This anon always preferred Saturday morning cartoons (Looney Toons, etc.) and Six Flags over anything Disney, ever. I do find it interesting that the biggest Disney fans I know (which is quite a few folks) are also the most staunch Church going types. I'm talking "we go to church on Wed, Sunday, and Sunday nights, too" types.
I never liked their brand, their content, and didn't really care for the park; though I appreciate the absolute enormity of it and the work put into building it. Favorite ride was 20,000 Leagues which doesn't exist anymore, anyway. Always got made fun of and ridiculed for being anti-Disney growing up. This is one of the very few things that I will say "I told ya so!" on. It's been 42 years in the making; LOL.
