Exactly.

Were Jesus to not have been of the loins of Israel,

of the tribe of Judah,

all of us would still be in our sins.

BTW,

on another subject regarding "Israel being last"โ€ฆ.

Israel's original name was Jacobโ€ฆ.

Not what I said.

Jesus Christ had to be a son of David to inherit the throne.

He was,

but not blood related to Solomon.

Instead,

he was related to Solomon's brother,

Nathan.

Jesus inherited the throne because of an adoption of one of his ancestors upon the return of the Jews from Babylon,

the grandson of whom was the first governor,

Zerubbabel.

>They try to uphold the veil.

Exactly, Anon.

How they have done that is by making a "perpetual-victim" "christ",

which they re-present (in the style of the false doctrine of reincarnation),

making "Calvary present".

What was Jesus on Calvary?

He was the sacrifice for sin.

What did Jesus say about that sacrifice?

He said,

It is finished.

Why was it finished?

It was finished because the wage of the sins of His people was death.

He died,

wage paid.

Thus,

having died on their behalf,

He justified them.

To prove their justification,

He resurrected from the dead.

To re-present the sacrifice for sin,

effectively denies the resurrection,

as well as the doctrine of justification,

and thus,

the Gospel itself since that doctrine is the core of the Gospel.

Without it,

it is empty religion.
