Not at all into into micromanagement, but this banner is not cool. Creative and clever, sure, nice looking, yeah, but not OK. After all the conversation that went around about banners lately, you'd think you would have known that.
I usually try to uplift and support…and make crappy memes. But this is my opinion. I don't think it's an appropriate use of the Iwo Jima image. If there's no sharing of opinions here or in society and no push back when we think something isn't right, then people do just whatever they want. Most of the times, that's probably OK, but sometimes it's not and a little nudge from a friend can make them reconsider their choices. I accept that my opinion might not be absolutely correct, but it feels true to me. If there wasn't so much other crap that we should focus on right now, I'd say let's talk it through and compare opinions and reasons, etc but right now I don't have the energy for that. I just want to find some piece of good news and hope before I crash. I probably posted in the tone I did due to discouragement and anger from today's events.
