allow Oregoners to keep smoking crack and be safe during the COVID-19 crisis.

 

“Our number one concern is keeping people safe and healthy during this pandemic,” Oregon Health Authority Directory Patrick Allen said at a press conference. “That’s why we are giving away free face masks with holes in them so that people can continue smoking cigarettes and crack or banana peels and obey the mask mandate while celebrating Thanksgiving.”

Crack cocaine was legalized in a November 3rd referendum along with all other illicit drugs while plastic straws were prohibited.

 

The face masks, which Governor Kate Brown has ordered that people wear in public, are fitted with small holes in the mouth area to allow easy access for cigarettes, crack pipes, or even non-plastic straws to drink the CDC COVID Kool-Aid.

“Many people have questioned the safety of a face mask with a hole in the mouth area, but what they really don’t know is that the face masks are really only for psychological purposes,” Allen said. “Face masks don’t really help so the holes don’t really hurt.”

The Health Authority is also releasing a designer line of tin foil face masks that they will sell. These designer face masks will also have a crack pipe hole in them.

The officer nominated to lead U.S. Central Command wants to use artificial intelligence to counter Iran, which he called the “No. 1 destabilizing factor” in the region.

 

America must step up its capabilities and maintain strong relationships, said Lt. Gen. Michael Kurilla, the commanding general of the XVIII Airborne Corps and the nominee to lead America’s military missions in the Middle East.

 

“Iran is the No. 1 destabilizing factor in the Middle East right now with their malign behavior,” Kurilla said at a Senate Armed Services Committee confirmation hearing. “Going through our partners and allies and strengthening those with a united front from all the partners and allies is the best way to confront them.”

 

He said the military must make better use of artificial intelligence, especially to counter Iran. He said the XVIII Airborne Corps does quarterly exercises to learn to use AI to detect targets for strikes, something he would bring to U.S. Central Command if he is confirmed.

 

“We must continue investing in technology, to include Artificial Intelligence and machine learning platforms and programs, to increase our ability to detect, defend, and respond to conventional Iranian military capabilities,” Kurilla wrote in written responses to questions from senators.

 

At the hearing, the Army general said it’s critical to help partners in the region to improve cyber defenses that can protect them from Iran’s “very capable offensive cyber capability.”

 

Kurilla also addressed the ballistic missiles that the Iranian-backed Houthis have recently fired into Saudi Arabia and the United Arab Emirates. In addition to working to integrate regional allies’ air defense systems to defend against such attacks, he also said it’s critical to publicly call out when Iran is behind strikes like those because it can prompt Tehran to pause its violence.

 

“We have to make sure we expose the Iranian malign behavior,” he said. “I have found that any time Iran’s hand behind this is exposed, it is helpful.”

 

Officials from the United States as well as from Iran, China, Russia, France, Germany, and the United Kingdom will meet Tuesday in Vienna for the latest round of talks to try to revive the Iran nuclear deal, from which President Donald Trump withdrew. Kurilla said that any “enforceable agreement” that comes out of the talks must ensure that Iran does not get a nuclear weapon.

 

He also acknowledged, however, that any sanctions relief offered to Iran in exchange for ending its pursuit of a nuclear weapon could end up hurting America on the battlefield.

 

“There is a risk with sanctions relief that Iran would use some of that money to support its proxies and terrorism in the region and if they did it could increase risk to our forces in the region,” he said.

A cDNA library is a combination of cloned cDNA (complementary DNA) fragments inserted into a collection of host cells, which constitute some portion of the transcriptome of the organism and are stored as a "library". cDNA is produced from fully transcribed mRNA found in the nucleus and therefore contains only the expressed genes of an organism. cDNA Library Construction

cDNA is created from a mature mRNA from a eukaryotic cell with the use of reverse transcriptase. In eukaryotes, a poly-(A) tail (consisting of a long sequence of adenine nucleotides) distinguishes mRNA from tRNA and rRNA and can therefore be used as a primer site for reverse transcription. This has the problem that not all transcripts, such as those for the histone, encode a poly-A tail.

 

mRNA extraction

Firstly, the mRNA is obtained and purified from the rest of the RNAs. Several methods exist for purifying RNA such as trizol extraction and column purification. Column purification is done by using oligomeric dT nucleotide coated resins where only the mRNA having the poly-A tail will bind. The rest of the RNAs are eluted out. The mRNA is eluted by using eluting buffer and some heat to separate the mRNA strands from oligo-dT.

 

cDNA construction

Once mRNA is purified, oligo-dT (a short sequence of deoxy-thymidine nucleotides) is tagged as a complementary primer which binds to the poly-A tail providing a free 3'-OH end that can be extended by reverse transcriptase to create the complementary DNA strand. The mRNA is removed by using an RNAse enzyme, leaving single-stranded cDNA (sscDNA). The sscDNA is converted into double-stranded DNA with the help of DNA polymerase. However, for DNA polymerase to synthesize a complementary strand, a free 3'-OH end is needed. This is provided by the sscDNA itself by coiling on itself at the 3' end, generating a hairpin loop. The polymerase extends the 3'-OH end, and later the loop at 3' end is opened by the scissoring action of S1 nuclease. Restriction endonucleases and DNA ligase are then used to clone the sequences into bacterial plasmids.

 

The cloned bacteria are then selected, commonly through the use of antibiotic selection. Once selected, stocks of the bacteria are created which can later be grown and sequenced to compile the cDNA library.

 

cDNA Library uses

cDNA libraries are commonly used when reproducing eukaryotic genomes, as the amount of information is reduced to remove the large numbers of non-coding regions from the library. cDNA libraries are used to express eukaryotic genes in prokaryotes. Prokaryotes do not have introns in their DNA and therefore do not possess any enzymes that can cut it out during transcription process. cDNA does not have introns and therefore can be expressed in prokaryotic cells. cDNA libraries are most useful in reverse genetics where the additional genomic information is of less use. Additionally, cDNA libraries are frequently used in functional cloning to identify genes based on the encoded protein's function. When studying eukaryotic DNA, expression libraries are constructed using complementary DNA (cDNA) to help ensure the insert is truly a gene.[1]

 

cDNA Library vs. Genomic DNA Library

cDNA library lacks the non-coding and regulatory elements found in genomic DNA. Genomic DNA libraries provide more detailed information about the organism, but are more resource-intensive to generate and keep.

cDNA molecules can be cloned by using restriction site linkers. Linkers are short, double stranded pieces of DNA (oligodeoxyribonucleotide) about 8 to 12 nucleotide pairs long that include a restriction endonuclease cleavage site e.g. BamHI. Both the cDNA and the linker have blunt ends which can be ligated together using a high concentration of T4 DNA ligase. Then sticky ends are produced in the cDNA molecule by cleaving the cDNA ends (which now have linkers with an incorporated site) with the appropriate endonuclease. A cloning vector (plasmid) is then also cleaved with the appropriate endonuclease. Following "sticky end" ligation of the insert into the vector the resulting recombinant DNA molecule is transferred into E. coli host cell for cloning.

WELLINGTON – Police on Thursday began arresting dozens of protesters who were camped out on the grounds of New Zealand's Parliament on the third day of a convoy protest against coronavirus mandates.

The arrests came after Parliament Speaker Trevor Mallard took the rare step of closing the grounds.

Police called in more than 100 extra officers from other parts of the country. Still, police seemed prepared to wait it out as officers formed a line and ordered people to leave but only very slowly advanced on them.

By noon, police had arrested more than 50 people and had charged many of them with trespassing or obstruction. Police wore protective vests but didn't don riot gear or carry guns.

Police said they had told everybody on the grounds they were trespassing.

“Police have appealed repeatedly to protestors to leave the grounds and have begun evicting people from the precinct,” said Superintendent Corrie Parnell, the Wellington district commander. “While police acknowledge people’s right to protest, this needs to be conducted in a way that does not unfairly impact on the wider public.”

Dave Hayes, who's become a prominent figure in the QAnon movement, recently dismissed skepticism about unfulfilled promises from the movement's leader, known only as "Q," because he believes part of the strategy of the movement is to put out disinformation.

 

Hayes is an influential interpreter of the writings of Q, who inspired the QAnon conspiracy theory that believes prominent people, including former Secretary of State Hillary Clinton, will be arrested for various crimes. While he acknowledged that many have spent the last three years waiting for the arrests, which never came, he argued the disappointment was part of the plan all along.

 

Speaking with Patrick Gunnels on the Reading Epic Threads webcast on Thursday, Hayes said Q warned people he would put out a lot of "disinformation." It was designed to "make the bad guys make wrong moves," according to Hayes.

 

"If you're going to buy on to the Q thing, you have to know upfront that half of what Q is going to tell you is not going to be true," Hayes said. "It's for the purpose of psychological operations and that's just what it is."

 

Hayes, also known as the Praying Medic, is among those who believe former President Donald Trump will return to office, a belief many QAnon supporters also hold. He told Gunnels that no one is "more pissed off at Q" than he is and that he's also frustrated with the lack of arrests. However, he denied the movement was unsuccessful.

He told Gunnels that he believes there's more disinformation in Q's posts than people want to accept, but that it was all "strategic" and "necessary." He added he believed that the "deep state" reacted to the posts exactly how Q intended them to.

 

QAnon is based in the belief that prominent Democrats, including the Clintons, former President Barack Obama and Democratic donor George Soros are part of a pedophilia ring and they sought to destroy Trump's presidency. Q predicted that a Trump-led coup would result in 25,000 indictments, causing civil disorder.

Years later, people believed there would be arrests ahead of President Joe Biden's inauguration and that Trump would return to office in 2021. The dates of those predictions came and went without any changes, but it did little to dissuade QAnon supporters.

 

Hayes established himself as a "decoder" of Q's messages and uses social media to offer explanations for the cryptic posts. So far, QAnon has failed to make accurate predictions with regard to Trump or high-profile Democrats being arrested. However, Hayes believes "things" will still happen, although he wouldn't commit to a date.

 

Hayes is hoping that Trump will return to office in January 2023 so that he can serve 10 years in office. If a president takes over the office and serves less than two years, they're eligible to serve an additional two full four-year terms under the 22nd Amendment.

 

While many, including Trump's former attorney Jenna Ellis, have given up the belief that there's a constitutional avenue for Trump to return to office, Hayes said he still believes it's possible.
