Those are actually pretty high quality references and cover a lot of what shills will do.

From a legal standpoint, the shills are liable according to the following laws:

1) Libel, slander, defamation (they often hurl abuse at targets that are untrue)

2) Harassment, stalking (they often follow their targets for days on end, or try to harass them off a service or area)

3) If law enforcement shill, their activities can overlap with frame-up, entrapment or setups (all illegal)

4) If the shills are foreign agents and they are gathering data on citizens, this counts as espionage (especially if the data they 'accidentally' acquire or read happens to be classified materials - guaranteed if they've tried to attack WikiLeaks etc)

5) Fraud, deception - they often misrepresent a phone number, service or situation as being one thing, when it's actually another

6) Incitement to violence (more a UK thing but you get the idea) - shills often try to provoke or encourage people to conduct violent acts or entice people to act violently

7) Pornography laws (depending on state)

8) Child pornography laws (given the posting of child post is often used by shills to take down facebook pages, threads, comments etc)

9) Wasting police time (especially if they try to get people to call the FBI, police, etc with their phone fraud scams), which leads on to…

10) Perverting the course of justice, obstruction of justice and perjury, depending on circumstance, and…

11) Any of the endless left-leaning laws that allow people to be jailed, sued, fined etc for 'discrimination' (isn't it wonderful how hate speech censorship laws can backfire so horribly?)

12) Any legal reprisals for any foreign agent trying to operate in a given country (I do believe spies are exempt from the geneva conventions, especially if they pose as a civilian - which means the shills, if foreign agents, can just 'magically disappear')

13) Impersonation, identity theft or any of the like (especially when they try to impersonate a poster and falsely represent themselves as such)

14) Whichever country's laws they broke whilst residing in that country

15) If the shills work within the US, then it is treason. If they're employed outside of the US by people within the US, then the people within the US can be charged with treason, the ones outside count as foreign agents, so the other elements apply

16) Assuming they're trying to flood a forum with posts or threads without permission, you could stretch in some computer abuse laws (an attempt at denial of service)

17) If they are claiming something politically, and they're a political entity, under FEC laws they must disclose their political affiliation (attention Media Matters shills: you are breaking this law right now. Likewise, AIPAC)

18) If they are advertising a service falsely or fraudulent, then they must under FCC rules disclose it as an advert, and of course, it cannot be false or fraudulent

19) I believe, depending on state, there are laws against spam - given shills flood forums with garbage, this would constitute as breaking spam rules

20) Attempting to circumvent anti-bot checks with a bot without permission would constitute also computer abuse, as it violates the access permissions of the owner

21) Depending on state law, failing to disclose who your organisation is (even if not politically affiliated) or what your financial interests are, could violate a number of transparency laws

22) The shills failing to delete any data held on you would violate GDPR (yes, an EU law, but that's for the EU shills to get clobbered with - people outside the EU can apply for injunctions against EU based companies)

23) The shills failing to ask you explicit permission to datamine you prior to them doing so would violate GDPR

24) There's an infinite number of technicalities. I think the FBI classically abuse 'wire fraud', because the internet is over a wire, and the statements are fraudulent.

Good Shill Hunting!

Having studied the shills talking points on here, those shill arguments in full:

1) Q is a LARP (appeal to authority fallacy)

2) This board is Comp'd (appeal to fear)

3) Baby Boomers (division)

4) Random inserts of women when making a bad argument (distraction)

5) The Bible is wrong and here's why (irrelevancy fallacy)

6) Q is a new age starcode hologram quantum supercomputer matrix diode geometric shape composed of the … <insert more strung together crap likely written by a bot using new age garbage here(guilt by association/discredit by association)

7) [Duplicate threads] (appeal to repetition)

8) Why isn't Q talking about…? (appeal to silence, appeal to doubt)

9) Trump supporters are <racist/homophobic/white/men/stupid(appeal to ridicule)

10) HERE'S MY LATEST CLEARLY GARBAGE THEORY, PLS DISCUSS (distraction/time wasting)

11) <some discussion on some twatter poster wondering if it's Q or LARP(distraction - Q explicitly stated no outside communicates)

12) MUH <genitalia(likely a troll, but easily a shill tactic)

13) Leave the board, it's under attack/vulnerable/other InfoSec scaremongering (appeal to fear, appeal to panic, non-attributed source)

14) [Someone pretending to be Q]

15) [Someone claiming to know Q personally]

16) I'VE DISCOVERED SOME EVIDENCE THAT ULTIMATE PROVES Q IS A FRAUD (Doctors hate this one piece of evidence etc etc)

Talking points that seem legitimate:

1) Q supports overthrowing Iran, is he JIDF?

2) Q supports attacking Syria, is he deepstate?

3) Is Q a psyop using intel resources to distract/delay/stop the chans discovering the truth of the deepstate?

4) Q has a bad choice of password (the 'Matlock' incident), is he as security savvy as he claims?

There's very few legitimate contrary talking points about Q. I've read slightly more reasonable ones off-site, but the majority are poorly thought out criticisms that don't reflect any prior research which are classic signs of a shill. The 'Q is a LARP' ones classically have no research, but the 'Q is a psyop' usually posits some level of backing (and this is a theory I've publicly presented myself, although there's nothing sufficient to make a clear claim either way).

LARPs never last years, and any reasonable person would have discounting LARP or trolling. Even if somehow it was, most of Q's elements are positive - encouraging political activism, and contrary to the moronic talking points of the media, this is a positive thing.

That said, there is clearly shilling and garbage posting going on. Most of the shills appear to be concentrated on the breads, with only a few keeping eye on tactical threads (like this one) or producing threads to clog up the catalogue.

You can disregard my observations if you want, this is more of a public 'note to self', just thought it'd be interesting to see if anyone had anything to add to this.

A good way to compare shill activity versus other threads is to use TTDDTOT (both part 1 and part 2). Because TTDDTOT is strategically unimportant (it won't be after I post this, so anything from this point forward can be disregarded), the shills don't bother particularly trying to trash the thread.

Compare TTDDTOT to a bread. A bread will have tons of garbage posts. Why does TTDDTOT - a place for 'irrelevant posts', so to speak - have fewer garbage posts than a bread where high quality research should be?: because shills are actively trashing the breads.
