Billionaire Peter Thiel to Step Down from Facebook Board to Support President Trump-Aligned Candidates in 2022

Trump supporter Peter Thiel announced he is leaving Facebook (Meta) board after nearly two decades. Thiel will focus on supporting Trump-aligned candidates in the upcoming 2022 election.

Thiel has already announced support for Blake Masters who is running for the US Senate in Arizona. Blake Masters was a venture capitalist at Thiel Capital before announcing his run for senate.

FOX Business Network reported:

Billionaire investor Peter Thiel is leaving the board of Meta, formerly Facebook, after nearly two decades.

It is unclear where Thiel will devote his time and resources, although Bloomberg reports he plans to back Trump’s 2022 agenda.

“It has been a privilege to work with one of the great entrepreneurs of our time. Mark Zuckerberg’s intelligence, energy, and conscientiousness are tremendous. His talents will serve Meta well as he leads the company into a new era” Thiel said.

San Francisco Promotes Illegal Drug Use, Overdose Deaths 'Skyrocket'

San Francisco launched a “bizarre medical experiment” in which the city helps the homeless use illegal drugs. Environmental and urbanization writer Michael Shellenberger notes that since the pandemic began, the city has lost twice as many residents to drug overdoses than to COVID.

“The city is carrying out a bizarre medical experiment whereby addicts are given everything they need to maintain their addiction — cash, hot meals, shelter — in exchange for . . . almost nothing,” Shellenberger reports in a Substack column.

You can go and witness all of this if you simply walk down Market Street and peek your head over a newly erected fence in the southwest corner of United Nations Plaza. You will see that the city is permitting people to openly use and even deal drugs in a cordoned-off area of the public square.

The local mother of a 24-year-old homeless woman compares the city’s essentially pro-drug policy to “handing a loaded gun to a suicidal person.”

Despite promises in January from “progressive” Mayor London Breed to “put an end to all the bullshit destroying our city,” her own government is running “a supervised drug consumption site in United Nations Plaza.”

That’s a nice part of town, too. Or was.

The drug sale-and-use site is touted by local officials as a “Linkage Center” where homeless addicts can find treatment and housing.

The Linkage Center has been open for nearly two weeks, “treating” over 200 people each day. Shellenberger was told that out of the many addicts who have gone through the site, a total of two have gone through detox.

The rest, apparently, are opening, using, or even selling drugs like meth, heroin, and fentanyl.

Someone with “firsthand knowledge” of what’s going on at Linkage texted Shellenberger to describe the scene: “What’s happening is that everyone that comes in gets a meal, can use the bathroom, gets drug supplies (needles, foil, pipes), and signs up for a ‘housing assessment.’ But there’s no housing. So nothing happens. They just get added to a list.”

The city is handing out everything but the drugs themselves.

A huge monetary reward is on offer for anyone who can provide information leading to the arrest of the Islamic State leader and those responsible for a terrorist attack that killed 13 US troops and 170 Afghans last year.

A massive reward is on offer for someone who can provide information leading to the arrest of an ISIS-K leader as well as the apprehension of those responsible for a deadly suicide attack at an Afghanistan airport.

The United States said it will offer $10 million each for the successful capture of Sanaullah Ghafari and the people behind the Kabul Airport terror blast which killed 13 US troops and around 170 Afghans in August.

I have gifts of discernment, and I was pinged that Q will reappear soon.

Although this type of sudden discernment happens often with me on any number of issues, this one surprised me.

FYI - When I get discernment info as powerful as this, it's usually a signal for me to keep my head on a swivel, watch, wait, and keep alert, and this time, share it because usually, I'm low key and dead silent.

To be honest, I'm not sure if Q will reappear directly as before, or something else, which at the moment, I don't know what that "something else" might be.

The artist behind a series of guerilla artworks in downtown Dallas struck again, but the latest work has now been taken down.

The spot where the city of Dallas removed the Confederate memorial in Pioneer Park played host briefly to a new statue this week before it too was taken down.

On Monday, a passerby spotted a human-like figure standing right where the memorial vanished last year. Closer inspection revealed the new artwork to be a strange one. It had the body of a human and the face of a creature out of a Lovecraft novel. It wore a dress, and through a tear in the sleeve you could see suction cups on its body.

In its hand was a dollar coin. Around its head, a halo. And then there was the platform below its feet, a pedestal made of what looked like animal skulls and bones.

How the statue got there is a mystery. Jennifer Scripps, who heads the city’s Office of Arts and Culture, said it’s not a public artwork and “does not belong in the public space.”

The statue looked a whole lot like another unauthorized piece of art that showed up nearby two years ago. In 2019, a sculpture of another Cthulhu-like figure appeared near the Convention Center DART station. The anonymous artist called it a cephalopod, making creatures like squid and octopi its in-laws. The city removed it, saying it was a safety hazard.

A plaque next to the previous statue waxed philosophical about John Neely Bryan and the founding of the city — and called it a “Gift to the City of Dallas from Margaret McDermott.” McDermott’s daughter Mary McDermott Cook told The News she knew nothing about it.

The new sculpture at Pioneer Park had a similar inscription. A plaque called it a portrait of Sarah Horton Cockrell, a 19th-century Dallas businesswoman. It got metaphysical about the birth of the city. And it said the statue is a gift from another prominent, late Dallasite, T. Boone Pickens. Pickens’ estate — surprise! — had never heard of the work.

To put it lightly, “It’s far outside the type of art that Boone would embrace,” said Jay Rosser, Pickens’ longtime chief of staff.

Scripps declined to answer questions Thursday about the removal of the statue and what the city planned to do with it. The earlier statue was taken to a city storage facility after workers spent hours dislodging it from the pavement.

At the top of the plaque for the new statue was the same name the artist used to sign the last work: Solomon.

And yet, no one is doing anything effective about the determined demonstrators who have set up a semi-permanent camp in the capital and have no intention of leaving.

Ten days into the truckers’ Freedom Convoy occupation of Ottawa’s downtown, the questions of who should act and what they should do remains unresolved. The number of protesters swelled to as much as 5,000 over the weekend before dropping back down to a committed core of a few hundred on Monday. Ottawa Police Chief Peter Sloly says the police are doing their best but are overwhelmed. Ottawa Mayor Jim Watson has punctuated his fussing about the demonstrators’ “bouncy castles, hot tubs and saunas,” with a declaration of emergency that the city’s lawyer admits will do nothing useful. Prime Minister Justin Trudeau, the guy the demonstrators came to see, has refused to talk to them and spent Monday in “private meetings.” Trudeau did test positive for COVID, but that was a week ago.
