been telling people this for yrs. sr71 (A-12) first flew in 1962, sixty yrs ago. sixty yrs prior to that, 1902, the world was an agrarian economy, the most advanced tech was the telephone (hardly anyone had one), the steamship, the steam locomotive, and balloon airships. consider the evolution of technology from 1902 to 1962, and compare that to the evolution of technology from 1962 to now. considering that tech builds on tech, advancement OUGHT to be exponential. so where ARE the starships?
