Ukraine Representative addressing UN: If Ukraine does not survive, international peace will not survive. If Ukraine does not survive, the United Nations will not survive, have no illusions. If Ukraine does not survive, we can not be surprised if democracy fails next. Now we can save Ukraine, save the United Nations, save democracy, and defend the values we believe in, and that Ukrainians are fighting for, and paying with their lives.

Russian Federation Representative addressing UN: In 2014, there was a brutal, anti-constitutional coup which took place in Kiev, as a result of which, nationalists and radicals seized power. Their policy was to create an anti-Russia in Ukraine, and ensure that it join NATO. For us, Ukraine joining NATO is a red line…the deployment of NATO infrastructure in that country would compel us to develop measures in response.

CHARLOTTESVILLE, VA: "Virginia ABC is responding to Governor Glenn Youngkin’s call for support of Ukraine. On Sunday, Virginia ABC announced on Twitter it’s removing seven Russian-sourced vodka brands from store shelves. According to the announcement, Russian-themed brands not produced in Russia including Stolichnaya and Smirnoff will not be removed. ABC’s CEO Travis Hill says some of those brands were already in their distribution center, but they will not put them on the shelves. Hill says they are set on this decision and do not have plans to sell these products again, until it makes sense to do so."
