U.S. Marines on Thursday arrested Patricia L. Conrad, special assistant to NIH Director Anthony S. Fauci, at her home in Bethesda, Maryland, after obtaining a military arrest warrant signed by Deputy Judge Advocate General Christopher C. French, a JAG source told Real Raw News.

 

Conrad’s detainment came as a surprise, for her name had not been previously mentioned, nor had it appeared on any radar until Thursday. On paper, she seems like a ghost; her LinkedIn page lists no employment history prior to working at the NIH, and search engine queries returned vague results that gave no hint as to exactly what her job title entailed. But a deep dive into her background revealed she is a Doctor of Veterinary Medicine who worked at the UC Davis School of Veterinary Medicine before joining Fauci at the NIH. Nonetheless, much of her digital footprint seems to have been purged from the internet.

 

Despite her apparent clean slate, the U.S. Navy Judge Advocate General’s Corps said it had acquired indisputable evidence proving Conrad was a major player in Fauci’s Covid crimes. Although our source would not presently disclose JAG’s evidence, citing ongoing investigations, he said evidence will be made public after JAG decides whether she must face a military tribunal.

 

“If she helps us get Fauci, she may be shown leniency, but it’s too early to tell right now,” our source said.

A passenger plane crashed in South China on Monday, Chinese central TV suggested. According to preliminary reports, there were 133 people on board.

"A China Eastern Airlines Boeing 737 passenger plane carrying 133 people crashed in Teng County, Wuzhou City, Guangxi Zhuang Autonomous Region, resulting in a forest fire", a report said.

 

Preliminary data suggested it was Flight MU5735 en route from Kunming to Guangzhou.

Gigi Becali, the businessman and politician who runs the team, says that no more vaccinated players are allowed because he is tired of seeing otherwise great players turn weak or die. At best, they become shells of their former selves, and he can no longer stand it.

 

Several players on rival teams such as CFR Cluj and Rapid Bucuresti have also been struggling or have died because of getting injected, he says. One of them is 36-year-old winger Ciprian Deac.

 

“You’re going to laugh, but I might be right,” Becali said to Romanian journalist Emanuel Rosu. “Those vaccinated lose their strength. That’s something scientific.”

 

“Haven’t you seen it at CFR? With Rapid, the players seemed to be fainting. They slept on the ground. All vaccinated people lose their strength! I also see mine, the vaccinated ones. It doesn’t affect some, but it does affect those who are older. Haven’t you seen Deac? There is no more storm.”

 

Romanian government condemns Becali, says footballers do not lose strength after getting jabbed

Another player, Steaua Bucharest striker Claudiu Keseru, returned to the club back in August after six years at the Bulgarian outfit Ludogorets. Since he, too, got vaccinated, he is no longer able to play at the same high level as he did before.

 

“I gave him the money, I had a contract with him, he was a football player, I was the owner,” Becali said to Sport.ro about Keseru’s return to the team.

 

“I said, ‘You can’t go to this level anymore. You can play in Romania, but not at FCSB (Steaua Bucharest) and CFR!’ He said he would show me, but he has nothing to show me. It can’t be at this level anymore. It’s possible because of the vaccine. I say what I think. I don’t want to offend him.”

 

The Romanian government reacted to Becali’s statements with condemnation, declaring without evidence on its official Facebook page that:

 

“Vaccinated footballers do NOT lose their strength after being vaccinated against COVID-19!

 

From a medical and scientific point of view, there are no studies that would support a singularity like the one recently promoted on Facebook accounts in Romania.

 

Vaccination against COVID-19 does not affect the performance of football players. In contrast, there are enough studies showing that going through SARS CoV-2 infection leaves long-term sequelae (Long COVID), and these can influence athletes’ performance.”

 

Rosu also says that Becali has a policy on his team that only people that fake getting vaccinated are allowed to play, that way their strength is confirmed. However, according to reports, Rosu’s claim remains unconfirmed.

 

In the comment section at Newspunch, one person wrote that one of the goals of the plandemic injection scam is to “make mice of young healthy men, the type who might create revolution for a long time.”

 

This same commenter added that they have been demasculinized with all sorts of things, including mind control. The United States especially has also faced many decades of seeing men be disempowered and women empowered, and their roles reversed at every level of family and society.

A former Apple employee has been charged with defrauding the tech giant out of more than $10 million by taking kickbacks, stealing equipment and laundering money, federal prosecutors said.

Dhirendra Prasad, 52, worked for 10 years as a buyer in Apple’s Global Service Supply Chain department. A federal criminal case unsealed Friday alleges that he exploited his position to defraud the company in several schemes, including stealing parts and causing the company to pay for items and services it never received.

A court has allowed the federal government to seize five real estate properties and financial accounts worth about $5 million from Prasad, and the government is seeking to keep those assets as proceeds of crime, the U.S. Attorney’s office in San Jose said in a news release.

Prasad is scheduled to appear in court Thursday to answer to charges of engaging in a conspiracy to commit fraud, money laundering and tax evasion. It’s unclear whether he has retained a lawyer. A phone number listed for him was disconnected.

Two owners of vendor companies that did business with Apple have admitted to conspiring with Prasad to commit fraud and launder money, prosecutors said.

Just two days after a nonpartisan watchdog group filed a complaint showing congresswoman Cindy Axne failed to disclose up to $645,000 in stock trades, the Iowa Democrat used thousands of dollars in taxpayer funds to hire liberal fixer Marc Elias.

From Sept. 24 to Sept. 30, Axne paid Elias Law Group nearly $5,700 for a "non-technology service contract," House disbursement disclosures show. Axne's partnership with Elias continued into October, when she paid the longtime Democratic operative an additional $12,567. The September contract began just two days after the Campaign Legal Center filed an ethics complaint showing Axne sold "more than 40 assets with a total value ranging from approximately $43,043 to $645,000" in 2019 and 2020 "without disclosing the transactions," a violation of the STOCK Act, which requires members of Congress to report large financial transactions within 30 days.

Axne, who is facing a difficult reelection bid in a district former president Donald Trump won in both 2016 and 2020, went on to concede that she failed to report the trades, calling the oversight a "clerical issue." In order to rectify the problem, Axne said she brought in an "outside counsel to audit her reports." But Axne did not reveal whom she hired and the subsequent cost to the taxpayer. Now, Axne's financial filings suggest the Democrat used at least $18,229 in taxpayer funds to enlist Elias.

Axne is far from the only Iowa Democrat to turn to Elias when facing a controversial issue. After failed congressional candidate Rita Hart lost by six votes to Republican congresswoman Mariannette Miller-Meeks in 2020, the Democrat hired Elias to attempt to overturn the election. Instead of taking the issue to the Iowa court system, Elias attempted to bring the decision to a vote in the House, where Democrats hold a majority. The strategy eventually failed—but only after House Democrats billed taxpayers more than $800,000 in legal fees.

Abstract

Red Queen dynamics, involving coevolutionary interactions between species, are ubiquitous, shaping the evolution of diverse biological systems. To date, information on the underlying selection dynamics and the involved genome regions is mainly available for bacteria–phage systems or only one of the antagonists of a eukaryotic host–pathogen interaction. We add to our understanding of these important coevolutionary interactions using an experimental host–pathogen model, which includes the nematode Caenorhabditis elegans and its pathogen Bacillus thuringiensis. We combined experimental evolution with time-shift experiments, in which a focal host or pathogen is tested against a coevolved antagonist from the past, present, or future, followed by genomic analysis. We show that (i) coevolution occurs rapidly within few generations, (ii) temporal coadaptation at the phenotypic level is found in parallel across replicate populations, consistent with antagonistic frequency-dependent selection, (iii) genomic changes in the pathogen match the phenotypic pattern and include copy number variations of a toxin-encoding plasmid, and (iv) host genomic changes do not match the phenotypic pattern and likely involve selective responses at more than one locus. By exploring the dynamics of coevolution at the phenotypic and genomic level for both host and pathogen simultaneously, our findings demonstrate a more complex model of the Red Queen, consisting of distinct selective processes acting on the two antagonists during rapid and reciprocal coadaptation.

The operation was designed by the Poles to promote their role in support of the Ukraine, the Ukrainian refugees, and in defence of Europe against Russia, and seek new European, American, and NATO alliance funds and military equipment.

 

According to the Ukrainian publicity, the operation was designed to promote the appearance that Zelensky’s regime is in control of Kiev, and to accelerate their application for admission to the European Union (EU).

 

The Anglo-American media have reported the meeting, as announced by Petr Fiala, the Czech prime minister, with “the aim…to express the European Union’s unequivocal support for Ukraine and its freedom and independence,”

 

The result of the summit meeting, according to the Financial Times in London, was “a show of European solidarity even as Russian shelling continued on residential neighbourhoods in the Ukrainian capital. The trip by the prime ministers of Poland, the Czech Republic and Slovenia is the most high-profile visit to Kyiv since Russia invaded the country on February 24.”

Earlier this month, Biden signed a sweeping executive order (EO) directing government agencies to develop plans to regulate cryptocurrencies like Bitcoin, and to study the creation of a central bank digital currency (CBDC) for the United States. Biden’s EO directs the attorney general, secretary of the Treasury, and chairman of the Federal Reserve to provide the White House with a legislative proposal for its own CBDC within 210 days of the order, about seven months. A US CBDC would likely be designed in a way that would give government and/or the Federal Reserve substantial control over its use and supply.The digital dollars could easily be tracked by banks, federal agencies and the Federal Reserve. They could also be programmed to control what people buy. Climate change and equity are key considerations in Biden’s proposed CBDC. Once a digital currency is in place, government and/or Federal Reserve officials would have more power than ever to control, track and coerce individuals and US businesses—likely without needing new laws approved by Congress.

1913: When Hitler, Trotsky, Tito, Freud and Stalin all lived in the same place

A century ago, one section of Vienna played host to Adolf Hitler, Leon Trotsky, Joseph Tito, Sigmund Freud and Joseph Stalin.

In January 1913, a man whose passport bore the name Stavros Papadopoulos disembarked from the Krakow train at Vienna's North Terminal station.

Of dark complexion, he sported a large peasant's moustache and carried a very basic wooden suitcase.

"I was sitting at the table," wrote the man he had come to meet, years later, "when the door opened with a knock and an unknown man entered.

"He was short… thin… his greyish-brown skin covered in pockmarks… I saw nothing in his eyes that resembled friendliness."

The writer of these lines was a dissident Russian intellectual, the editor of a radical newspaper called Pravda (Truth). His name was Leon Trotsky.

The man he described was not, in fact, Papadopoulos.

He had been born Iosif Vissarionovich Dzhugashvili, was known to his friends as Koba and is now remembered as Joseph Stalin.

Trotsky and Stalin were just two of a number of men who lived in central Vienna in 1913 and whose lives were destined to mould, indeed to shatter, much of the 20th century.

It was a disparate group. The two revolutionaries, Stalin and Trotsky, were on the run. Sigmund Freud was already well established.

The psychoanalyst, exalted by followers as the man who opened up the secrets of the mind, lived and practised on the city's Berggasse.

The young Josip Broz, later to find fame as Yugoslavia's leader Marshal Tito, worked at the Daimler automobile factory in Wiener Neustadt, a town south of Vienna, and sought employment, money and good times.

Then there was the 24-year-old from the north-west of Austria whose dreams of studying painting at the Vienna Academy of Fine Arts had been twice dashed and who now lodged in a doss-house in Meldermannstrasse near the Danube, one Adolf Hitler.

Nobel prize chiefs won’t make exception for Zelensky

 

Director of the Norwegian Nobel Institute says extending the deadline for nominations is not possible

 

Following an open letter from EU politicians, Norwegian Nobel Institute’s director Olav Njølstad has stated that the Nobel Peace Prize Committee will not be able to extend its deadline past January 31 to make the nomination of Ukraine's President Volodymyr Zelensky possible.

 

“As of today, the Norwegian Nobel Committee has not received the letter mentioned in your request. The Committee cannot extend the Nobel Peace Prize nominations deadline, which is January 31,” the director said, in response to RIA Novosti’s inquiry.

 

He added that the members of the Committee retain the right to put forward their own nominations until its first formal meeting, which has already taken place on February 28.

 

Earlier, 36 former and incumbent EU officials, including deputies and ministers, have signed an open letter requesting the Nobel Committee to extend its deadline for the peace-prize nomination until the end of March so that they could nominate the Ukrainian President Zelensky to receive the famous trophy.

 

The initiative, pioneered by predominantly Dutch politicians, calls on the global community to support “brave Ukrainian men and women” in the face of “this war waged upon them by the Russian Federation.” According to the Eurocrats, the Ukrainians are “fighting to preserve democracy and self-government” by “resisting the forces of authoritarianism.”

 

Currently, 343 candidates have been nominated for the 2022 Nobel Peace Prize, out of which 251 are individuals and 92 are organizations. Last year, the Nobel Peace Prize was awarded to a Russian journalist, Dmitry Muratov, and a Philippine journalist, Maria Ressa.

 

Volodymyr Zelensky was elected president of Ukraine in 2019 having promised to end the conflict in the Donbass region. However, under his leadership, Kiev has refused to negotiate with the breakaway regions. According to Russian officials, Zelensky’s administration was also preparing for a full-scale war against the newly-recognized republics while continuing to bombard its civilians. After a seven-year standoff over the disputed implementation of the Minsk agreements, on February 24 the Kremlin launched a military operation to protect Donetsk and Lugansk People’s republics. Zelensky has accused Russia of attacking without provocation.

Russia explains why no ceasefire amid peace talks with Ukraine

 

Russian troops won’t give ‘nationalists’ time to regroup, Moscow has revealed

 

Moscow will not put on pause its military action against Ukraine while conducting peace talks with Kiev, presidential spokesman Dmitry Peskov told journalists on Monday.

 

“You see, a pause in the operation, any pause, is used by the nationalist units to regroup, used to continue attacks against the Russian military,” the official explained. He claimed Russian troops in Ukraine have experienced this before “on multiple occasions.”

 

During the almost month-long attack on Ukraine, Russia declared a ceasefire on several occasions, stating that a pause in frontline fighting would allow civilians to evacuate affected areas and for humanitarian aid to be brought into Ukrainian cities caught up in the hostilities.

 

Moscow and Kiev repeatedly blamed each other for alleged breaches of ceasefire agreements in various parts of the country. Russia said it believed the Ukrainian government not to be in full control of its units, which count radical nationalists in their ranks. These forces, according to Moscow, are determined to fight to the end and don’t hesitate to hold civilians as human shields and to otherwise undermine efforts to prevent casualties.

Russian market surges as limited trading restarts

 

Financial operations had been suspended until further notice on February 28

 

Yields on Russia’s 10-year benchmark OFZ ruble treasury bonds surged over 20% at the opening auction on the Moscow Exchange (MOEX) on Monday. The Russian stock market has gradually resumed trading, having suspended most of its transactions three weeks ago.

 

Regular OFZ bond trading began at 10am GMT, after a morning auction to allow for prices to be set following the shutdown. The highest yield was 20.31% on the issue maturing on July 20, 2022. There are 55 OFZ bonds in issue.

 

Russia’s central bank said it would buy OFZ bonds once trading resumed, so as to prevent excessive volatility.

 

“These purchases will be made in the amounts needed to prevent risks to financial stability,” the bank’s governor, Elvira Nabiullina, said at a press conference on Friday, after the regulator kept the key interest rate unchanged at 20%.

 

Meanwhile, the ruble gained to trade 104 against the US dollar on Monday as market participants focused on the planned resumption of trading. The Russian currency weakened slightly against the euro, however, trading at 115 rubles per euro.

The MOEX nosedived a whopping 33.3% on February 24, when Russia launched a military operation in Ukraine. On February 28, trading was suspended until further notice as Western sanctions imposed in response to the offensive threw markets into turmoil.

 

The regulator has yet to say when trading in instruments such as stocks can restart, but a limited number of financial market operations have been permitted to resume over the next two weeks.

The crash occurred near the city of Wuzhou in Teng county as the airplane, a China Eastern Boeing 737-800, traveled from Kunming in the western province of Yunnan to Guangzhou in the coastal province of Guangdong, aviation officials said.Chinese President Xi Jinping called for an "all-out effort" in the rescue operations and for any potential safety hazards to be investigated.

 

Fire officials were working to get the flames under control after the crash ignited a blaze on a mountainside. The fire department in Guangxi was organizing 650 rescuers to come to the site, and 117 were already on the scene, People’s Daily reported. Video shared by People's Daily showed smoke billowing from the side of a mountain.

 

Data from the flight-tracking website FlightRadar24.com shows the China Eastern flight traveling around 30,000 feet before it suddenly dropped. The airplane was traveling at its cruising altitude speed of 523 mph, according to the data.

EU considering Russian oil embargo – report

EU ministers are set discuss a ban on Russian oil as part of the fifth package of sanctions, in an effort to force Moscow to abandon its military operation in Ukraine, Reuters reported on Monday.

 

“It’s unavoidable we start talking about the energy sector, and we can definitely talk about oil because it is the biggest revenue to Russia’s budget,” Reuters quotes Lithuanian Foreign Minister Gabrielius Landsbergis as having said. The new sanctions will also reportedly add more names of Russian individuals to EU blacklists.

 

EU foreign and defense ministers are expected to debate the matter on Monday, ahead of the arrival of US President Joe Biden in Brussels on Thursday for talks with NATO’s 30 allies, the EU, and the Group of Seven (G7) including Japan.

 

Last week the EU banned its member-states’ companies from investing in the Russian energy sector but fell short of banning oil and gas imports from the country. The EU gets roughly 40% of its natural gas from Russia, and more than half of the country’s oil exports are destined for Europe.

 

Reuters reports that Baltic countries including Lithuania are pushing for an oil embargo as the next logical step in putting pressure on Moscow, while Germany, the largest EU buyer of Russian crude, is urging caution because energy prices in Europe are already skyrocketing.

 

Another EU nation, Bulgaria, has said it might seek an opt-out, according to Reuters, as the country’s only oil refinery is owned by Russia’s LUKOIL and provides over 60% of the nation’s fuel.

 

Meanwhile, Moscow has warned of ‘serious’ consequences an embargo of Russian oil will have on Europe. Speaking to media on Monday, Kremlin spokesperson Dmitry Peskov said such a ban would “have a serious and negative impact on the energy balance on the European continent.” The US will not be affected as much as the EU, he added, but the people in Europe “will find it really hard. Such a decision will affect everyone,” Peskov said.

 

Russia has indicated that it can sell its energy products elsewhere if its Western buyers pull out. India, the world’s third-largest energy consumer, bought several million barrels of Russian crude last week, to be delivered in May. The Organization of the Petroleum Exporting Countries (OPEC) warned last week of an upcoming shock in the world’s oil markets if some buyers shun Russian crude.

That is the extent of the relevance of the personal information being released: The public does not need to know of the unsavory and illegal behavior Hunter engaged in—much less watch it—while he was in the throes of addiction. America also does not need to read the words of anguish exchanged between an addict son undergoing rehab and his famous father.

 

Yet Hunter Biden’s addiction, and the fact that tens of thousands of other Americans suffer similar demons, does not atone for the sins of the father. And that is what the email and text scandal concerns: Evidence that Joe Biden, while vice president of the United States, knowingly allowed his son to profit by selling access to Biden and others in the Obama administration, including to Communist Party of China leaders, and then lied about it.

 

The emails and texts Joe personally received also suggest a cut from Hunter’s influence-peddling. For instance, one email published by the New York Post detailed a deal Hunter Biden pursued with China’s largest private energy company that was “interesting for me and my family.”

 

A May 13, 2017 email with the subject line “Expectations” listed expected “renumeration packages” for various individuals, including “‘H,’ apparently referring to Biden.” The Post noted that “the deal also listed ‘10 Jim’ and ‘10 held by H for the big guy?’” but did not identify the “big guy.” However, sources have told Fox News “‘the big guy’ is a reference to the former vice president.”

 

A text recovered from the hard drive also suggests the former vice president may have received a cut of Hunter’s “earnings.” “I Hope you all cal do what I did and pay for everything for this entire family Fro 30 years,” a screenshot of a text from January 2019 to Hunter’s daughter read. “It’s really hard. But don’t worry unlike Pop I won’t make you give me half your salary.”

 

This Compromising Material Is a National Security Risk

 

Evidence of this scandal is too strong to ignore or to allow Joe Biden, the Democratic Party, or corporate media to cast aside as an unseemly attack on a recovering drug addict, and not merely because of the corruption at issue. Every country, every foreign politician or political faction, and every corrupt oligarch or business that paid for access has the emails, notes, receipts, itineraries, fund transfers, and maybe even photographs or recordings. And that makes Joe Biden a national security risk.

 

Remember, it was Acting Attorney General Sally Yates’ concern that then-National Security Advisor Michael Flynn was a national security risk that sent her to the White House to get him fired. The Russians would know, she maintained, that Flynn had misrepresented to Vice President Mike Pence his conversations with the Russian ambassador, and that would leave Flynn compromised. Of course, that theory was so preposterous that even disgraced former FBI Director James Comey called it a stretch.

 

But there is a world of difference between a conversation among a transition team member and a foreign ambassador and a conversation between individuals with foreign interests and the former vice president, bought and paid for with cash funneled through his son. A compromise of that kind holds serious national security issues, which is why our country needs a full vetting of this evidence.

 

If the emails and texts are fake, we need to know that. But all indications to date are that they are real, and spectacularly damning. And that has nothing to do with Hunter Biden’s addiction, and everything to do with Joe Biden’s unfitness for office.

Ladies and gentlemen,

Statement by President von der Leyen on Intel's announcement of its investment plans in the EU

A month ago, the Commission presented the EU Chips Act.

With the EU Chips Act, we want to make Europe a leader in the global semiconductor production. And we also want to strengthen our resilience, with home-grown, secure technologies, which are invaluable assets in the turbulent world we live in.

Our goal is to have 20% of the world's microchips production in Europe, by 2030. That's twice as much as today, in a market that is set to double in the next decade.

And it's not just about quantity. I want Europe to cross new frontiers in innovation. Breaking the 3 nanometers node barrier, for example. Creating energy-efficient chips. And also developing new technologies, new products and applications, that our minds can't even conceive today.

Yes, this is a challenge. And to take it up, it's not just a question of building a few big fabs, in some EU countries. We need to mobilise the best that Europe has: from fundamental research all the way to market applications. We need a network of research institutes, prototyping, testing and advanced production and packaging facilities, everywhere on the continent. In short: we need a true whole-of-Europe approach.

And for this, of course, we need massive investments.

This is what brings us here today.

In total, more than 43 billion euros of public investment, both EU and national investments, will support the EU Chips Act until 2030. It will make Europe a more attractive place for tech companies to invest in cutting-edge chips development and production.

This is why I see today's announcement by Intel as a first major achievement under the EU Chips Act. An 80 billion euros investment over the next decade across the entire semiconductor value chain. From R&D to manufacturing and advanced packaging. With many strong local partners.

It is a considerable contribution to the European Chips ecosystem that we are building right now. It will create new, well-paid jobs throughout Europe. And I'm sure that it will pave the way for more companies to follow suit.

My message is simple: Europe is a powerhouse of innovation.

We have some of the best minds and talents in research and development. We have skilled workers. We have a stable and attractive market.

And we are open for business.
