When you do something. Like swerving to avoid hitting a squirrel for example.
Did you do so because you made a conscious decision or did you act on reflexes?
If doing complex tasks, like swerving a car, is possible entirely on reflexes that begs the question; What else can you do on reflexes?
Question then becomes, how many of your actions are really conscious actions?
In an extreme case you could argue that all of your actions are reflexes and your mind is simply justifying the action retro-actively to create cohesion.
