Here's something we didn't learn in our history classes. Russia got to outside Berlin and waited for 3 days or so until the American came in from the West. That's where the 2 armies met, at the River Elbe. Then the next day they took Berlin. Created a saying: The spirit of the Elbe. This anon has felt it.
