Was srtting at my local beach (east coast Aust.) a few eeeks ago around , say 3:30 pm. The sun was setting say behind me to the south-west. Moon was out over the ocean to my north-east.
Thing is, I was expecting the illuminated surface to be facing me, yet it was actually out to my left to the west. Didn't make sense - what gives?
