I could be wrong but it is my understanding that all blood is supposed to flow to the baby before the cord is cut, thus giving it all possible antibodies from the mother. It is only supposed to be cut once it turns white. If they are depriving the babies of this vital immunity, are they setting up the baby for future health issues? Anyone?
