Emory University Restricts Wi-Fi for Students Non-Compliant with COVID-19 Booster Mandate

 

So free speech is now tied to a liability free experimental shot that has a 1:3K to 1:15K myocarditis rate for their age.

 

Atlanta’s Emory University has reportedly restricted about 1,300 students’ Wi-Fi because of failure to comply with the school’s COVID-19 booster requirements, according to Executive Director of Student Health Services Sharon Rabinovitz.

 

The restrictions started around the week of March 14th and caused students’ Wi-Fi to slow down and blocked access to nonacademic sites such as social media and video games.

 

The restricted Wi-Fi access caused over half of the impacted students to either submit proof of inoculation or request an exemption, Executive Director for COVID-19 Response and Recovery Amir St. Clair said.

 

“The Wi-Fi restrictions were a valuable compliance measure to help promote participation,” St. Clair said in admission to the immoral coercion tactic.

The reaction to the anti-grooming bill from Florida has created a narrative from the "Don’t Say Gay" crowd, who in their opposition to the legislation have erased and minimized the reality that educators are capable of misbehavior that targets minors in the classroom.

One instance happened in Florida but the stories range from coast to coast.

 

California: 56-year-old math teacher Gary Landergen of Fortuna Union High School faces allegations of sexual assault from "at least two students." The pair came forward with claims of inappropriate contact, leading to the teacher being placed facing administrative leave on Wednesday. He posted bail after being booked into Humboldt County jail. Detectives were able to find a few witnesses thus far to corroborate the claims made, but still encourage others to come forward in case more victims may be involved.

Florida: 30-year-old Thomas Deane was a former teacher at the Canterbury private school. Now he faces charges of "Lewd or Lascivious Battery and Lewd and Lascivious Molestation." with a minor as back in February, he met the victim who is said to be between the ages of 12 and 16 on the Grindr app. From there it progressed to a sexual encounter. The headmaster of Canterbury said the victim involved wasn’t a student of the school, but Deane was no longer employed there.

Iowa: 41-year-old former English teacher Justin David Rapier faces multiple rounds of charges of sexual exploitation by a school employee. In the latest case he was arrested for abusing a high-school girl at his home in Cedar Rapids on two separate occasions. Back in January, Rapier faced initial charges of sexual contact with a student and sent her text and social media messages over the course of several years.

North Carolina: 27-year-old Shawn C. Hicks was a science teacher at Harnett Central Middle School until earlier this year. He faces three charges of "indecent liberties with a student" and is jailed on a $50,000 bond. The news brought shock and disbelief to the surrounding community. Further reporting says each infraction happened at the suspect’s home.

 

These situations come amid a time where outlets like the Washington Post accuse "grooming" of being fringe accusations that can sway policy. Whereas sites like VICE claim conservatives have "resurrected an old strategy of invoking pedophilia to tar their pro-LGBTQ opponents."

Pennsylvania man arrested for allegedly putting anti-Biden sticker on gas pumps

 

Thomas Richard Glazewski, 54, of Manor Township has been charged with resisting arrest, disorderly conduct, harassment, and criminal mischief.

 

The incident was captured on video. Glazewski can be heard yelling expletives and “I did that. I did that. That’s what I did,” pointing to anti-Biden stickers at the pump.

 

A gas station employee told authorities that Glazewski had sprayed the stickers with a substance to make the stickers harder to remove, charging documents obtained by Lancaster Online.

 

Glazewski was reportedly upset about the price of gas and President Joe Biden.

Vladimir Zhirinovsky and the Art of Political Predictions

 

Zhirinovsky’s last prophesy has probably perked up some ears in the Washington Beltway, Robert Bridge writes.

 

Most people know the colorful leader of the Liberal Democratic Party of Russia (LDPR) as something of a court jester who for year has got away with saying the things nobody else would dare. At the same time, however, he has a lesser known track record for predicting events, and his latest one should give the United States tremendous pause.

 

Born in Almaty, then the capital of the Soviet Socialist Republic of Kazakhstan, on April 25, 1946, Zhirinovsky moved to Moscow in 1964 where he went on to receive several degrees, including in law and philosophy. In 1991, he was leading founder of the LDPR, which was at the time the first accredited opposition party in the Soviet Union. Several months later, Zhirinovsky became a household name in the world of politics as he placed third in the presidential elections, having attracted over 6 million votes.

 

Although many pages could be written about the LDPR leader’s notorious tirades that have become legendary (suffice it to say that his unfiltered opinions managed to get him declared persona non grata even in Kazakhstan, his homeland, after proposing alterations to the Russia-Kazakh border), the purpose here is to consider his predictions, some of which are startling in their accuracy.

 

Aside from predicting in 2004 that America’s next president will be a “black man and a Muslim” — not too far off the mark considering that Barack Obama’s middle name is ‘Hussein’ — and that an ‘Islamic State’ will soon rise up in the Middle East, Zhirinovsky also predicted a “revolution” for Ukraine back in 2012.

 

“Wherever there is a revolution, that means the leaders are idiots who don’t understand anything,” he remarked with his trademark blunt-force candor. “Ukraine too will have a revolution.”

 

Even earlier, back in 1998, Zhirinovsky clearly foresaw the unavoidable problems that would come to haunt Russia and Ukraine, manipulated as the latter was by the Western hemisphere. This was more of an ‘educated hunch,’ but noteworthy nonetheless.

 

“Because there is no [secession] treaty between Russia and Ukraine, Kiev will never be accepted into NATO or the EU, until that time that they solve territorial questions,” he said in a speech in the Duma, before adding that “everything that is happening in the Ukraine today, is done by Western powers. They’re doing everything to prevent it from remaining in our alliance.”

 

It’s no secret that an army of Western agencies, notably the U.S. Aid for International Development (USAID) and the National Endowment for Democracy (NED), practically wrote Ukraine’s domestic and foreign policy for years. These two fronts for ‘democratic renewal’ invested millions of dollars into local NGOs to carry out the prescribed ‘political activities,’ like making sure Kiev was never tempted into building better relations with Russia. And this isn’t taking into account the $5 billion that Victoria Nuland admitted Washington had spent in Ukraine up until the moment of the political coup; such an amount of money never comes without serious chains attached. This hefty Western influence was responsible for the violent overthrow of the democratically elected President Viktor Yanukovych, as well as the civil strife between Western and Eastern Ukraine that has led to the dramatic events we are witnessing today.

But Zhirinovsky was just warming up.

 

In perhaps his most impressive impersonation of Nostradamus to date, the excitable statesman predicted in a speech last year the events that would eventually come to pass in February of this year.

 

“I would have liked for 2022 to be a peaceful year,” he pronounced. “But I prefer the truth – I’ve spoke the truth for 75 years.”

 

“This will not be a peaceful year. It will be a year in which Russia once again becomes a great power,” he railed in his typical combative style that many people have come to excuse with a shrug of the shoulders. “The alternative is that they shut us up and begin to exterminate Russians – in the Donbass first, and then in Western Russia. So in this regard, let’s support this new direction in Russia’s foreign policy.”

 

However, not only did the firebrand predict that 2022 would “not be a peaceful year,” he predicted almost down to the day and time when the start of Russia’s special operation in Ukraine would occur: “You’ll see at 4 a.m. on February 22,” he said, missing the real date of Russia’s start of its special operation by a mere 48 hours.

 

Considering such a track record with his predictions, whether they are the result of ‘educated guesses,’ great intuition or long evenings at the soothsayers, it’s hard to say, but Zhirinovsky’s last prophesy has probably perked up some ears in the Washington Beltway.

 

On January 19, 2022, Zhirinovsky delivered one of his typical tirades, this one about the future demise of none other than the most powerful nation on the planet. Speaking about the United States, the Russian politician noted that Donald Trump “no longer says ‘Make America Great Again.”

 

“Now he says ‘We will save America.’ That’s right, Trump, but unfortunately you won’t be able to save it. There won’t be elections in 2024, because there will be no America. He can continue playing golf.”

 

Considering the trajectory of the United States of the last decade, which has seen the country become politically divided over ‘irreconcilable differences,’ while nearly ungovernable amid an open border combined with rampant crime and poverty, it will be interesting to see how this prediction pans out. There seem to be forces at the work in the United States, not least of all far-left radicals who pledge allegiance to ‘Cultural Marxist’ teachings, that have absolutely no desire to see the country succeed. These considerations, taken together with Vladimir Zhirinovsky’s uncanny ability to ‘foresee the political future’, as it were, seem to indicate bad times ahead for the U.S. Only time will tell.

one of the big emerging patterns for me was the catholic church method of disinformation and how it differed from other sources. He wrote the entire book and you could tell in the manner of authorship it was mainly coming from firsthand translation from interviews he had done, then he injected a single bit about someone who had gotten possessed by going off into the woods in canada and trying to 'talk directly to God' but, of course, that ended up being the demon.

WASHINGTON — Article III Project (A3P) today released new research on Judge Ketanji Brown Jackson’s excessively lenient sentencing record toward criminals charged with distributing and possessing child pornography. A3P obtained the eight sentencing transcripts and seven prosecutor sentencing recommendations (eighth under seal) for eight separate cases regarding child pornography where Judge Jackson handed down sentences that were below the United States Sentencing Guidlines, a pattern that A3P has found through research since the beginning of the nomination process. The eighth case was reported by Fox News after the hearing, leading to speculation of a cover-up. Yesterday, A3P launched a set of ads calling on U.S. Senators to vote against Judge Jackson’s nomination.

 

“Judge Jackson’s consistent record of excessive leniency and excuse-making for child sex predators is not only deeply disturbing; it’s disqualifying. The most recent batch of A3P research demonstrated a decade-long pattern by Judge Jackson of defying experts’ testimony and handing down sentences that were excessively less than what was recommended for those who have committed child sex crimes.

 

The Article III Project (A3P) was founded by veteran GOP operative and attorney Mike Davis, who, after helping win the Senate confirmation battles of Neil Gorsuch and Brett Kavanaugh, developed the reputation as a “take-no-prisoners conservative eager to challenge the left with hardball tactics,” as reported in The New York Times. Arizona AG’s Interim Report on 2020 Election Fraud Investigation Was Just Released

 

Arizona Attorney General Mark Brnovich issued a report on Wednesday that claimed the office had not found evidence of widespread voter fraud or irregularities in the 2020 presidential election in Maricopa County.

 

However, the Attorney General did raise serious concerns about voting procedures in his interim report to Senate President Karen Fann. Brnovich claimed his office ‘has left no stone unturned in the aftermath of the 2020 election.” His report can be read in full below.

 

“Six months ago the Arizona Attorney General’s Office (the “Office”) received reports sent from the Arizona State Senate concerning its Maricopa County Forensic Election Audit,” Brnovich’s letter states. “In addition, the Attorney General’s Election Integrity Unit (EIU) has received and is reviewing additional complaints alleging election failures and potential misconduct that occurred in 2020.”

 

“Our team of EIU investigators and attorneys has now collectively spent thousands of hours reviewing the Senate’s audit reports and other complaints, conducting interviews, and analyzing Maricopa County’s election system and processes,” he continued. “We have reached the conclusion that the 2020 election in Maricopa County revealed serious vulnerabilities that must be addressed and raises questions about the 2020 election in Arizona.”

 

“As our state’s chief law enforcement officer, I am very concerned by any potential vulnerabilities in our state’s election systems, including those that the audit and other complaints have alleged,” he claimed. “The EIU’s review has uncovered instances of election fraud by individuals who have been or will be prosecuted for various election crimes.’ The EIU’s review is ongoing and we are therefore limited in what we can disclose about specific criminal and civil investigations. Thus, this interim repo1i will focus on what our office can presently share and the cunent status of our review.”

 

“We can report that there are problematic system-wide issues that relate to early ballot handling and verification,” he said. “The early ballot signature verification system in Maricopa County is insufficient to guard against abuse.”

 

“Moreover, our review has determined that in multiple instances, Maricopa County failed to follow critical procedures when transporting early ballots from drop locations to the election headquarters,” he added. “It is estimated that between 100,000 and 200,000 ballots were transported without a proper chain of custody. Because most voters in Arizona now choose to vote by early ballot, it is imperative that the processes for handling and verification of early ballots be strengthened before the 2022 elections per our recommendations below.”

 

“The Office’s investigation is still developing in material ways,” Brnovich went on. “The Office has been sending repeated requests for information from Maricopa County, and new information is coming in, including as recently as yesterday. This Interim Repoti comes at the six-month mark after the Senate sent its reports to the Attorney General. Investigations ( civil and criminal) of this magnitude and complexity take many months if not years to complete.”

 

“Mail-in voting is and has been a facet of Arizona law, but the opportunity for fraud increases the moment a ballot leaves the protective custody of the election official and enters the postal system,” Brnovich says later in the report.

“There must be stronger procedures in place for early-ballot signature verification, and those procedures need to be uniform across the state,” he adds. “Under state law, an early ballot is not complete, and cannot be counted, unless and until it includes a signature on the ballot affidavit.”

 

Brnovich also discussed the lack of ballots tossed due to mismatched signatures.

 

“During the 2020 General Election, Maricopa County saw a significant increase in the number of early ballots, receiving 1,908,067 early ballots (an increase of 723,276 early ballots),” he said. “Yet the number of early ballots rejected because of missing signatures continued its dramatic decrease (to only 1,455 ballots) and the number of early ballots rejected because of mismatched signatures increased only slightly (to 587 ballots). To be sure, Maricopa County has explained that the number of early ballots rejected for mismatched signatures during the 2020 General Election was impacted by the Legislature’s creation of a 5-day post-election cure period for mismatched signatures.”

 

“But the existence of that cure period in 2020 does not explain the dramatic decrease-on an absolute or percentage basis-of ballots with missing signatures from 2016 to 2020 or the dramatic decrease in early ballots with mismatched signatures from 2016 to 2018,” he added. “One possible explanation for these trends, and the AG acknowledges there could be others, is that Maricopa County became less diligent with signature review beginning in 2018.”

 

“Finally, we conclude that because signature verification is the most imp01iant current check on early ballots, there must be opp01iunities for pmiies’ election observers to meaningfully observe the signature verification process in real time and to raise objections if officials are not doing their jobs to actually and accurately verify signatures,’ Brnovich added. “The Legislature should act to ensure transparency on this check.”

 

“Maricopa County failed to follow the EPM procedures when transporting 20% of the early ballots from drop box locations to MCTEC,” he also noted. “And because the Secretary of State did not present the Attorney General a lawful EPM for approval in 2021, as required by A.R.S. § 16-452, there is currently no EPM in place governing the 2022 elections, exacerbating the issue for the upcoming election.”

 

The Attorney General also discussed the influence of private grants in Maricopa County, which he suggests are of dubious legality.

“To secure the purity of our elections, our laws prevent election officials and others f om influencing the manner in which electors choose to exercise their right to vote,” Brnovich said. “During the 2020 elections almost $8 million dollars of private, nongovernmental grant monies were used by Arizona Secretary of State Katie Hobbs, Maricopa County, and Pima County for various election purposes as outlined in a repoti prepared by the Arizona Auditor General dated March 30, 2022. We are carefully reviewing this report to determine if any election laws were violated through the use of these funds. Although our review is ongoing, our initial findings raise serious concerns regarding the legality of certain expenditures.”

 

The Attorney General also gave recommendations on future audits.

 

“In addition, the Legislature should enact legislation that expands the powers of the Auditor General to conduct future audits of election systems,” his report said. “The Auditor General is well positioned to perform this function and should be given the resources to handle such audits in house in a professional and prompt manner. The Auditor General should be given authority to request Attorney General assistance in obtaining documents and equipment in the possession and custody of state and local officials. Periodic audits performed by the Auditor General, with reports to the Legislature, will ensure that state and local officials are complying with the law, identify shortcomings, and foster confidence in our state’s election systems.”

 

Brnovich also gave suggestions on preventing future election wrongdoing.

 

“The Legislature should also consider increasing the penalties for election-related crimes and adding protections for whistleblowers,” he said. “Due to the difficulty in detecting ballot harvesting, the Legislature should review whether it should increase the classification of the felony for that crime.”

 

“The Legislature should also consider adding a crime where members of an organization, including a non-profit or non-governmental organization, that knew or should have known members (whether employees or volunteers) in their organization are engaged in widespread ballot harvesting are subject to criminal liability,” he continued.

 

“The Legislature should also enact specific criminal penalties for anyone who tampers with or damages a ballot-drop box in a way that could damage any ballots contained in such drop box,” he went on. “Finally, the Legislature should consider strengthening criminal penalties for failure to comply with a legislative subpoena or request by the Auditor General or Attorney General, and the Legislature should strengthen protections for whistleblowers who are aware of any potential wrongdoing. Such protections should be made retroactive, and permit whistleblowers to come forward with evidence related to past elections as well.”

 

The Attorney General’s report thus lays out that there were widespread irregularities, contrary to media reporting. Unfortunately, there has been a severe lack of accountability for those election infractions, which is the heart of the problem. Trump lost Arizona by fewer than 10,500 votes.

Memo Reveals State Department Assessed in Early 2020 That Lab Leak Was Most Likely Origin of COVID-19

A newly released memo from the U.S. State Department reveals that government officials knew early on that the COVID pandemic likely originated at a lab in Wuhan, China.

 

That memo, dated April 2020, states that out of five possible origins for COVID, a lab leak was by far the most likely. The memo also suggests that alternative theories had been introduced to prevent a lab leak from being investigated. The memo, which focuses almost entirely on the likelihood of a lab leak, contains a large amount of information that wasn’t known publicly at the time it was written.

 

Although a lab leak is now widely accepted as a likely origin for the virus, when the memo was written, a concerted effort was underway to discredit that possibility. It also raises the question of what senior State Department leadership—including then-Secretary of State Mike Pompeo—knew and why the information was withheld from the public.

 

According to the newly released memo, the State Department knew as of April 2020 that the central issue surrounded an obsession with collecting and testing a massive amount of virus-carrying bats on the part of the Wuhan Institute of Virology and China’s Wuhan-located Center for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC).

 

The State Department noted that lab testing of the earliest-known patient at the Wuhan Central Hospital in December 2019 determined that the virus was a “Bat SARS-like Coronavirus.” At the time this patient was tested, the Chinese Communist Party (CCP) hadn’t disclosed that there was any problem at all.

 

When they finally acknowledged an outbreak, they initially blamed it on pneumonia. It was only at the end of January that the CCP finally started admitting that COVID-19 was caused by a new virus that was transmitted between humans.

 

By that time, the virus had already been seeded across the globe and any chance at suppression had been lost. It was during this same period that the director of the National Institute of Allergy and Infectious Diseases, Dr. Anthony Fauci, was made aware of the virus’s likely origin, having been told by a group of scientists whom he was funding that there was a high probability that the virus was engineered.

 

Although it’s been known since June 2021 that Fauci and the NIH covered up his knowledge of the virus’s origin, the State Department’s early insight into these matters wasn’t fully known until late March 2022, when the transparency group U.S. Right to Know obtained the April 2020 memo.

Two Labs

The memo, titled “An Analysis of Circumstantial Evidence for Wuhan Labs as the Source of the Coronavirus,” comprises five pages and is written in military BLUF style, meaning “bottom line up front.”

 

The memo begins by stating that one of two Wuhan labs is the likely source of the COVID outbreak. The two labs identified by the state department are the Wuhan CDC’s lab located in downtown Wuhan and the Wuhan Institute of Virology, where Shi Zhengli was known to have conducted dangerous gain-of-function experiments on bat viruses.

 

The State Department’s focus on the Wuhan CDC lab as a possible source is particularly significant as that facility is located only a few hundred feet from the Huanan Seafood Market where an already infected customer may have caused a superspreader event in December 2019.

 

Notably, the World Health Organization’s lead investigator of the virus’s origin, Peter Ben Embarek, privately told a Danish TV crew that he suspected that the Wuhan CDC lab was the origin of the pandemic. Embarek, who promoted a natural origin for the virus in his public report, privately noted that the CDC lab had mysteriously moved to its new downtown location in early December and that such a move may have increased the chances of a lab leak or accidental spillage.

 

The other lab identified by the State Department as the likely source of the pandemic is the Wuhan Institute of Virology, which has been the main focus of attention over the past two years.

 

The State Department memo noted that the Wuhan Institute, by far the most logical place to investigate the virus origin, had been completely sealed off from outside inquiry by the CCP. The memo also noted that a gag order regarding both Wuhan labs had been issued on Jan 1, 2020, and a major general from the People’s Liberation Army had assumed control over the Wuhan Institute of Virology since early January of 2020.

 

The State Department memo emphatically stated that “All other proposed theories are likely to be a decoy to prevent inquiry to Wuhan CDC and Wuhan Institute of Virology.”

 

It bears repeating that the memo was written in April 2020.

That’s because the State Department’s decoy argument mirrors the actions taken by Fauci and then-National Institutes of Health (NIH) head Dr. Francis Collins who–at the same time this memo was written–were actively suppressing and censoring any public discussion of the lab leak scenario. When Fox News ran a story in April 2020 suggesting that the virus came out of a Wuhan lab, Collins immediately contacted Fauci to explore ways the two men could “put down this very destructive conspiracy.”

 

Collins had previously told Fauci and his group of scientists that “science and international harmony” could be harmed if the lab leak theory took hold. Collins’s directive led Fauci’s group to publish two papers that categorically dismissed the lab leak theory, one in the medical journal the Lancet and the other in the scientific journal Nature. Those two papers would become the cornerstone of combined efforts from Fauci’s scientists, the media, Big Tech, and the U.S. government to suppress any discussion of a lab leak, while simultaneously promoting the natural origin theory.

 

The State Department memo also lists many facts that the public has only come to know in piecemeal fashion over the course of the past two years. We’ve previously covered many of these details on our show, including that the Wuhan CDC had a resident “Batman”—Tian Junhua—who bragged about personally having collected more than 10,000 virus-carrying bats as lab samples from Chinese caves.

 

Tian also was widely known for his recklessness and carelessness during his collection process.

Regarding the Wuhan Institute of Virology, the State Department memo noted that the director of the lab, Shi Zhengli, had conducted gain-of-function engineering of bat viruses to make them more easily transmittable to humans. As we now know, the defining feature of the COVID-19 virus, its furin cleavage site, is what makes the virus particularly transmissible in humans. While no furin cleavage site has ever been observed in naturally occurring SARS coronaviruses, Shi was part of a 2018 research proposal that aimed to insert exactly such a feature into coronaviruses.

 

The State Department’s memo also highlights the poor safety standards at the Wuhan Institute, a fact that could easily lead to an unintentional leak of the deadly virus to the outside population. Interestingly, the memo also questions the disappearance of lab worker Huang Yanling, whose bio, profile, and picture were scrubbed from the institute’s website shortly after the outbreak. To this day, Huang’s whereabouts and well-being remain unknown.

 

Lastly, the memo takes a detailed look at a Chinese medical professional whose online name is Wu Xiaohua. Wu claimed that Shi Zhengli was playing God by creating coronaviruses with the specific aim of making them more transmissible in humans. Wu also claimed that Shi used intermediate animals in her lab and that her lab’s management of deadly viruses was appallingly poor and negligent.

 

The State Department memo found Wu’s claims to be credible and that assessment holds up well, given the information that has been made public in the intervening two years. We now know Shi had an active plan to insert furin cleavage sites into bat viruses, we know that she used humanized mice to test how her virus creations would affect humans, and we know that her lab was repeatedly cited for its poor safety record.

 

The most striking takeaway from the memo is that it focuses almost entirely on the lab leak scenario, reflecting that the State Department was almost certain in April 2020 that the virus had originated in a lab. What remains entirely unclear is why neither the State Department nor Secretary Pompeo released this information as soon as they had it.

Had the memo been made public nearly two years ago when it was written, the course of events would have been very different. Knowing that the virus came out of a lab would have refocused public attention and the search for remedies could have been more focused.

 

There also would have been more concerted efforts to prevent future leaks. Rather than misdirecting the public toward a natural origin, Fauci and the NIH would have been exposed for their role in funding the work at the Wuhan Institute.

 

Most importantly, the Chinese Communist Party would have been subjected to greater international pressure for its role in suppressing any advance information regarding the outbreak. The memo might also have had an impact on the 2020 presidential election, as voters tended to see Donald Trump as far more capable than Joe Biden in taking on the CCP.

 

While we don’t know with certainty why the memo was concealed, the only person who had a constitutional role in deciding if suppression of a lab leak should be the policy of the U.S. government was President Trump. Although it’s possible that Trump decided it would be better to conceal the facts, it’s far more likely that, like all of us, the president was kept in the dark.

The first joke is that Earth's resources are finite. Dozens reported killed in rocket strike in Donbass

 

Warring parties accused each other of hitting a railroad station in Kramatorsk

 

A presumed airstrike that hit a train station in Kramatorsk, eastern Ukraine, has reportedly killed at least 30 people. Ukraine accused Russia of delivering the strike while Russia-aligned local forces blamed Ukrainian troops for the deaths.

 

Images from the scene show emergency services dealing with a fire near the contested city’s central station, with what appeared to be bodies of people scattered around.

 

A photo of what appears to be part of a missile lying on the ground was circulated on social media. The projectile had a note “for the children” painted on it.

 

Ukraine’s state rail operator said at least 30 people were killed and over 100 injured in the incident. The head of the Kiev-appointed Donetsk Region administration, Pavel Kirilenko, claimed the deaths were caused by a Russian Iskander missile. He said the projectile had a clustered munition warhead.

 

Ukrainian presidential advisor Alexey Arestovich likewise claimed the weapon to be an Iskander missile.

 

Ukraine’s President Volodymyr Zelensky, on his turn, said that the missile was a Tochka U, but claimed it was fired by “Russian monsters”. He alleged Ukraine’s opponents deliberately targeted civilians in Kramatorsk and said that thousands of people were at the station waiting for evacuation.

 

The Donetsk militia, which consider Kramatorsk as part of the Donetsk People’s Republic, claimed the missile was a Tochka U of the Ukrainian forces. The militia said Ukraine has a long record of deploying the weapon system that neither Russia nor the DPR forces use.

 

Mikhail Khodarenok, a retired Russian Armed Forces colonel and military commentator for RT, said the images from the scene do not resemble the impact of a Tochka U. “Its armament section weighs more than 400 kilograms (881 pounds),” he said, adding that such a powerful missile would have caused a lot more damage to the surrounding area.

 

Kramatorsk remained under Kiev’s control in 2014, when the armed conflict in eastern Ukraine flared after an armed coup in Ukraine. Last week, DPR head Denis Pushilin called on residents of Kramatorks to flee the city. He said Ukrainian nationalist forces could block all evacuation attempts at any moment.

Russia denies striking train station in Ukraine

 

Kiev’s claims that a Russian missile hit Kramatorsk are not true, the Russian defense ministry said

 

The Russian defense ministry has denied claims coming from Kiev that one of its missiles targeted a train station in eastern Ukraine. At least 30 civilians were reportedly killed and over 100 injured in the incident on Friday in Kramatorsk.

 

Ukrainian officials immediately claimed the strike involved a Russian missile, either an Iskander or a Tochka U. The Russian ministry stated it had no operations planned for the Kramatorsk area for Friday and called the accusations “a provocation that has absolutely no relation to reality.”

 

The Russian military added that images shared by witnesses show debris from aTochka U missile, a weapon system that “only the Ukrainian forces use,” according to the statement.

 

A missile of a similar type hit the city of Donetsk on March 14, the ministry pointed out. The attack, which Moscow attributed to a Ukrainian missile unit, killed 17 people and injured 36 others, it said.

 

Karmatorsk is a city in the northern part of Donetsk region and is claimed by the Donetsk People’s Republic as part of its territory. When hostilities flared in eastern Ukraine in the wake of the 2014 armed coup, the city remained under Kiev’s control.

 

Ukrainian officials claimed without evidence that Russia attacked the train station deliberately to kill civilians preparing to evacuate from the city. Moscow stated from the start of its offensive against Ukraine that it seeks to minimize casualties and only attack military targets as part of its stated goal of demilitarizing the country.

China weighs in on root cause of 'Ukraine issue’

 

Beijing has said that the primary reason fro the conflict is the “security imbalance” in Europe

 

China said on Thursday that the fault lines of European security have caused the current Russian-Ukraine conflict. Moscow has insisted that one of the goals of its ongoing military campaign against Kiev is to make Ukraine declare itself a neutral country which will never join NATO.

 

Chinese Foreign Minister Wang Yi expressed his country’s view on the matter during a phone call with Emmanuel Bonne, diplomatic adviser to French President Emmanuel Macron.

 

“The Ukraine issue originates from Europe’s security imbalance,” Wang said, according to a statement by the Chinese Foreign Ministry.

 

“[A] balanced, effective and sustainable European security architecture should be rebuilt on the basis of the principle of indivisible security. Only by doing so can Europe truly achieve lasting peace and stability.”

 

Wang added that all parties should work to “create the necessary environment and conditions for advancing peace talks,” instead of “fanning the flames.”

 

One should not call for reaching a ceasefire and stopping the conflict while sending large quantities of advanced weapons and equipment to further escalate the fighting.

 

NATO member states have been increasingly arming Kiev with weapons, including anti-tank and air defense missile systems. Moscow has said that flooding Ukraine with weapons undermines the peace process.

 

Beijing refused to condemn Russia’s military campaign in Ukraine and, unlike many countries, has not imposed sanctions on Moscow, insisting that such measures disrupt global trade and do not contribute to a resolution of the conflict.

 

US Deputy Secretary of State Wendy Sherman warned China on Wednesday of “a response from the international community” should Beijing support Russia “in any material fashion.”

Divisions in Germany over military aid to Ukraine – media

Chancellor Scholz reportedly reluctant to deliver 100 old armored vehicles as demanded by coalition partners

 

There is division in the German government over a proposal to restore and deliver to Ukraine some 100 old Marder infantry fighting vehicles. Politicians from the Green Party are pushing for the move, but Chancellor Olaf Scholz remains reluctant, according to a Politico report published on Thursday.

 

Scholz’s delay of the final decision, which was expected this week, has frustrated its backers, including Vice Chancellor and Economy Minister Robert Habeck and Foreign Minister Annalena Baerbock, according to the report.

 

Cabinet members have so far refrained from publicly criticizing the Social Democrat leader, but some lawmakers were more open about their frustration. Anton Hofreiter of the Greens, who chairs the parliamentary committee on European affairs, told Politico that Germany should show leadership and not hide behind other nations.

 

Like many other NATO members, Germany supplied Ukraine with military equipment, but refused to deliver any heavy weapons. Scholz told the parliament this week that he wanted to coordinate the proposed delivery of armor with the EU and NATO, arguing “it would be a grave mistake for Germany to take a special role and a special path.”

 

The proposed shipment involves decommissioned Marder infantry fighting vehicles that are stored by its producer, Rheinmetall. Most of the armor will have to be refurbished before it could be of any use to the Ukrainian military.

 

Kiev’s forces will also need to be trained on how to use and maintain them and Germany will have to supply munitions and spare parts. Berlin is concerned that the proposed transfer could drag it into a war with Russia.

 

Proponents of arming Ukraine suggest speeding things up by supplying Marders that are currently on active duty and using the decommissioned vehicles as replacement further down the road. They also call for delivering Leopard main battle tanks and other heavy weapons to Ukraine.

 

Politico quoted Thorsten Benner, director of the Global Public Policy Institute think tank in Berlin, who argued that by supplying armor to Ukraine Germany could tone down criticism over its continued reliance on Russian natural gas.

 

“I think it’s of central importance for German credibility that we don’t put the brakes on everywhere, but that there is also an area where we lead,” he said. “And especially if it is currently impossible for Germany to stop the gas payments, which bring [Russian President Vladimir] Putin billions, in the foreseeable future, then battle tanks would be a good alternative.”

Disney’s Child-Predator Problem

Instead of promoting gender ideology, the company would be better served by addressing a longstanding history among its employees.

 

The Walt Disney Company has long presented itself as the voice for America’s children. According to company lore, the animation studio was founded by a wise and kindly father figure, and its theme parks are “the happiest place on Earth” for kids. In recent weeks, the company has entered the political debate about Florida’s Parental Rights in Education legislation and sought to establish itself as a moral arbiter on children’s education and sexuality.

 

But behind its meticulously curated self-image, Disney has had a long-standing problem with child predators gaining employment within the company and exploiting minors. In 2014, reporters at CNN published a bombshell six-month investigation that discovered at least 35 Disney employees had been arrested for sex crimes against children, attempting to meet minors for sex, and possession of child pornography over the previous eight years.

 

The stories are horrifying. In one case, police set up a sting operation that nabbed three Disney employees who believed they were soliciting sex from minors. Robert Kingsolver, who oversaw ride repairs at Disney World, enticed someone he thought was a 14-year-old girl for sex in a private residence. Joel Torres, another Disney employee, allegedly brought condoms with him to have sex with a 14-year-old child. And Allen Treaster, a concierge at the park’s Animal Kingdom Lodge, went to meet a 14-year-old boy to “fulfill a fantasy” of being a “Big Teddy Bear for younger chaser.” In all three cases, the men were met and then arrested by police, who had set up the trap to catch child predators in the Orlando region. Kingsolver denied the charges; Treaster admitted that he had molested a 15-year-old boy a few weeks prior to his arrest.

 

Other Disney employees were found to have committed child sex crimes using the Internet. According to police and court records, custodial manager Cedric Cuthbert was caught downloading child porn on a Disney work computer, giftshop employee Paul Fazio was convicted for downloading “multiple scenes of nude prepubescent children engaging in sexual activity with adults,” and security guard William Marrero-Maldonado was charged with seven counts of promoting videos and photographs of the “sexual performance of a child.”

 

Why Disney? Polk County Sheriff Grady Judd, who oversaw some of these investigations, explained why child predators would choose the Magic Kingdom as a place of employment. “Wherever you find children, you’ll find sexual predators,” he told reporters. Most employees “work at Disney because they want a good, stable job for a great company, but there is always a few that are there because they can see children. They can live in a child’s world.”

 

The evidence suggests he is right. Kingsolver, the Disney repairman who believed he was arranging sex with a minor female, told his perceived victim in a chat room that he “really enjoy[s] giving oral” and used the Disney brand to build trust. “I work for Disney so I love to see dads having fun with their daughters,” he wrote. “I believe in treating a lady like a princess. I treat ladies with respect because that is how I hope my daughter gets treated.” Another Disney employee, Patrick Holgerson, who was caught sending nude photos and having explicit chats with law enforcement officers posing as a 13-year-old boy, told investigators: “I just have a strong connection with kids. I like working with kids. I just enjoy helping them grow.”

Disney has claimed to have “extensive measures in place” to provide a safe environment for children, but there are reasons to doubt it. Even after the CNN report, Disney has seen a steady stream of employees caught in the dragnet for child predators. In 2019, police arrested a Disney cruise “youth host” for molesting a ten-year-old boy in the ship’s “Oceaneer Kids Lab” and, later that year, arrested another Disney cruise employee for raping a girl “over 100 times” at her home starting when she was 11 years old. (The charges regarding the molestation of the ten-year-old boy were later dropped when the parents did not want to bring the child in for testimony at trial.) Since then, three Disney employees have been arrested for soliciting sex with minors, two have been arrested on 40 total counts of child pornography, and four more were arrested earlier this month in a sting operation targeting “human trafficking, child predators, and prostitution.”

 

Even worse, despite its crystal-clean image, Disney has come under fire for failing to report abuse. In 2014, after a crewmember on the Disney Dream cruise ship was caught on security cameras molesting an 11-year-old girl, Disney authorities failed to report the crime until after the ship had left port, which allowed the man to evade arrest. When one security officer protested, Disney authorities allegedly told her to “keep your mouth shut” about the crime. Moreover, according to advocates associated with the International Cruise Victims organization, Disney’s trade-association lobbyists had worked to oppose and then water down federal legislation that would have required stringent safety and reporting protocols for sexual abuse on cruise ships.

 

Instead of joining the drumbeat of fashionable left-wing sexual theories and promoting gender ideology in elementary school classrooms, a more productive campaign for Disney executives would be to identify and remove the predators from within their company’s ranks.

US sanctions ‘world’s largest diamond mining firm’

 

The latest round of penalties targeted state-run companies in Russia, including a major diamond mining concern

 

The United States has imposed another layer of sanctions on Moscow, this time targeting state-owned enterprises, including one of the world’s largest mining companies and Russia’s top shipbuilding firm.

 

The Treasury and State Departments unveiled the new penalties on Thursday, saying they would hit Russia’s Alrosa mining company and the United Shipbuilding Corporation, citing the ongoing attack on Ukraine.

 

“These sanctions will continue to apply pressure to key entities that enable and fund Russia’s unprovoked war,” senior Treasury official Brian Nelson said, also vowing to continue efforts to “restrict the Kremlin’s access to assets.”

 

Alrosa is the world’s largest diamond mining operation by volume and is responsible for around 90% of Russia’s capacity, with its exports totaling more than $4.5 billion last year alone. It was previously identified as a potential candidate for sanctions under an executive order issued a little over one year ago.

 

The United Shipbuilding Corporation, meanwhile, was said to produce “almost all of Russia’s warships” and was penalized separately by the State Department alongside 28 subsidiary firms and eight individuals on its board.

 

As a result, all US-based properties belonging to the two companies and their subsidiaries will be seized, the Treasury Department continued, noting that American citizens will also be barred from doing business with the targeted entities.

 

The measures follow a flurry of recent sanctions on Moscow from the Biden administration and a long line of Western allies, designed to “cripple” and “isolate” Russia’s economy. Earlier on Thursday, the European Union voted for a full embargo on Russian energy, though the non-binding resolution may allow some member states to skirt the penalties, namely countries that remain dependent on Russian oil, coal, or gas. The proposal passed overwhelmingly in a 513-22 vote, with 19 abstentions.

 

Washington previously imposed an outright ban on imports of Russian coal, gas, and oil, with the White House declaring that the US should “reduce [its] collective dependence on Russian energy and keep the pressure mounting” on President Vladimir Putin. The ban was codified by lawmakers on Thursday in two separate votes.

 

Alrosa shares lost over 6% on the Moscow Exchange by 07:00 GMT on Friday, trading data shows.

Just days after getting arrested in a child sex sting, Robert Kingsolver is a long way from his beloved job at Walt Disney World.

 

Inside his rented house in a suburban Orlando neighborhood filled with children, he sits in a folding chair in a nearly empty room, wires dangling in the corner where his computer used to be connected.

 

Now, he can’t be online or near children.

 

“My life is ruined,” he told CNN in an interview at his home. “My family’s life is ruined. My kids’ life is ruined. I’ve devastated my parents because of bad judgment.”

 

Kingsolver, 49, is one ofat least 35 Disney employees arrested since 2006 and accused of sex crimes involving children, trying to meet a minor for sex, or for possession of child pornography, according to a six-month CNN investigation that examined police and court records, and interviewed law enforcement officials and some of the men who have been arrested.

 

Five Universal Studios employees and two employees from SeaWorld have also been arrested.

 

So far, a total of 32 have been convicted, with the remaining cases pending.

 

Two cases, which were for possession of child pornography, occurred on Disney property, according to police reports.

 

None of the cases involved children or teenagers visiting the parks.

Kingsolver, a service manager who oversaw ride repairs at the Magic Kingdom, has pleaded not guilty to soliciting a child for sexual acts and traveling to meet a minor for unlawful sexual activity.

Ambassador to Germany told media outlet that he sees all Russians as enemies

Ukraine’s envoy to Berlin, Andrey Melnik, has sparked criticism after calling all Russians “enemies” in an interview on Wednesday with a German newspaper, and later doubling down on his words. His comments triggered accusations that the statement is “nothing short of fascism.”

 

“I will say it very clearly: Russia is an enemy state for us. And all Russians are enemies for Ukraine at the moment,” Melnik told Frankfurter Allgemeine Zeitung (FAZ) in an interview published on Tuesday. He went on to say that it’s not his “concern” to “distinguish” between “good” Russians and bad ones.

 

The ambassador was responding to a question on why he snubbed a charity concert organized by President Frank-Walter Steinmeier that featured both Russian and Ukrainian musicians in late March. Melnik called the event a “provocation,” adding that he cannot imagine Russians and Ukrainians “celebrating together” and “enjoying culture” as long as war is raging in his homeland.

 

Known for his tough talk, Melnik also accused the Germans and their president of insensitivity, arguing that they simply “cannot understand” the nature of the predicament since they are not “on the receiving end” of the conflict.

 

The diplomat, who said he has never had any Russian friends and has “no illusions” about the future, added that “Ukraine has been, is, and likely will remain an enemy of Russian society for a long time to come,” while Russia will remain Ukraine’s enemy “even after the war.”

 

The interview drew a wave of criticism from readers. “With all due respect, Mr. Ambassador, that is a disgrace for a diplomat of your rank,” one person wrote. Another said, “according to the article, Mr. Melnik is a racist and must be barred [from speaking] on social networks and in the media.”

 

Melnik, however, appeared unrepentant. On Wednesday, he published a picture of his interview in the printed FAZ edition on Twitter, and accompanied it with a caption in capital letters reading: “All Russians are our enemies.”

 

The barrage of criticism, however, apparentlyfailed to change the ambassador’s mind. In a recent tweet, he blasted another German music event that saw a Russian violinist awarded a prize. “I will never visit [the German city of] Osnabrück again,” Melnik wrote, denouncing the “hypocritical bridge-builders” whose musical bridges “lead straight to hell.”

 

The German authorities have not commented on the ambassador’s statements, although the magazine Stern called his words “drastic.”

A high school football champion who was shot by police after he appeared to disarm a gunman at a California restaurant has sued the city and its police department for excessive force, his lawyers said Thursday.

 

In a lawsuit filed in U.S. District Court in Northern California, lawyers for K’aun Green, 20, accused authorities of opening fire without giving him a chance to comply with orders to drop the gun after “he had heroically protected himself and everyone in the restaurant” from the gunman.

 

Green’s “dream of playing Division I football and being drafted into the National Football League are in jeopardy,” the suit claims. “He faces a long and uncertain road to regain the life he once enjoyed.”

Green was struck in his abdomen, a leg and an arm, according to the suit. Part of his intestines were removed, the suit says, as were multiple pieces of shrapnel.

 

Green said at a news conference Thursday that he was in pain and “hurting inside and out,” according to the San Jose Mercury News.

 

“They treated me like a criminal even though I saved my friends’ life,” he told reporters, adding: “It’s still surreal to me, it just hurts to know I can’t play football this year. I’m going to try my hardest to make a comeback.”

 

A San Jose police spokesman and a spokeswoman for the city attorney’s office declined to comment on the suit Thursday.

According to the suit, Green and a few friends were waiting at a San Jose taqueria March 27 when a "stranger" began harassing him and punched him in the face. As Green tried to defend himself, a friend of the attacker pointed a gun at Green and other customers, the suit says.

 

Green wrestled the weapon away from the gunman and moved toward the taqueria's front door as three people chased him, trying to get the pistol back, the lawsuit says. "Mr. Green fended them off with one hand while simultaneously holding the gun away from their grasp in his left hand."

When Green backed up through the restaurant's front door, a San Jose police officer fired four times. The suit claims that none of the officers gave warning that Green would be shot, nor did they give him time to comply with orders that authorities have said were given to drop the weapon.

 

Restaurant security video released by authorities last month showed a chaotic scene, with multiple people throwing punches and Green appearing to wrest the gun away from someone. In disturbing bystander video of the shooting, about 4 seconds passes between when Green opens the taqueria's front door and when a police officer shoots him.

 

The suit claims Green remained handcuffed to a hospital bed after the shooting and was prevented from seeing his family until March 29.

 

San Jose Police Chief Anthony Mata told reporters that officers who responded to the fight believed they were responding to an "active shooter scenario" linked to a nearby homicide.

 

Authorities later concluded that another person took the gun to the restaurant but that when the officer saw Green backing out of the taqueria, he didn't know that, Mata said. The officer knew only that "the individual holding the gun did not drop it when commands were clearly given to him."

 

Green is a three-time state football champion who played quarterback at an Oakland high school, the suit says. At the time of the shooting, he was a linebacker at Contra Costa College who earned first-team all PAC-7 conference honors last season, according to the school's athletics program.

A man has been shot dead during a foiled robbery on a group of mothers and their young children.

 

Elivelton Neves Moreira, 21, targeted the group outside a school in Sao Paulo, but one of them was an off-duty cop dropping off her child.

Security cameras filmed the incident which took place on Saturday morning at around 8am at Ferreira Master school where they were attending a Mothers’s Day party.

Military police officer Katia da Silva Sastre, 42, has been commended for her actions after she shot three times at Moreira who later died from his injuries in hospital.

The gunman pointed his .38 revolver at the mothers and threatened the school’s security guard, taking his wallet and phone.

Schools are expected to be a safe environment for children, but these arrests make people realize kids aren’t as safe as we’d like them to be when we send them off to school.

 

Stop Educator Sexual Abuse Misconduct & Exploitation (SESAME) is an organization that describes itself as a national voice for prevention of abuse by educators and other school employees. It has compiled alarming statistics on the incidences of sexual abuse in schools nationwide, reporting that just under 500 educators were arrested in 2015 (2016 statistics were unavailable as of this writing):

 

Of children in 8th through 11th grade, about 3.5 million students (nearly 7%) surveyed reported having had physical sexual contact from an adult (most often a teacher or coach). The type of physical contact ranged from unwanted touching of their body, all the way up to sexual intercourse.

This statistic increases to about 4.5 million children (10%) when it takes other types of sexual misconduct into consideration, such as being shown pornography or being subjected to sexually explicit language or exhibitionism.

Very often, other teachers “thought there might be something going on”, but were afraid to report a fellow educator if they were wrong. They didn’t want to be responsible for “ruining a person’s life,” although that is exactly what they are doing to the child if they don’t speak up, thus allowing the abuse to continue.

The ADL Center on Extremism has, with a high degree of confidence, identified “Clandestine,” the man behind the viral biolab conspiracy theory, as Jacob Creech, a self-described former restaurant manager and Army National Guard veteran living in rural Virginia. The discovery highlights how a fringe QAnon figure, harnessing the power of social media, sparked a viral conspiracy theory that – in just a few weeks – made its way from QAnon to the world stage, amplified by Tucker Carlson, white supremacists Nick Fuentes and Vincent James, members of the Proud Boys, and Steve Bannon – and even the Kremlin.

 

…InfoWars, a conspiracy site run by Alex Jones, published a story promoting the biolab conspiracy, crediting @WarClandestine for uncovering what it dubbed the “ulterior motive theory.”

If you're hearing about the bio labs it was me,” Creech said during a February 26 appearance on the show. He also promoted the theory, under his alias BioClandestine, during a March 15th appearance on election fraud conspiracy theorist Seth Holehouse’s show Man in America, saying, “they're trying to establish a narrative that Russia is going to be the one releasing these biological weapons after they said there were no biological weapons in Ukraine. So now they're in this mass cover-up phase.”

Jacob Creech called into RedPill78, an online show hosted by QAnon influencer Zak Paine, on February 26, 2022.

Creech has repeatedly invoked “Q” over the years. Liberal billionaire George Soros and his daughter, Andrea Soros Colombel, are bankrolling two entities that are supporting far-left politicians who back defunding the police, a Fox News Digital review of campaign finance records found.

The Soros money has flowed to a joint fundraising committee and a PAC attached to the efforts. The joint fundraising venture, called Lead the Way 2022, includes the Way to Lead PAC, Missouri Rep. Cori Bush's campaign committee, and the campaigns of the 12 other progressive politicians attempting to enter Congress.

George Soros has long supported overhauling the criminal justice system. The financier has poured tens of millions into district attorney races and has dished out large sums to groups focused on police reform efforts, including financing a hub used by progressive activists pushing to dismantle the police.

Andrea Soros Colombel, meanwhile, has kept a lower profile than her father. Despite this, she is propping up the current joint fundraising committee benefiting Bush and the other far-left politicians for the 2022 elections.

According to Federal Election Commission records, Andrea Soros Colombel has shelled out $100,000 to Lead the Way 2022, the joint fundraising effort that includes the Way to Lead PAC and the campaigns of the progressive candidates.

George Soros has separately pushed cash into the Way to Lead PAC, which is attached to the joint fundraising effort. The financier moved $100,000 from his Democracy PAC over to the Way to Lead's non-contribution account, which can be used on advertisements supporting or opposing candidates.

The funds from Andrea and George Soros put them among Lead the Way 2022's and Way to Lead's top respective backers for the 2022 elections.

Those two entities, in turn, are supporting Bush and the progressive hopefuls as they look to expand the "Squads" ranks within Congress.

Lead the Way 2022 has transferred nearly $40,000 into Bush's campaign coffers this cycle, the filings show. The Missouri Democrat has been an outspoken proponent of police defunding.

It has also disbursed money to the others in the collaborative fundraising venture, many of whom also back defunding the police.

Rana Abdelhamid, who is running in New York's 12th congressional district, has received $28,000 from Lead the Way 2022. Abdelhamid has called defunding law enforcement a feminist "priority" in now-deleted Instagram posts.

"Intimate Partner Violence is up to 4x higher in homes of cops than the general population," she wrote in a graphic, citing the National Center for Women and Policing. Another graphic in the post encouraged readers to donate to "Defund the Police Efforts."

Kina Collins, a candidate in Illinois' 7th district, was also provided $28,000 by Lead the Way 2022. Collins participated in a defund the police rally and has called for the abolition of the U.S. Immigration and Customs Enforcement.

Odessa Kelly, attempting to win a House seat in Tennessee's 7th district, was given nearly $41,000 from Lead the Way 2022. Kelly signaled her support for defunding the police in an interview with Our Data Bodies.

"Some of the groups out here who one hundred percent push the protection of our communities and are leading the defund-the-police charge and all those things. I’m on board with you," Odessa said during the interview.

Does anyone remember the video that was on qresearch during a Portland riot with the proud boys in an alley or something fighting and pushing garbage dumpster at round? Abstract

Just before the 2016 Christmas holiday weekend, President Barack Obama quietly signed the 2017 National Defense Authorization Act (NDAA) into law. Deep within the act is a controversial provision called the Countering Foreign Propaganda and Disinformation Act (CFPDA), which establishes a Global Engagement Center under the State Department and consolidates the power of several federal broadcasting entities under one authority. This center will coordinate efforts to counter foreign propaganda, mainly from Russia and China, that is aimed at undermining the United States’ national security interests. The consolidation of power creates some concerns regarding journalistic independence and credibility for media outlets such as the Voice of America. The new Trump administration’s perceived amicable relationship with Russia also generates uncertainty around the commitment to fight Russian disinformation and propaganda. This essay argues that the US does in fact need some kind of governmental entity devoted to the creation of counter-propaganda, and then concludes there are deficiencies and vulnerabilities with the CFPDA, especially a lack of adequate administrative oversight. Based on this conclusion, as well as on lessons gleaned from how other nations have dealt with Russian disinformation campaigns, the essay offers tentative recommendations as to what an effective governing structure would look like.
