Radical Obama Judge Ketanji Brown Jackson’s Supreme Court Senate confirmation hearings will begin March 21.

Senate Judiciary Chairman Dick Durbin said he looks forward to Jackson’s appearance before the committee and to “respectful and dignified hearings.”

The Democrats want a “respectful and dignified hearing” after destroying Trump’s SCOTUS nominee Brett Kavanaugh with lies.

“As I have said from the time that Justice Breyer announced his retirement, the Committee will undertake a fair and timely process to consider Judge Jackson’s nomination,” Durbin wrote in the letter. “I look forward to Judge Jackson’s appearance before the Committee and to respectful and dignified hearings.”

Durbin said he hopes to have Jackson confirmed to the Supreme Court by April 9.

Judge Ketanji Brown Jackson’s Supreme Court confirmation hearings will begin on Monday, March 21 and will last four days, the Senate Judiciary Committee announced Wednesday.

Sen. Dick Durbin (D-Ill.), the committee’s chairman, released a letter notifying his colleagues on the panel of the schedule that week and promised a thorough review of the D.C. Circuit Court of Appeals judge who President Biden has tapped to fill Justice Stephen Breyer’s seat.

The four days of hearings will begin on March 21 with opening statements from committee members, people tasked with introducing Jackson and the judge herself. Committee members will be able to question Jackson the following Tuesday and Wednesday, and the panel will also hold a closed-door meeting that Wednesday to discuss her FBI background investigation, which is routine for all Supreme Court nominees.

Ketanji Brown has an awful record. Several of her major decisions were overturned.

Lindsey Graham, Susan Collins and Lisa Murkowski voted to confirm her as District Judge and they will support her again.

Israel gets involved in diplomatic solution to Russia-Ukraine, vows 'unprecedented' aid

Israeli Prime Minister Naftali Bennett, over the weekend, reportedly offered Vladimir Putin the option of negotiating through Israel.

The president of Israel says his country is attempting to help push for a diplomatic end to the war in Ukraine and is offering up assistance to achieve that goal.

Following talks earlier this week between President Isaac Herzog and his counterpart in Cypress, Israel has announced it will send an "unprecedented amount" of humanitarian aid to Ukraine.

Three flights left Israel on Monday and Tuesday carrying medical supplies, systems that can provide safe water, and winter gear. In total, Israel has sent 100 tons in aid.

President Herzog called the decision a "moral obligation" that arrives following a missile attack on the Babi Yar Holocaust memorial in Kyiv that he said "epitomizes the huge pain and suffering of people there" and the "terrible tragedy that we’re seeing unfolding in front of our eyes."

Israel, according to its president, is contemplating more ways to offer support to the Ukrainian people as the continue to endure Putin's invasion.

Israel, at the moment, is in the relatively rare spot of having a good working relationship with both Kyiv and Moscow. Its response to the conflict has, therefore, been measured, and on Friday, Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky asked Israeli Prime Minister Naftali Bennett to intercede with Russia on Ukraine's behalf.

Bennett, over the weekend, called Putin to offer up Israel as a negotiator between the two countries – an offer with which Putin was reportedly not pleased.

France detains Foreign Legionnaires on Ukraine-bound bus – media

Paris police have reportedly arrested soldiers who were suspected of trying to join Kiev’s fight against Russia

Fourteen French Foreign Legionnaires of Ukrainian origin have reportedly been arrested in Paris on suspicion that they were traveling to fight for their native country against Russia.

Police stopped a Ukraine-bound bus on Tuesday evening and found that 14 of the 30 passengers were Foreign Legion soldiers, France’s TF1 media outlet reported. The 16 civilians were released and investigators found that five of the Ukrainian-born legionnaires had been absent from their units without permission. The other nine soldiers had been given leave for 15 days to go to Poland and find family members who have fled Ukraine.

Neither the deserters nor the military personnel on leave were allowed to go to Ukraine. Those who were granted time off to travel to Eastern Europe were prohibited from entering Ukraine under a protocol that the Legion has had in place since Russia’s war with Kiev began.

The bus was allowed to resume its journey after passenger identities were checked. Police did a thorough search of the vehicle for weapons and found only blankets and “basic equipment,” according to the media report.

NATO member nations have allowed civilians to fight for Ukraine as volunteers. In fact, UK Foreign Secretary Liz Truss has encouraged Britons to join the fight. Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky signed a decree on Saturday forming an international legion to fight alongside government forces.

However, the US and other NATO members have pledged not to send their own troops to fight in Ukraine, apparently seeking to avoid an escalation into a wider war with Russia. Moscow launched its invasion last week, pledging to “demilitarize and denazify” Ukraine.

About 700 of France’s Foreign Legion members are originally from Ukraine. The force is a branch of the French Army and has about 8,000 men.

Netflix Joins List of Tech Giants Blocking Content Linked to Russia

U.S. streaming giant Netflix Inc. confirmed it will not add 20 free-to-air Russian TV channels to its platform, which the streaming service could be obligated to carry out under Russian law.

“Given the current situation, we have no plans to add these channels to our service,” a Netflix spokesman said in a statement on Monday, referring to Russia’s attack on Ukraine.

Politico first reported that Netflix, which launched its service in Russia in October 2020, would fall under the new Russian regulations requiring compliance from March.

The regulations, overseen by Russia’s communications regulator, Roskomnadzor, require audiovisual services with more than 100,000 subscribers in that country to distribute 20 free-to-air news, sports, and entertainment channels.

The spokesman did not disclose how it would avoid the regulation and said it is monitoring the situation closely. Netflix’s service will continue to be available to people in Russia.

The streaming giant joined a string of major tech companies that have recently blocked content from Russia, including Facebook, Google, Twitter, and Microsoft.

Google barred the likes of RT and Sputnik and several other Russian channels from earning money for ads on their websites, apps, and YouTube videos, in line with recent EU sanctions.

Facebook parent company Meta Platforms on Monday said it will restrict access to Kremlin-backed news outlets RT, formerly known as Russia Today, and Sputnik on its platforms across the European Union.

Elsewhere, Twitter said it is adding labels and reducing the visibility for tweets containing content from websites like RT and Sputnik, while Microsoft said it would remove RT apps from its app store, no longer display any state-sponsored RT and Sputnik content, and de-rank search results from Bing in an effort to “exposure of Russian state propaganda, as well to ensure our own platforms do not inadvertently fund these operations.”

The move by the companies come after European Commission President Ursula von der Leyen on Feb. 27 said the EU would ban RT and Sputnik, which she referred to as the “Kremlin’s media machine.”

“The state-owned Russia Today and Sputnik, and their subsidiaries, will no longer be able to spread their lies to justify Putin’s war,” von der Leyen said. “We are developing tools to ban their toxic and harmful disinformation in Europe.”

During his presentation, Justice Gableman played video of several victims of elderly abuse and voter theft. Several brave Wisconsin families reached out to Gableman and his committee after they discovered someone had voted for their loved one who resides in a nursing home. This happened all over Wisconsin.

Justice Gableman disclosed during the hearing that the nursing homes in the Zuckerberg-funded cities had a 95% to 100% turnout. This is clear voter fraud they discovered.

The video that played during the hearing today was heartbreaking.

It takes a special kind of evil to abuse disabled seniors.

The special counsel investigating suspected irregularities in Wisconsin’s 2020 election has found that 91 nursing homes in the counties of Milwaukee, Racine, Dane, Kenosha, and Brown had voter turnout rates ranging from 95% to a 100% in 2020 — as compared to overall nationwide participation rates of 67% in 2020 and 60% in 2016.

The nursing home data only reflects voting at the facilities that the special counsel “has been able to vet to this juncture,” according to the report compiled by retired state Supreme Court Justice Michael Gableman for the state Assembly. “There are more facilities in these counties, and after auditing the votes from other facilities, the above percentages may change.”

The Mark Zuckerberg-funded Center for Tech and Civic Life gave $8.8 million towards the administration of the 2020 election in Wisconsin.

One of Sinkula’s colleagues knew ahead of time “how the outcome was going to come in November,” Sinkula claimed, because the colleague knew people who had registered nursing home residents who didn’t normally vote and apparently voted for them.”

Jerome Powell is planning on raising interest rates this month from the zero percent that Democrats have benefitted from in the White House this century. Rates have been kept at zero percent for almost all the time that Democrats are in the White House since 2000.

Federal Reserve Chair Jerome Powell made clear Wednesday that the Fed will begin raising interest rates this month in a high-stakes effort to restrain surging inflation.

Fed Chief Jerome Powell also shared the potential to have more than one reserve currency in the world. This is a shocking statement coming from the head of the Fed.

The US has benefitted from having the reserve currency of the world. We’ve reported on this for months and how under Biden the US has reached the lowest point in decades.

As the Biden gang continues to spend the dollar continues to get weaker. Now the US is pushing Russia away from using the US dollar as its reserve currency and this may not be so smart.

In addition, the US has benefitted from having the USD the currency used for oil transactions worldwide. This ‘petrol dollar’ arrangement may go by the wayside as some fear Russia and the Saudis have already made an arrangement to trade oil outside of the dollar.

Back in 2014 under Obama/Biden people were worried about the petrodollar as well. Maybe this was reasonable as Biden/Obama helps Iran gain a nuclear weapon. Iran and Iraq are enemies. When Obama and Biden help Iran, they push the Saudis away. No wonder the Saudis aligned with Russia after Biden stole the election. Powell may be saying that it’s alright to have more than one world reserve currency because there is little he and the Biden Administration can do to stop it. This could have long-lasting negative impacts on the US and make the US weaker than Biden has already has made the country.

White House Degrades Russia's Energy Primacy With Oil Tech Export Controls; Also Sanctions 22 Defense Entities

Update(1538ET): Estimates in media reports based on Pentagon sources now after a week of the offensive on Ukraine indicate Russia has fired about 450 missiles of various types.

The widely reported "40-mile column" of infantry, tank and artillery forces expected to mount a major assault on Kiev is still stalled according to the Pentagon, likely due to significant logistical hurdles including lack of adequate food and fuel slowing the pace of advance.

And in a significant afternoon development, the White House is mulling taking action against Russian oil and gas, while trying to mitigate the blowback to Americans and the global economy. A fresh statement said the US and its allies "share a strong interest in degrading Russia’s status as a leading energy supplier." This is expected to include export controls on sales of oil technology to Russia or Russia-linked entities. Bloomberg details…

It was not immediately clear what oil technology would be hit by the latest wave of export controls – including equipment to coax oil and gas out of wells or refine it into diesel and gasoline. The White House said the controls would target “oil refining, a key revenue source” that supports the Russian military, but also described “export controls on oil and gas extraction equipment.”

China Won't Join Russia Sanctions, Banking Regulator Warns

After urging ceasefire talks between Ukraine and Russia, China on Wednesday announced that it would not join the West in imposing sanctions on Russia.

The announcement was made by China’s banking and insurance regulator Guo Shuqing during a press briefing on Wednesday.

"Everyone is watching recent military conflict, or war, between Russia and Ukraine," Guo Shuqing, chairman of the China Banking and Insurance Regulatory Commission, said during a press conference in Mandarin.

"China’s position has been stated clearly by the Ministry of Foreign Affairs. Our international policies are consistent.” “Regarding financial sanctions, we do not support that,” said Guo, noting particular opposition to “unilateral” sanctions, which he said don’t effectively address problems. “China won’t join such sanctions.“

Guo also happens to be the CCP's secretary of the People’s Bank of China, the PRC's central bank. He added on Wednesday that he hopes all sides will maintain 'normal economic exchanges' and insisted that the sanctions have had no apparent impact on China so far.

"As far as financial sanctions are concerned, we are not in favor of such unilaterally initiated sanctions, because they are not effective and have no legal basis," Guo Shuqing, chairman of the China Banking and Insurance Regulatory Commission, said during a press conference held at the State Council Information Office.

Guo stressed that his agency will not participate in such sanctions and will continue to maintain normal economic and trade exchanges with relevant parties.

Talking about the potential disruption that Western financial sanctions against Russia could inflict on the Chinese economy, Guo said that "it does not seem to be too obvious at the moment and needs to be further observed.

Generally speaking, it will not have much an impact, since our economy and our financial system are very stable and resilient," Guo said.

Guo isn't the only CCP official to rebuke the West over its treatment of both Russia and China during the Ukraine crisis.
