It is a strange thing.

Why did God even design baby boys to have a foreskin? Just to have it snipped off?

And the whole thing about God's people being circumcised was a OT thing and the NT said it was no longer necessary because of faith in Jesus being the new prerequisite to salvation.

But all of those weird OT laws were actually medically beneficial to the health of society, not detrimental. So why would God command people to do something that was detrimental to their health? If the answer is that He wouldn't, then the logical conclusion would be that circumcision is NOT detrimental to a man's health.

And it started with God's command to Abraham to set His people apart from other people. God's Chosen people were circumcised. Even the son that Abraham had with his wife's Egyptian handmaiden, Hagar, who had Ishmael.

Ironic that later on in history the Egyptians would enslave the Israelites. And during the time of Moses God would take them out of slavery to The Promised Land.

Everything has meaning.

How could Moses lead God's people out of slavery in Egypt if he didn't even have proper control over his own household?

Moses' wife, Zipporah, knew God's laws and had to step up to the plate and do the right thing.

Would a Good & Loving God command His Chosen People to do something that was detrimental to their health?

The heathens were the ones who took knives and cut themselves and let their blood flow to appease their heathen gods. And sacrificed their children to the heathen gods.

God told the Israelites not to do such things, yet he required their foreskins as a sign of their obedience to Him. In the OT anyways.

Everyone has to find their own Peace in his relationship with God.

The Socialist Public School System has 6 hours a day, 5 days a week, 180 days a year to brainwash your kids.

That's 1,080 hours a year for 12 years, maybe more if they went to preschool, or college.

Then TV etc. reinforces that brainwashing and all of that wonderful "socialization" that happens at the Public school reinforces that brainwashing. They work in tandem.

How many hours is it going to take you to "unbrainwash" your kids? Is it even possible to unbrainwash them.
