French First Lady Brigitte Macron has filed a lawsuit against the instigators of a rumor she is transgender woman born a man, with the first hearing set for June 15. (AFP)
Last month she had accused those spreading the rumor of altering her family tree on genealogy websites as fake proof she is in fact her brother.
The initial story gained traction in October last year when a magazine founded by right-wing Emmanuel Ratier published an article propagating the ruse that The French president’s wife was born Jean-Michel Trogneaux.
