UNITED STATES A DECLINING POWER

The United States has warned China that if it provides military and economic aid to Russia, it will face economic sanctions along with Russia. The warning was given by US National Security Adviser Jack Sullivan in a televised interview and later in a meeting with the head of China's Foreign Office in Rome, Italy. The meeting lasted about seven hours. Eyewitnesses later said that the meeting was held in a tense atmosphere and neither side was ready to back down. The two sides discussed a wide range of issues. The main purpose of the talks was to find a reasonable solution to the problems arising out of the Ukraine crisis. The United States has made it clear to China that in the case of Ukraine, it is better to stay away from Russia. The US envoy may have wanted to say that just as we have been away from Ukraine, you should stay away from Russia!
Whether the American threat is dangerous or not, it is known to be dangerous! The European Union is not moving forward on its own. It is pursuing a policy of apology through the United States. The US threat to China is a clear indication that it is no longer the super power. The record of history shows that America did whatever it wanted in seven decades. US does not believe in intimidation. Threatening China and advising it not to go along with Russia clearly means that it is no longer in a position to take any direct action against any powerful country. The question is not how much or how little US military power is there. No nation can develop on the basis of military force alone, nor can it advance in world affairs. The American leadership is not such a body that it does not even understand such a front. Those who have ruled the world will have a full idea of how much power they had when and how much is left now.
The stage of warning, intimidation and warning comes when the power to do something directly is gone. The United States is well aware of the difficulties that could arise if it collided with Russia. That is why, since the Russian invasion of Ukraine, it has been limited to issuing warnings. One major problem is that many countries are refusing to listen to the United States when it comes to assessing its declining power. After the Russian invasion of Ukraine, when the price of crude oil in the world market began to rise, the United States wanted to work with Europe to control this issue and prevent a global energy crisis. In this regard, US also called the Arab rulers. Many Arab rulers flatly refused to listen to the US President's call. They do not want to make any commitment to keep crude prices low at this stage. US is well aware that if Russia cuts off oil and gas supplies, Europe will face serious difficulties next winter. In such cases, it is natural for prices to rise. When America and Europe together can shape world politics and economy to their liking, then what sin has the Arab world committed to prevent it from doing so? Arab too has the right to benefit from changing circumstances.
Based on what the United States and Europe have done so far, some countries support them whereas some are against. This division is now more prominent because new options are available in the form of China and Russia. At the moment, the United States and Europe want everything that happens around the world to happen at their behest. In the absence of an effective global system, the entire world system would be in shambles. The status of the United Nations is now like that of a suspended member. The United Nations has generally been a spectator for seven decades. In this case, the need for a new setup is felt a little too much. Many regions complain to the United States and Europe that they do not shy away from achieving their interests. The Ukraine crisis is in a position to give rise to many crises. The question is how to build a better and more effective global system than the formation of a new bloc. What happened to Ukraine could happen to anyone else. The United States and Europe together have trampled on many countries. When criticizing Russia, the Western media should remember the time when the whole West came together and killed the people of an unarmed and very weak country like Afghanistan like sheep and goats. It's time to dump it and move on.
