EXCLUSIVE: Two fake Homeland agents - one 'with ties to Pakistani intelligence and multiple Iranian visas' - spent 18 months 'infiltrating and buying gifts for Jill Biden's Secret Service detail' in luxury DC building where they all lived and partied

Both Pakistani and Iranian visas were found during the search Wednesday, according to prosecutors, and there will likely be a conspiracy charge.

Arian Taherzadeh, 40, and Haider Sher-Ali, 36 - both U.S. citizens -

Tragically, on Wednesday, a wild fox that had been traipsing about the Capitol grounds in Washington, D.C. was euthanized. Captured on Tuesday by the Humane Rescue Alliance, the fox ultimately tested positive for rabies. Dubbed "the Capitol Fox," the vixen had become a bit of a local hero for Capitol Hill staffers over the past week, until she started nipping and biting people, which is admittedly, not great. Her six victims included Representative Ami Bera (CA-D) and a Politico reporter, Ximena Bustillo.

Washington D.C.'s health agency released a statement yesterday, saying, β€œThe D.C. Public Health Lab has confirmed the fox that was captured yesterday tested positive for the rabies virus. D.C. Health is contacting all human victims who were bitten by the fox.” While rabies can be fatal, none of the victims have reported any symptoms and have been feeling"fine." What a relief.

I would, however, hate for this fox to be remembered for the worst moment of her life, so let's remember her for the whole of her existence.

Thanks everyone for the well wishes! I feel healthy and am glad to be back at work.

Despite the dustup, I hold no grudge or ill will against @thecapitolfox. Hoping the 🦊 and its family are safely relocated and wishing it a happy and prosperous future. https://t.co/ys9aifa2MN

Born with no name, the vixen was mother to an unknown number of kits (who were also captured on Wednesday morning). Throughout the past week, she has made a number of great friends and a smattering of enemies. She was known for her beautiful red coat, her protective mothering, and an unabashed love of mischief. At the time of publishing, she has a Twitter account with over 4,000 followers.

As often is the case with working mothers, the Capitol Fox worked tirelessly for her family, putting the life of her kits before her own. Even Representative Bera, who only had a brief encounter with the mother before she bit him, wished the Capitol Fox well and hoped she and her family would be relocated. But she won't be, because she's dead. And her children probably will be soon.

Let us remember her for what she gave us. Let us honor her, in a slightly more humane way, by always nipping at the ankles of our representatives, ensuring that they're doing the job we elected them
